I should've looked at the more recent reviews. I went here with my BF for a couples massage earlier this month and it was by far our worst experience. I set my expectations accordingly as I've been to spas with the nice ambiance and facilities, while I've also been to Asian/Chinese massage parlors (such as this). First bad sign, there's a stiff paper towel on the headrest where you lay your face.. not comfortable at all. Is that for sanitary reasons? I've never seen that before. Second, the lotion the lady used on me was cold AF and had a medicinal odor. Third, the massage itself felt like it was performed by my mom. Lol it was weak and it just felt like she was shifting her hands around my body. Are these people actually trained/certified? also, the two ladies stepped out for about 5-10 mins to grab a towel? I'm not even sure but there was a moment where the massage just completely stalled. It gets better. So as my BF and I leave we're chased down by the front desk asking for more money because our tip "wasn't enough". It was so awkward and uncomfortable... trust me, if the massage and experience was worth it, we would've given a worthy tip. The $100 we paid for the services felt like a rip off itself. I originally went to the San Ramon location a couple of months ago and had an amazing foot massage so my partner and I booked a 90 minute couples massage here. This is the only thing reason I'm giving three stars. The front was super sweet and organized but my masseuse was a different story. She spent most of the time massaging me under the sheet. (Which is totally fine for the warm up but this one was a long) During the portion when the sheet was pulled off, I was scratched/pinched numerous times. My partner said he was even scratched too during his. When it was time to go to the bottom portion she left me exposed and kept going pretty far up, practically in my private region including putting very hot stones around there. Also during the entire massage she kept her phone somewhere on the table so it was vibrating throughout the entire time. I was honestly mortified. Once we got out we were getting change for a tip (which was lower given what happened during the massage) The masseuse told me that it wasn't enough essentially and steamrolled me into tipping them more. Spa had a change of management in Oct 2018. Yelp should erase previous reviews and start fresh on them. Masseurs have changed and the difference in attitude from the ownership is clearly visible. They have a new loyalty program. For one, it isn't great seeing your previous loyalty points not getting honored and then the new program keeps spamming you with text messages. Torn between 2-3 stars. Pros: Massage was great, they were able to book us on the same day and the price was reasonable. Cons: The environment is not set to be relaxing relaxing as I had desperately hoped. If you are sensitive to noise, as I must be, you will hear everyone walking in and out along with the conversations at the front desk. The massage started while the door to our room was cracked, when I asked to close it all the way I was told by one lady that the door was closed enough. I mentioned that it was pretty hard to relax with all the outside noise and the second lady said it was ok and kindly closed the door for me. (In my opinion the massage should have never started with a cracked door for the privacy of the client) The room was a little cold for my liking and I could feel the breeze from the front door being opened creeping in from the door to our room (but to their defense I did not bring this up) I hope they can find something to help block out noise and check in with clients on the desired temperature of the room or at least extra blankets. read more

The best customer service I have ever had from a spa therapy and Tom was very friendly as the precaution for COVID 19 was taken very seriously. I was having a really bad shoulder ache due to playing basketball and I was finding good health and wellness center. I came to the right place and my pain has gone 90% which is fantastic. After the massage I was having a really bad headache when I told him about my pain he gave me a extra 15 minutes massage for free to care of my head ache he also provided me with a wet towel and some water. This is new place in Dublin. Prices are very attractive (One hour Full Body for $40 and one hour foot for $22) My Masseuse was Linda. She was good at her job and I found professional. No complaints about massage. Few things I didn't like for which I would like to take rating down. 1. It is not very quite place. You will always hear some noise about people talking especially front desk person. 2.After massage, Massage prices are low but masseuse kept arguing about tips. Even after paying 20% tip, she was demanding amount equal to 50% (my massage was total $62, Paid $15 and she was asking tip "at least 30). I didn't understand logic of demanding tip. Both my husband and I have tried this place and have been very satisfied. I came here due to a splitting headache from too much studying and lack of sleep. They took their time to understand what I was experiencing and customized my massage to help soothe and heal my aches and pains. I came out of the massage feeling rejuvenated. The throbbing pain that I had was alleviated. And by the next morning, I was only feeling a lot better. I have kept the stamp card that they provided. I walked in with no appt, they were very accommodating. Due to time constraints they offered me options, one therapist for 30 min or 2 for an hour (30min) each. I loved that I was given the option. On the other hand, they do such a good job that I want them to be successful! I've had several massages here at the recommendation of a friend and they are fantastic. I've been able to make a same-day appointment for a 90-minute massage. The cost is very reasonable. The spa may not look like much from the outside but is nice inside and clean. I generally don't request anything special because in 90 minutes, they are able to take care of all of my aches and pains. If you have injuries or special needs, I would speak up. I've been coming here for almost 3 yrs. I've had Kevin (he left and a new Kevin is there now), Steven, and recently Tom. I don't see any difference between any of the masseurs. They are all very good and always find the issues. With the current pandemic restrictions in place, they only do your backside; not your front. Since both of us have our masks on, there is no difference in risk "according to the science" with lying face down or face up (I have been in healthcare and pharmaceutical research my whole life). We had an appointment for massage last Sunday at 7:30 PM by phone. I had a great experience with Amador Spa. My tightened muscles were relieved by their hard massage and hot stones. I am so pleased with their service. The following morning , I realized that my apple watch was gone missing and and might have left it in the Spa. We called them and checked if they have seen it. That Sunday night after our appointment with them, they have seen and kept my applewatch and they were trying to call us and inform us , but we were overwhelmed with the very good massage and service and we had a very good night sleep that we didn't check our phones with their missed calls. I came here last night for a couples massage with my husband. I received by far the WORST massage that I have ever received from this place. When I first walked in, I told the guy at the front desk that we were there because my husband had severe lower back pain caused by an injury at work. I told him to have the massage therapist focus on his lower back because he was unable to sit, stand, basically unable to move. Massage started and I have to say, I have never wanted a massage to be over so fast! The lady they massaged me was doing super fast strokes that were slippery and also super hard. It seemed as if she was in a hurry to finish, but we paid for an hour of Swedish massage. You know, a massage that is for RELAXING! She was rubbing her elbows into my spine and I wanted to scream! It was so frustrating, I felt her go over knots, but not work on them. Ugh I was so tense the whole time because I was so upset by her weird techniques. She was just absolutely horrible! I didn't get her name. Now for my husband's massage, like I mentioned I told the guy to have them focus on his lower back only. 50 minutes in, they left the room to get hot towels. I asked my husband how he felt and if they focused on his back, he told me that she massaged it for only 1 minute! I got so upset. He is too nice to say anything, so when they came back inside, I told his masseuse to only focus on his lower back for the remainder time. After we left, I went to the front desk and talked to the guy there and told him that when I walked in, I let him know to tell them to work on his lower back only and how they only worked on it for 1 minute, until the last 10 minutes that I mentioned it to them. I told the guy to schedule another appointment for my husband and have them only focus on the lower back this time. My husband refused to return. He said that they made it worse, so he didn't go to his appointment. I honestly do not think that any of the ladies here have a license to massage anyone! DO NOT HERE! I gave them a chance to fix the issue today. The lady they gave me was terrible. She was just lathering oil on my back, back and forth. I gave her a chance and 20 min later asked her to go a lot deeper. Then she gave me an elbow rub with barely any weight behind it, almost in defiance. I was polite, she was not.
