Save your money. The people who reviewed this have likely never had real ramen that wasn't of the instant variety. The broth is saltly but otherwise bland. The meat is dry, my cats wouldn't even touch it. The egg wasn't good. Tasted almost spoiled. Its NOT worth $15 a bowl. Save your money and go to the ramen place in the Collection in Oxnard. I'm not one to give such bad reviews but I'm really disappointed. The wait was really long for them not being busy at all (we were the only group. 4 people) we each got a different ramen and they all bad. The description of the ramen on the menu is terrible and doesn't even tell you whats in them and when you ask the staff, they just tell you to look at the pictures. There's a bunch of random stuff on the ramen that they don't tell you comes on it. The waitress was really nice though. But thats the only good thing I have to say about it. Update: we all went back and got a refund. Only my husband and friend went in to talk to the owner. But while there the nice waitress didn't want to give the refund because it would come out of her paycheck. We were told on the phone to come back to get our money back. She offered half the refund. We said no, we want the full amount back. The "co-owner" went up and was fighting it too. He started taking pictures of my husband and friend and told them to never come back. No problem there, your food was terrible and made us all nauseous immediately after eating and none of us have sensitive stomachs. All the arguing was in front of other customers too. I live by lucky Thai and love it so I had to come check out the new spot. I ended up with the egg rolls, drunken noodles with chicken and the wonton noddle soup. Everything was delicious. The drunken noodles were packed with flavor and plenty of chicken. The wonton soup was awesome, the noodles and spinach blended very well with the broth and the wontons were delicious, nice little burst of flavor. Service was amazing and quick, and the girl who helped me was very nice. Definitely coming back with the roomies to try some more items or probably get the drunken noodles again haha read more

Amazing variety of foods! I went to this place recently, and I love how they have a variety of foods to get. I ordered the shoyu ramen and the tofu pad thai dishes, which came out to be about $30. The shoyu ramen came with a bunch of toppings (including the ramen egg!), like a tempura, a couple of chashu meats, and other things that I usually find to be additional costs at other places. And I usually judge a ramen by its ramen egg, and it was good! A good ramen egg to me is one that is a little runny still. The pad thai was delicious and very filling. It came with a good amount of tofu and noodles, and was not overcome by the vegetables. For the amount of food I got, I would say the prices are very reasonable. As for the service, the cashier was very friendly and nice. The food didn't take too long to wait for (about 10 minutes). And I was a little worried about the way the ramen would be packed, but it was packed well. The soup was separated from the rest of the foods, so that when I got home, the soup could be added to the rest of the toppings and still be good. Another thing I noticed was that the ramen and the pad thai were still very warm even after an hr and a half in the car (which is a plus!). We love this place! We've tried many items on the menu over multiple visits and they've all been delicious! Food comes out fast. They don't skimp on the veggies (which are SUPER fresh) or meat. I can't say enough about how kind and attentive the staff are; we've come three times with two little kids and the staff has been so, so sweet to them! It's the little things like bringing out kids drinks in a lidded container (because who wants to deal with an accidental spill!) to picking up a baby toy or blanket I accidentally drop so I don't have to bend over with a baby on my lap. Visited there yesterday and today my stomach is churning, to put it politely. This was not my 1st visit to AM Noodle, and before this visit I had found it satisfactory, but not anymore. Price of lunch special has risen to 13.95 and servings seemed smaller. Like about 4 bites of salad, and even though the menu clearly said rice was included, none was served. Waitress could not keep our orders straight, even though we were there for an early lunch and they were not busy. Lady at the next table was served a dish she did not order, and waitress had a very hard time communicating. More troubling than the poor service was that the food was served cold. Cold soup, cold egg rolls, cold pad thai and cold chow mein. We did not complain or return the food but we should have. We are paying the price today. There was no excuse for the food to be cold as they were not busy and had adequate time and opportunity to prepare the food properly. We will never ever go back. Heed my warning. read more

Absolutely love this place! Came last week on our way home & live about 2 hours away. I loved it so much I had to come back! (So worth the drive) I had the chicken noodle soup & my husband had the duck noodle soup. Both very delicious! The hot sauce they give on the side adds some delicious & spicy flavor which to me is just the cherry on top. The guy at the front is very friendly.
