The whole mall and theater really feels like something straight out of the Backrooms. Not in a good way, either haha. On top of that, I came here specifically for the IMAX experience, and they had the volume WAY too high. I get "immersion" and all, but it was physically painful at certain points. amc eastridge use to be the shit but now it looks so run down. the chairs are all ripped up and do not feel clean at all. i can see why it's only overpopulated with kids from high school. my friends and i went here to watch obsession because the time worked for us ... i usually go to cinemark at the roe so i was not very ecstatic seeing how the seats where. by golly, you can't even recline your seat at all. there was no tables that you can swivel to use to enjoy your meal. it just wasn't comfortable at all. i gave two stars because i actually enjoyed the hotdog more than i do at cinemark + the butter station is self serve. i honestly would never come back to this amc ever again after this last one. i'll try mercado and if that doesn't work, i'll just stick to cinemark. read more

AMC Eastridge is my go to theater for all my movie watching. Its helpful that I have a Premier Stubs membership that is a very good deal if you love going to the movies. If you enjoy a cocktail with your movie your in luck because there is a bar near the concetion stand. Grab your popcorn and your drinks and set of a fun movie experience. The drinks here can be on the stone side so use caution or share with someone. Deducting one star as some of the theaters need some updating and resrooms need to be serviced. read more

IMHO Came to see "Downton Abbey" with a friend. Customer service at the ticket desk was friendly and helpful. Theater was clean. Movie was good. I took pictures of the snack dispenser machines. I couldn't believe the prices for these items. $5.80 for a bottle of Dasani water, $6.30 for a can of Monster Energy drink, $5.80 for Coke, $6.30 for a bag of chips or bags of candy. Yikes! Will I return? Sure! It's my neighborhood theater and it's clean. read more

I've come twice this year to experience their IMAX theater(which you would think they would take care of) and the first time there was a piece of mold on my pizza and this recent time I came to watch the Odyssey just to find a CONDOM WRAPPER ON MY SEAT. Not my favorite AMC location by a long shot BUT it was the only one near me showing the Stranger Things finale that I was able to find a seat for. It was actually quite organized, I have AMC A-List so I get to stand in the short line for snacks and they were super quick and efficient. The theaters themselves (specially the one I was in) are in need of a major upgrade, the seats don't recline and it's pretty tight between the rows. read more

It seems weird to rate a movie theater, but I have to say... AMC really disappointed me. Located in a mall, parking is abundant and free so there's no issue there. They have a bar in the movie theater and had enough people working the food counter for the Friday night rush. Their condiments are all on display so you don't have to ask anyone for sauce or salt or anything which was great. Where's my issue then? The seats. Most of the seats in my theater had questionable stains on them and a few scattered popcorn throughout which made me question if this was clean after the last showing or if this is just how AMC theaters are in general. Overall, I was able to watch the movie I wanted because they were one of the few theaters that were showing it, but I felt grimy sitting in the theater and won't be coming back anytime soon. read more

This really is a massive complex and well staffed but the seating needs a renovation as the competitors in town have the full recline seats where these don't even sway. I did appreciate the large screen and grand rooms which improves the experience. Bathrooms and main areas very clean. There is a food court just outside entrance which can be helpful if times wisely. Eastridge Mall seems a bit in trouble with one of its anchors vacated but for those looking for a quieter space with no parking issues this might be perfect. read more

It's the closest and largest theater in san jose. If you go at specific time, then the cost is very low. most of the screening literally have no one in there so you can get to choose which seat. Do not buy tickets online because it is so expensive. Just go there on the same day and buy it. Remember, choose the correct time that no one goes. read more

Sasquatch Sunset currently has limited movie showings (few theaters and few showtimes), so we ended up here on a Sunday night, even though I am aware of its shortcomings from prior visits. The theater has its pros and cons, but these are just some noteworthy observations from our experience this past weekend. Easy parking at the mall, guests are not allowed to alter ingredients for specialty cocktails on the drink menu at MacGuffins bar (but at least the drinks are tasty), they have self serve butter dispensers for popcorn and freestyle soda machines for customizing drinks, sticky floor and messy counters during our recent visit, about a quarter mile walk to auditoriums 13-15 from the lobby and concessions stand, artwork of decades of movies on the walls, no reclining seats in the standard auditoriums, and a lot of the seats were kinda dirty/stained and quite stiff as well. I've seen worse though, so it didn't faze me... but still worth noting, and part of the reason I usually try to avoid this theater since there are so many better ones out there. read more

I remember when this was the spot to go to in San Jose when it was brand new in early 2010's lol. Let's start with the good: - has decent variety of films - convenient location The bad: - dirty. Last time I went trash was filled outside of theater, bathroom dirty & theater itself dirty - most theaters don't have reclining seats - it feels run-down If you want a nice AMC theater, go to AMC Mercado. If you want reclining seats & do not want to drive then Cinemark Oakridge has them. The arcade is okay but if you really want some arcade fun before the movies, there is Round 1 nearby. read more

Before COVID, I used to go to the movies all the time, especially for sci-fi and horror flicks. But once the pandemic hit, that all came to a stop. Fast forward to 2025--I received an AMC gift card from a coworker and thought, "What the heck," and booked a 10:15 PM showing of 28 Years Later. When I got to the theater, I grabbed an alcoholic beverage and headed to my assigned auditorium. At the entrance, there was a sign warning that the theater was kept cold and advising guests to visit customer service for a refund if it felt too uncomfortable. As soon as I walked in, I felt the temperature drop--it had to be at least 10 degrees cooler. It was definitely uncomfortable, and I started wondering if I could actually sit through the whole movie. Then I looked at my drink and thought, "Shoot, I'm not about to waste this overpriced cocktail." So I decided to tough it out. When I got to my seat, I realized I was in one of the older auditoriums--no recliners, just the classic stiff chairs. I immediately thought, This is going to be a long one. Sure enough, I only made it about an hour in. Sadly, the buzz from my drink wasn't enough to battle the freezing air and the discomfort of those old seats. This AMC is in Eastridge mall. There are a lot of parking and a food court right in front of AMC. If you come early, you can walk around in the mall and eat some food while waiting. This isn't a bad AMC but its facility is on the older side. You only get recliners for Dolby cinema and even those recliners are old. I noticed the arm rest's covers are ruined. Besides Dolby cinema, you only get normal seats for other types. I think they should upgrade the seats here. With that said service is good and the restrooms are clean. read more

AMC Eastridge 15 is located at the shopping center as there is a separate area of entrance where those whom are arriving to watch a movie can park in garage area. But, you can honestly park anywhere you choose to area the area just you going to walk more of distance if you decide to. I have AMC theater app so normally I purchased my tickets ahead of time online. No hassle of having to wait in line. Bar code is provided on app and vise text to your phone so you can just show it either for yourself or guest when you arrive. Normally I do transport myself using personal translation to movies, at times I would be accompanied of a guest. Mostly even then tickets would be purchased online via apps. Seating arrangements are picked you can order ahead if any snacks or anything else might want to include candy, ice cream l, popcorn . December 5, 2025. Zoolander 2. There was a child in the movie crying and explained to the manager (Martha). asked for a refund but said the movie had started and was over 30 mins. However, that was all previews and commercials. People were upset and some ppl walked out. this wouldn't happen in an AMC of a different part of town (Just sayin) she said no refund! for kids crying! Manager Martha! ‍‍ PS - as A disclaimer, the parents did try to get a refund and walk out with their 5 kids. They were told no! So we all had to suffer! Who appointed Martha the manager??? Ginormous theater with lots of space on the hallways. Associates are very nice and helpful. Located right outside the food court. For theater 9, seats are kinda nasty so wear long sleeves and pants to it. Not a lot of walkway room for people passing through. read more

Maybe to deter you from the fact that although they've upgraded their hallways and added a bar you won't notice how uncomfortable and dirty them theatre seat are. Have been to this movie theater a few times before. Yesterday, came to see Bad Boys 4. We noticed the mall was warm. When we walked into the theater so was it! Half way through the movie my husband was tired of me fanning myself with one of the cardboard trays and so he went and reported it to staff. They finally turned it on. Then someone came in with their dog. Whom barked and charged people as they came in. If you're gonna bring your dog, sit away from the entrance when you know your dog is protective of you, or better yet don't bring them at all. read more

This was our go-to theatre. Close to our house and convenient but I will never again go to watch a movie there. During our last visit, a very active and healthy mouse kept coming up and down the stairs inside Theatre 3. My aisle seat gave me a perfect view of this very brave rodent. After I left and informed management, they were not shocked and very quickly offered a refund. Arrived here on a Sunday afternoon around 3 pm to watch a movie with a friend. There's ample parking near the theater entrance so you don't have to worry; all you have to do is walk a bit if there isn't parking spots close by. Most convenient to order tickets online, so you can skip the line and just have your tickets scanned and be on your way. The line for snacks and drinks were too long, so didn't even try to line up. Nonetheless, the movie theater itself was clean and great acoustics since we sat in the middle center. It's great to see how they're enhancing the movie experience with higher quality chairs that recline and heat up! read more

My high schooler likes to go and enjoy movies with friends. Something g for young kids to do.

I have been to this movie theatre several times over the years and it's decent. Pretty standard prices, but it doesn't have all the snazzy features that other theatres have nowadays. Don't expect any heated or recliner seats here. The seats are luckily reserved though. My most recent visit: I came to see Stargazer: Astroscope, which is a k-pop documentary about ASTRO. They are a very popular boy group and created this movie to document their recent showcase and MJ's enlistment to the military. I would have never guessed a Korean documentary would be shown here, so I was very happy and excited. Overall, no problems with the audio or display. However, there was one specific lightbulb above us that didn't dim when the movie started! So the entire theatre was dark except for my section of the theatre... Very unfortunate, but I still enjoyed the movie nonetheless. read more

First time coming to AMC Eastridge 15 and it did not disappoint! It is much larger than the other AMCs I've been too and they have a lot of cool posters and images from old movies adorning the front and hallways. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the auditoriums are very spacious (though all the regular auditoriums have the standard non-recliner seats). What I like about this AMC (and the reason I went on this occasion) is that they show Vietnamese movies, which I really enjoy watching! This is also the only AMC (that I've been to) that still has arcade machines in the lobby area, which is pretty cool! I took pictures of all the machines they have in case that's something you're interested in. Overall, I will definitely come back to this AMC in the future! read more
