We came here for lunch. It wasn't busy, so we were thankful for that. We were told after ordering and paying for our food and drinks at the counter that they don't validate for parking. That was a bummer. At least the cost of the food was reasonable. We found seating inside and waited for our food to be prepared. It was a little noisy with the music on that our group at the table had to speak up to hear one another. The food was good. It wasn't amazing or something that left me wanting to come back right away, but it wasn't unenjoyable either. All of our items came wrapped/packaged to go, even though we were eating there. It seemed like a waste of paper and plastic. But maybe it's just easier for the kitchen staff to prepare the food that way? Upon leaving we thanked them, and they thanked us back. We exited the parking area and found that the cost to park was steep! $9 for 1.5 hours, that cost more than my meal did. It's too bad that there isn't any sort of discounted validation offered because after our parties all paid and exited the parking area, each party later said that they wouldn't return specifically due to the parking fees (even though everyone was pretty happy with their meals). read more

A friend brought me to Amarith for lunch on Tuesday when I was volunteering at CHOC. It's across the street from the hospital and it a favorite for breakfast and lunch. I loved it so much that I'm back three days later! I was down the street at the Ortho and I'm on crutches today. The owner sat me down and sent someone over to take my order. Very welcoming and very helpful! Hamburger bun to die for. Made fresh daily! The beef is grass-fed. I'm trying the fries for the first time. This place is hidden away in the Union Bank Building. I've been working on the 6th floor for at the Union Bank building for over 2 years. Amarith is on the first floor here. It has been such a luxury having this place so close to where I work. Everything on the menu is delicious. They have everything from pizza to sandwiches to salads to brewed coffee. The ingredients are always top notch and fresh. Most importantly all the staff are incredibly nice. They knew my name after the first few times I went there. Very genuine people Something to note the speaks to them as an organization. Once the COVID19 crisis hit and it was hard to find toilet paper and other essentials they switched over to a mini super market and always had stuff in stock. 5 stars!! read more

I've been coming here for about two years now. The service has been amazing and the staff are all very nice and welcoming. The great me by my name which makes me feel at home. Definitely recommend everything on the menu. My favorites are the turkey sausage brioche and the ranchero burrito. So I been eating food from here for about 2 years now and today was the first day my husband tried their food and he was amazed! He is a wannabe food critic and was surprised of how good it was. I didn't write a review after my first visit and probably should have. However, I gave the benefit of the doubt and ordered again. My second visit was not any better. I placed an order online at 9am for pick up at 11:10. I arrived at 11:12 and the lady at the counter had no knowledge of my orders. She went around the corner and spoke in Spanish to the cook asking him to make it right away. When she came back to the counter she said he was just finishing it. You shouldn't judge a book by a cover because I fully understand Spanish and know what she told him. I get it, sometimes technology fails but this time it didn't she just "didn't see it" why lie about our order not being done? I don't mind waiting when things like that happen but to wait and all the orders be wrong is unacceptable. The lady at the counter who I am told is the manager had no empathy about the whole situation just brushed me off to help the next person. I support two high level executives and will be sure to persuade them to eat elsewhere on days their schedules do not permit waiting. read more

This place is the most phenomenal place but BEWARE when ordering. I work across the way so have ordered take out multiple times but multiple times they've screwed up my order! I just left and ordered a turkey bacon avocado sandwich, well it's missing the avocado. Another time I ordered the ultimate amarith that's supposed to come with sprouts, didn't get the sprouts. Another time the bread on my sandwich was stale... the food is so tasty but is frustrating you have to literally check your order before you leave to make sure you're actually getting what you paid for. read more

My husband and I came for the first time and loved it. He wanted a breakfast burrito and I wanted vegan options... we both won! My husband had the "eye opener" to drink and was wide awake. It has a bitter taste but he usually drinks his coffee black so he loved it. I had the vanilla latte and was pleased.. Love this little hidden gem of a cafe. I eat here all the time. The berry patch to go tea is #1 and the blueberry muffins are the best I've ever had. I agree the food is great, but damn man....i work covering emergency clinic calls and have a very small window to run down and grab my order...HENCE the ordering online. I placed my order @ 7:14am, received the notice that my food 'Should be ready by 730'...went to go get it @ 745, and it STILL wasnt ready. Turns out my food portion was sitting on the back counter totally bypassed by the guy calling out current Orders, that i had to ask him, 'may i have the name of that one'? Then my drink i had to end up waiting an additional 5 minutes for. So in total: Ordered @ 714am, not ready till 750 = wait time 35 Minutes. I get it, some mornings are busy, and sometimes things happen where one falls behind. I work in a nearby building so I thought this would be my go to breakfast place when I'm running late...not so much. Visit #1: I went during lunch to get an egg salad sandwich...it took 25 minutes. The sandwich was ok and I chalked up the wait time to it being the lunch rush... Visit #2: I took advantage of their online ordering system and ordered toast and oatmeal...I waited 15 minutes before going down to pick up my order and not only was it not ready, "they were having issues with the online system" so I had to wait another 20 minutes to get toast and oatmeal, AND the oatmeal was watery and gross. Visit #3...Today I had my 3rd and final bad experience at Amarith I walked in at 7:45am and there was not a single customer there...I ordered a bacon and egg croissant, the snappy Asian girl who proclaims herself "The Manager" said it would be a 5 minute wait...I sit and wait and wait and wait...After 10 mins I say, "Hey I'm gonna be late to work, is my order ready yet?" The manager replies "No, there's something wrong with our ordering system, so he didn't make it... You have a choice, I can cancel your order or I can deliver it"...I have no faith that they would remember to deliver my sandwich in 15 mins so I got my $5 back and now I'm hungry! This place is a joke...go to Starbucks, the Coffee Bean, or Corner Bakery for a quick breakfast. Hell! A freakin' sit down breakfast would be faster than this place!! read more

What a nice and delicious place to become a regular at. By far, this place has the best green tea frap! I really love anything they make on their croissants because they are made in-house. You cannot get that anywhere else. To make an even better impression, the owner (Mr. Amarith) made it a point that the chef makes their food at the time you order it. It was never frozen or packaged. The place is family owned and seriously worth the try. I ordered then green tea blended latte and their French toast. I really loved the crunch of the French toast! If there's such a thing as being able to taste the care and love that goes into a dish, that statement runs true for Amarith. Recommended Items I've tried include: Breakfast Burrito Can be made with your choice of meat. My preference is the sausage, especially since it's not the cheap ground meat breakfast sausage you're thinking. It's more like a gourmet sausage. With eggs, hash browns and cheese this burrito is big enough to share, but not super greasy. Ask for a cup of salsa to add on to your burrito! Breakfast Sandwich Can be made with your choice of bread. They have a variety of fresh bread loaves for sale too! My co-workers love taking these home to have as toast. Mocha Frappe The espresso in this drink is STRONG. If you're looking for a delicious, milky, strong, icy-cold pick-me-up this is definitely going to be your best bet. Milk Tea (Chai or Green) I love, love, love the milk tea here! It's really hard to find a place that will take the time to make a good cup of milk tea and most times when you go to your run of the mill Asian place, all teas are made in a vat ready to go. Well, not at Amarith. each cup of milk tea is made fresh! They're also happy to adjust if you need it stronger, sweeter or what-not. I highly recommend it, especially if you're looking for a change from your regular cup of joe. There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoor seating as well if you'd like to enjoy the weather. It's kind of confusing when you pull up because of the bank, parking, and office building look. Don't let that deter you. The food was so good and very reasonably priced. Found this place on Yelp, I'm always looking for new places to eat. I ordered a berry parfait and a Caesar salad, it was very delicious! The berries included a strawberry, kiwi slice, and fresh blueberries. The yogurt was a nonfat vanilla, very creamy and also some granola to top it off. As for the salad- I wish the lettuce was a little better but the house dressing was very good! They have such a large variety of foods I will definitely be back! read more

I order though doordash.com (third party delivery service) I wanted some breakfast. I have never heard from this cafe but it was the fastest thing to order. I got a ham and egg croissant with grilled peppers, tomato and mushroom. The croissant is huge soft and homemade everything was tasty just didn't like the egg but I can be picky with eggs It just need some salt on the veggies. I also got a Iced latte vanilla witch is so bomb!! It is really creamy and sweet. I paid $22 for everything but the delivery and tip was like $8. I just wanted to try it out.
