After an incredible third visit I felt compelled to leave a review -- this is a world-class restaurant! It is clear from the moment you walk in that every aspect of the experience is carefully curated. The staff operates with the efficiency of a well-oiled machine while also being exceptionally warm and personable. Julia took wonderful care of us on our first visit and she was so knowledgeable and accommodating. We were fortunate to dine with Nick the bartender our last two visits -- beyond his charming, attentive service, watching him craft what seemed like a hundred+ cocktails is truly mesmerizing. This is for the Bar/lounge area. We arrived around 3.30pm first stop on progressive dining. Music was playing loudly, we confirmed it was Pandora and the staff agreed with us it was inappropriate and unpleasant but did nothing. The Angel Eggs ($14) were a B+ but a little too crispy for our taste. NOLA Royal Reds ($18) were a waste of Royal Reds. Perhaps just a little sauce would have paired but this was more of a soup dish. The Conundrum white blend ($9) was delicious but unfortunately the ambiance could not keep us there so we moved on. It's always a risk going in early to Happy Hour but it is also a good test of staff commitment. This was overall a Pass and nothing more. read more

When I was a child, Ambrosia was a fruit salad that your Great Aunt brought over for Thanksgiving. A tepid mix of orange and grapefruit slices with some exotic shaved coconut. If she was feeling particularly festive, some maraschino cherries topped it off. I will quickly assure you that this 30A establishment is not your Great Aunt's idea of the food of the gods. Let winged footed Mercury share the news; this fine resturant is serving Fruits de Mer brought fresh from the emerald depths of the gulf, impaled on the three tined fork of Poseidon to the table. Hermes would take pride in the quality and presentation of the high grade beef served as well. Bacchaus would revel in the fine wine offerings and he would be mightly tempted to stray from his fruit of the vine towards several of the fine craft cocktail offerings. Themis would be extremely proud of the fine service offered here (Harrison was our server - he gave great personalized service). The resturant is beautifully decorated for an elegant evening. Outside more casual dining is offered as well. We started with the Seafood Plateau. I will say, even though I've never been a chiveche fan, it was quite spectacular. The scallops with champagne foam were a delight. The fresh lobster, king crab, shrimp, and oysters mignotte were fabulous. We followed up with a beautiful New York Strip prepared to perfection. Was at a reception for my granddaughter Oct. 18 and this restaurant and bar was great. The orzo was the best I have had, and the Greek potatoes were out of this world. I could have ate those two items and been very happy. My wife had the salmon, and she said it was great. read more

We tried this restaurant for the first time for our wedding anniversary. We made reservation for dinner. The inside was very nice and I really liked their ambiance. We started with their crab cake appetizer and lobster bisque soup. Both appetizers were average to me. I didn't care for them even though they came recommended. The crab cake appetizer was just okay. I didn't find them to be the best. They serve a complimentary champagne toast and we ordered a bottle of that champagne because it was good. I liked their old fashioned with woodford reserve bourbon the most. It was very good and I would order it again. For the main course, we went with the filet petit and red snapper. I frequent many nice steakhouses, and this is the BEST addition to 30A. It's more than time that this area has nice restaurants that the quality of food and service match the price tag. This takes the cake. My husband and I both ordered filet steaks and Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. All great! For dessert we got the molten lava cake -- this was AMAZING and a must get. The service was great quality and they weren't rushing you out. There's a few other places in town where I enjoy the food but they just want to turn your table. We will be back!!! read more

Everything about here was fabulous!! Drinks, appetizers, soup, salad, and entrees were all amazing. Our server, Kent, and his sidekick, Kevin, kept us all entertained and it was just what we needed. We will definitely return. The only downside was how hard it was to get an Uber/Lyft home as they have cellphone usage blocked off. We even asked people at hostess stand to help us and they wouldn't. We had the wagyu bread which I liked but wife said some of the fat was chewed but she doesn't like meat like that lol. The ceviche was ok but I had better at other restaurants. I think this is an amazing addition to 30a. As others have said, it is fantastic that they take reservations. It's an upscale place and you won't find hordes of people waiting for a table. An option is to go eat at the bar. But note that by 6 pm, it may already be packed. They do have a decent wine list, but there are no French or Spanish reds. They carry mainly California wines. They were out of their broiled oysters. The scallop appetizer was very good but didn't come out very hot. I have a friend that would have immediately sent it back because it was lukewarm. We love that there is an option for a burger, however, it came out the wrong temperature. We asked for medium rare and it came out medium to medium well. Apart from these issues, we really enjoyed the restaurant. We will definitely be back! read more

We were celebrating our belated anniversary and had an amazing dinner at Ambrosia. Service was top tier, from the Hostesses to our waitress, Lynn. She provided great service with a beautiful smile. Since we were celebrating our anniversary, they gave us complimentary glasses of Prosecco which was a nice touch. To start, we had the Shrimp Cocktail and Baked Oysters. Both were cooked perfectly and the oysters were the best I've ever had! My husband got the Taste of 30A and I got the Waygu Zabuton with Brussel Sprouts and Mushrooms as our sides. My husband really enjoyed his Taste of 30A but the star of the show was the Wagyu Zabuton! It was rich, buttery and just melted in my mouth! It went perfectly with our bottle of the Ken Wright Cellars Pinot Noir. We ended the night with the Crème Brûlée, which was creamy and delicious so no surprise there. This place was absolutely amazing. Two employees, Victoria and Jason were so kind and so generous in their actions. My father spilt the wine and they were so empathetic about it. The N.Y Strip was absolutely amazing. It was very well cooked and super juicy. I've been to many steakhouses in my lifespan, but this restaurant is 100% one of the BEST ever. I have been to all the nicer restaurants in PCB and the 30A area. None can compare to ths one if you are looking for "beach fine dining." The place is beautiful. The dining room is more contemporary and the bar area is more traditional. I have dined in both depending on my mood-bar area is very nice and upscale. I have never had a bad meal here. The overall atmosphere is clean and very family friendly, seemed like a reservation is needed. The staff were very accommodating and attentive. We heard negative things about the food around Rosemary Beach, and I tried to do my research on all the restaurants and this is where we ended up. First thing i saw walking in was the raw freezer and it had 2 fish and a few stragglers of stone crab claws. A little concerning to the point it would've been better to have nothing on display. We mainly came for oysters and the raw ones from murder point were fresh and yummy. The Nola broiled styled ones were good but underwhelming. As frequent goers of New Orleans we had high hopes but they definitely fell short with unseasoned butter and no cheese. Everything was going well and I thought we beat the stigma of Rosemary but then the main entrees came. We split the ribeye and lobster mac n cheese. The crust on the ribeye and the temperature were to my liking but the quality of the cut of the meat was subpar and lacked flavor. The lobster mac was very disappointing some of the most flavorless mac n cheese I've come across, tasted more like pasta with no cheese. The lobster was cooked well but felt separate from the mac like they didn't belong together. The desert options were very generic and options that you'd expect to see at a big chain. So i kind of gave up and just decided to get the lava cake because I knew that couldn't be messed up. Would I come back? Probably not, unless there was a change in the back of the house. But I fully expect this place to thrive until quality competition comes into town because the food of Rosemary is indeed underwhelming. read more

An anniversary dinner here did not disappoint. Though the restaurant has only been open 6 months or so, they seem to have worked out the kinks. There's ample parking and it is easily accessible. We were greeted warmly and wished happy anniversary at the front desk (based on the reservation questionnaire). The interior is stunning. We were presented with some bubbly to toast our anniversary. The staff is extremely well trained and courteous. My only negative is our service was painfully slow. We ordered Caesar salad and harvest salad. They were both excellent. Our waitress said everything on the menu could be made gluten free, which makes things marvelous for a gluten free eater. Hubby had the New York strip, I had the grouper. Both were fantastic and generous portions. We ordered the loaded mashed potatoes and it was more than enough for two. This is a pricey spot, but the experience lives up to the cost. We came to Destin for a two week trip. While we were there we found this restaurant. It was such a delicious experience & customer service is above & beyond!
