I emailed Randy and 4 other countertop fabricator / installers requesting a quote as our Quartzite slabs that we wanted we had already purchased. Randy reached out to me very quickly, provided a quote that we were very pleased with, and we set the steps in motion. Amazonia was ready to start templating almost immediately, but we did not have our sink. Randy worked with our scheduling delay and measuring was done shortly after our sink was purchased. Antonio and David were great to work with for all the measurements, layout discussions, and then installation. I really enjoyed interacting with the team and the finished installation is beautiful. Randy and his team were absolutely great - Good communication, quick scheduling and showed up on time and the most important great execution on the install. We got quartz countertops and backsplash done by them. Two different teams worked on it and both teams were excellent. Their quality of work was impeccable. The countertop team came out quickly the same week for a template and made sure they understood exactly what we wanted. They also adjusted the quartz piece for our garden window on site after showing us what we asked for looked like - I appreciate that they were able to accommodate the changes on the day of the install. I don't expect them to work with masks the whole time they're by themselves working but only expect people to do so while interacting with anyone in the family, but still they were still wearing the masks the whole time - i appreciate this care shown for my family. The backsplash team also did a great job with the install taking our opinion on any choices we might have to make before they did the work. The backsplash we wanted had variations in the tile color from one tile to another but they made sure that there were no sudden shifts in tone and that it looked nice and uniform. Randy also ordered the countertop slabs and the backsplash tile from from MSI getting me a better discount than another company. Theyre not the most expensive, but they are a tad bit more expensive than some other "independent" fabricators/countertop installers but its definitely worth the professionalism and quality of the work. read more

I was so impressed with the reviews I saw on this company, so decided to go with them for new countertops in my kitchen and 2 bathrooms. However, I struggle to understand how they are so overwhelmingly positive. First of all, Randy could quite possibly be one of the most abrupt, rude, and unpleasant people I have ever had to deal with. Add to that the fact that I paid him thousands of dollars and you'd think you might get met with some level of politeness. Think again! I had a gut instinct from the beginning that he wasn't the nicest person to deal with, even though it will mostly be over text message as you'll likely never meet him. I was actually relieved by this to be honest as I found him unbelievably intimidating. So much so that I debated as to whether I should leave a review or not as quite honestly he caused me a great deal of anxiety. I figured I was looking for great work and not a friend, but I regret the day I ever decided to use him! Given that I feel I was completely bamboozled by all the good reviews I figured I would try to post my honest experience. The job was okay, the caulking left a lot to be desired, he sent someone back to fix it, but it still wasn't right.. I ended up getting my own person at additional cost as I didn't want to deal with him anymore. His attitude is really something and believe me I am holding back. The brand new sink also isn't flush, but I will live with it. The cuts for the new stovetop were off and created a bit of an issue for the stove install. Today I went to the side of my house and there's a big piece of left over quartz from my kitchen - this time I had to text him as what am I supposed to do with that? Additionally, I expected the place to be messy but didn't expect to have to get up gobs of adhesive or caulk that was the wrong color off the countertops. Be very careful when being swayed by all the positive reviews, it seems more than ever that Yelp isn't as reliable as it used to be. What a complete disappointment. The two stars are for the work because they were mostly nice and after I got it caulked properly and cleaned all the excess sealant off, it looks alright. read more

Demo was easy and they did a good job of cleaning up after. Waiting during fabrication wasn't the easiest, but to be expected. Installation went smoothly, and overall we were happy with the job. After a couple weeks, I reached back out to Randy about retiling our kitchen backsplash. He had his guy out that week, who ripped out the old tile, repaired the walls, retiled and grouted in 3 days. We had our kitchen done 8 years ago, and the final result was acceptable but not great. Randy is basically a rude, arrogant person who was not great to deal with. 8 years later, our waterfall separated which is very disappointing and despite his original quote as well as every email from them clearly states that it is expensive to hire an amateur and that they offer a lifetime guarantee on their workmanship. When we tried to reach out to him he was responsive but very defensive and instead of standing behind his work and making things right he immediately started saying that he had no record of doing our kitchen and that it must have been more than 10 years ago and we would have to pay to get this fixed. After providing receipts that it was less than 10 years he was still insistent that we would have to pay.
