Exceptional service! Michael, Sandy and Cassie are fabulous! The level of attention and service is what you would experience at a high-end steakhouse. This is my favorite local burger spot! I always get my burgers well done since it is ground beef. The patty is always juicy never dry not over seasoned, with a beautiful charbroiled flavor. We had a pastrami burger with grilled jalapeño and onion, fantastic! It was the perfect symphony of flavors. My bf ordered the guilty burger and I ordered just the classic cheeseburger. We also ordered a side of garlic fries! It wasn't too long until our garlic fries came in. These were actually really good! They were the crinkle cut type of fries and they were extremely crispy. Very generous with the garlic as well! They also gave us this ranch sauce (?) to complement with it. It honestly tasted like eating sour cream and onion chips when you taste the combination lol. Then our burgers shortly came after. Looking at mines first glance, it does look kind of standard, so I had high hopes for that maybe it tasted better than it looked. It did not lol. It was a very very standard burger. The buns were also not warm at all, and everything tasted like it was a slightly slightly colder than room temperature. The patty itself was the only thing that was warm. The ingredients felt like nothing elevated each other. It doesn't taste like a premium burger which it should have been. My bf also agreed about his burger as well. It tasted like just ingredients put together, but nothing really tasted that elevated. We were honestly pretty disappointed with the burgers here. Overall, I would have given the burgers maybe 3/5, but the garlic fries and the service here is 5/5. This was our fastest lunch yet! Although, they really should reconsider about their burgers. Came here on a Saturday evening. Parking was ok. I had to park over a block away. This is a smallish place with inside seating and some sidewalk tables. It has a rustic vibe. Lots of mirrors and exposed brick. Fairly clean. Visible crumbs on surrounding chairs and floors. There was no wait for a table. A friendly, helpful server took our order immediately. We ordered the pulled pork, mushroom Swiss burger and plain French fries. I was told that the pulled pork tasted good. It was topped with a lot of tasty slaw. The mushroom Swiss burger was hard for me to eat. The buns were saturated. To me it was extremely greasy. I had ordered my burger medium well since I am currently restricted from eating underdone beef. I got something very pink, medium. The burger did not have a lot of flavor. The crinkle cut fries were ok. We ordered these separately and shared since neither sandwich came with a side. The waiter dropped the check and asked how everything was while he was walking away. My response was that it was so so. He did not inquire about why my response was that. For me to have the burger that I ordered with fries and a soft drink it is over $27. Vibe; The restaurant interior has some cool decorations and artwork. Outside (I didn't sit there, too cold, weather) seems real pleasant, peaceful and charming. Menu; Generic, yet dedecent enough. Burgers, Salads, Wings, Chicken, Sandwiches, Drinks. Staff; Inefficient (see below), but pleasant and friendly enough. Bad: Prices; They offer no combo options on their Sandwiches or Burgers, so it's a poor-value ala carte menu. Basic Cheeseburger & Fries is roughly $22. Soft drink is an additional $4.50. With Tax? $27. Outrageous! Service; Atrocious. I was dining inside (small dining area with every table within eye view of the entire restaurant) and I sat for 13 minutes waiting for ANYONE to approach me. It was NOT busy. Service; I asked my server if they charge Ranch for my fries. I was told no. They charged me anyway. Another example of poor service standards and lack of awareness Pettiness; I ordered a plain Cheeseburger with pickles only. I saved them the Lettuce, Tomato & Onions food cost. And, they had the audacity to charge me for the Pickles. I was shocked. Seriously? Who does that? "Thanks for saving us the cost of those onions, tomatoes and lettuce. My two sons (age 20 and 10 respectively) liked it too, so definitely kid/young adult friendly. If you're going to doing in with more then 4 people, I do recommend calling to give them a heads up.
