My pizza was awesome. Got a large Hawaiian with extra sauce and extra cheese. It almost had too much cheese on it! I was torn about whether to get the garlic bread or the cheese bread and I decided to go with garlic bread. I definitely should've chose the cheese bread, or maybe just neither one. Too crispy and not enough of the garlic butter on it. Some people may like it this way, but I personally was expecting something different. I also got Alfredo sauce to dip the garlic bread in, and it was just ok. It probably tastes better when actually used for Alfredo. So, yeah the garlic bread was a let down, but the pizza was great. I love Amante's no dough low carb pizza options. I appreciate still being able to enjoy pizza despite going keto to manage health stuffs. A friend got the low carb addict and enjoyed the meatballs. The containers are aluminum and retain heat well, and also makes reheating leftovers in the oven easy. Will tonight we ordered dinner thru Grub hub and when we got out order we have food items missing. We checked with the driver and he said that is what they gave him. We only had dessert here because we ate across the street. But the pizza that people were eating looked good. We got the cannoli and a tiramisu. All desserts were priced at $6.50. They also had other options like chocolate cake, baklava, and some kind of New York cake. The lady fingers in the tiramisu were super soaked and wet. It reminded me of a tres leches cake, which I do not like. The presentation was nice and I'm surprised that it held it composure as well as it did with the amount of coffee it had. It was tasty though. The cannoli was a much better choice. It came with 4 mini's. The shell was thick and held the cream well. The cream filling was thick and the dessert came with chocolate drizzle and a dusting of some type of light brown powder. I'm thinking it was like an espresso powdered sugar, but I couldn't tell. The waitress was great- she was very attentive and happy to answer our questions about the menu (namely the difference between a grinder and sandwich). My family and I went to Amante for dinner night before last evening. We arrived around 6:30, were promptly greeted and seated, given menus, and had our drink order taken. At the same time we ordered our drinks, I ordered the appetizer "Cheese Bread." We were a party of six adults, two children, and one toddler. Consequently it took some time for everyone to figure out what they were ordering and what they would be "sampling" from one another. Hence, I was glad to have ordered the appetizer along with the drinks! The meals ordered were: Lasagna, Linguine with Clam Sauce, Beef-Stuffed Canneloni, Four-Cheese Spaghetti Bake with Grilled Chicken, Spaghetti, and Pizza. Each of the meals included House Salad (or Soup) and sliced Garlic Bread; we all ordered Salad. Amante has about six or so different salad dressings, of which I "sampled" the House-made Balsamic Vinaigrette and selected the House-made Ranch. Of the dressings, I thought the Balsamic Vinaigrette was a little too heavy on the herbs (possibly Oregano or dried Basil), and that the Ranch was excellent in flavor but light in quantity, and I personally wanted more! The salads themselves were really fresh and tasty and the portion size was more than ample. I would have liked at least one Pepperoncini though, which were not part of the salad ingredients - just for a bit of tartness and acidity. As we sat consuming our beverages, I inquired as to the location of our Cheese Bread and was told, "It's on the way!" "Yum!" I thought, as I was famished. Well, after several more minutes of waiting on the Cheese Bread, I decided to ask again and this time I was told that the kitchen was having to "re-make" it, which I thought was a bit odd and also thought that either it was forgotten altogether or, served to another table by mistake. Still wanting the "appetizer, " I decided that if it would arrive after our main dishes did, I would argue against it being included on our bill. And wouldn't you just know it! Right then, out came our main meals!! I was almost in disbelief, but I managed to temper myself and hold my tongue. Then, as if by magic, a server arrived with the Cheeeeeeeeese Breeeaaaaddd!!! Yaaaaaaaaay!!! And, in a show of fantastic Customer Service, our Server apologized for the for obvious delay and assured us the bread was gratuitous at that point. Bravo Amante!!! And, now let me tell you... the Cheese Bread was most certainly worth the wait!!! O. M. G! Let me just say it as plainly as I can. It's a good thing I don't live anywhere near Everett! Because, if I did, I would be at Amante's two or three times a week, at least! Cheese Bread = Most Excellent!! As for our main dishes, my Lasagna - which was by far the smallest main dish on the table, was more than enough to eat and indeed left me stuffed! It was also VERY GOOD! And, did I mention the Cheese Bread?!? Yeah. I ate at least half of the plate full!!! Yummy!! Feedback on the remaining food items was: ° Linguine with Clam Sauce - jalapeños were just "a little" too over the top on the heat scale, but VERY tasty! ° Beef-Stuffed Canneloni - Plentiful and Delicious!!! ° Four-Cheese Spaghetti Bake - Very good but, a little too little Marinara Sauce, causing the dish to be a bit dry. ° Spaghetti and Pizza - Excellent! And again, portion sizes were huge!!! The Staff who waited on us were very courteous, friendly, and patient. They got all of the food orders correct, save one minor salad item request (i.e., No black olives). We were assured once more before paying that the Cheese Bread was, "on the house." The restroom at Amante is a single use, male/female/all gender water closet, or WC as they say in Europe. It was clean and stocked! I would say prices at Amante are reasonable, VERY reasonable for the quantity and quality of food one receives. If ever in Everett again, I will make it a point to visit Amante's again. The worst service I've ever experienced and seen in a restaurant. The restaurant was completely empty on a Friday night and the waitresses seemed annoyed that we came in (6pm with a reservation). I tried to make small talk with the waitress and she told me to only ask questions from the menu. Another large party came in to be seated and they gave them a hard time for not having a reservation, keep in mind the restaurant was almost completely empty. The food was nothing special. First Class restaurant! We decided to give this restaurant a try and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was very good, and the portions were amazing! Because we loved the food, the service, and the accommodations we asked if we could make a reservation for our family of 14 to have dinner there after my daughters wedding the following week. Don't sleep on Amante if you're eating low carb! My favorite (so far, I haven't tried everything yet) is the low carb feta fetish. No dough pizza is just so customizable though, it's like a very saucy pizza casserole. Outstanding value too! You'd think it would be less filling being just toppings in a bowl with no crust, but it is very satisfying. One order gives me about 3 meals, when I could easily polish off a pizza at the same price point in one sitting. I ordered pizza from Amante before going low carb as well, and loved it (my favorites are Eggplant Lovers and Spartacus). While the pizza and low carb entrees are excellent, the wings and side salads are underwhelming. Wings are flabby not crispy and have lots of gristly bits, and side salads come with copious amounts of flavorless cheese that I am not crazy about. But if you're going in for pizza or to satisfy that pizza craving on a low carb diet, Amante is a super solid choice. read more
