I am guessing it was a slow day because there weren't many people inside. Which made it so much better to stop/ order and go. I got a large bowl. The large bowl comes with 5 protein. My to go place for poke. I'm getting large bowl with five proteins. Mostly tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, or spicy salmon, and shrimp. Sushi rice is well made, no problems, the rest of the veggie options do well. The people behind the counter are young but good servers. I can't complain when they portion the proteins. Overall vibe of the little shopping mall is cool and the parking is plentiful in the garage next to the mall. There are some other places around if you get tired of poke and also some dessert places and coffee. Good place for a lunch. read more

This shop is the best. I live in the Chino area, and since the closing of another poke shop, it's been tough to find good fish without needing to drive to Chino Hills. Thankfully, Amazing picks up the slack. Their weekly specials are always worth it, and their location near Stater Bros. makes a quick visit so easy. Service is always friendly and quick, and when they get busy, they make sure to refill whatever runs low, just so they have it ready. I tend to eat at home, so I can't speak to eating inside, but the atmosphere is quiet, relaxed, and the team behind the counter are always welcoming. I used to enjoy coming here, but the last two times I stopped in I have noticed a huge red flag. I don't believe the rice is being kept at a safe temperature. Last two times I've been served cold/lukewarm rice which indicates to me it's been sitting out for an unknowable amount of time. At other places the rice comes piping hot from the rice cooker. Not here, at least not anymore. Rice is extremely dangerous to leave out at room temperature and I don't want to risk food poisoning. I hope this issue gets resolved very soon. read more

It was my second time trying this place, and I think it's a decent poke spot. I ordered small poke bowl which comes with 3 scoops of protein with brown rice and spinach as my base. When I tried this place for the first time, the rice was cool so I was wondering if it was supposed to be cool since all other poke places I tried before had warm rice. Today when I ordered, the rice was cool again so I'm assuming that's their way of doing rice. I like my poke bowl with EVERYTHING on it, so I go all out :) All the ingredients are fresh, the store is clean, food portions are huge, and their service is excellent. It's the only Poke place I've been to without a military discount. Even though the manager replied to my review saying he would add a military discount, he deleted his promise! I was craving poke and I saw that this place just opened recently. The inside was spacious and clean. I ordered a small bowl which included three scoop of protein. I ordered three salmon for my protein. When they were scooping it though, their scoop was very small. Couldn't help but feel like they were a little stingy on the protein. However, all the topping I ordered filled up the bowl. I got the ponzu sauce and the spicy cilantro sauce. I actually like the spicy cilantro sauce a lot. Would recommend it if you want a slight kick to your poke. Overall, the bowl was good and was very filling. I just wish that the bowl wasn't 90% topping and only 10% protein. read more

Time to change the name. This is not "Amazing poke" this is mediocre poke at best. Walked in and was met with a strange vinegar smell. I kept telling myself they must have just cleaned. They don't have a kids bowl so I paid 14 dollars for a small bowl for a four year old that only eats rice, crab and salmon. The rice was mushy. The cucumbers looked off to me but I got them because i like the fresh taste and texture it adds to the poke. I opened up my bowl at home and to my surprise the cleaning smell followed my food home. It was the cucumbers. They tasted like someone tried to keep them from going bad by adding rice vinegar and mirin to them. The color and taste was so off putting. I make my own sauce at home, not even drowning the bowl in sauce could save this meal. Over all a very disappointing experience. The customer service was fine. No one else was in the restaurant aside from a couple employees and I'm guessing their family since they were sitting together. I like how small they cut the fish so you feel like you're getting more food. I just wasted 50 dollars on this meal so you don't have to. PLEASE I'm telling you now avoid at all costs. You're better off buying the ingredients and making poke at home. I will not be back. To the owners, cut your losses now and sell this place. read more

This most recent visit, I ordered one Amazing roll to go. I waited at least 15 minutes as there were 3 rolls ahead of me. The lady did inform me of the wait prior to ordering which I appreciated. However, once I got my roll it was disappointing. The roll was very small and there was not much sauce on it. On top of that, I paid just over $17 for this one roll (I did leave a 15% tip).
