This place is AMAZING. The staff are unbelievably kind and friendly, and OMG the food! I love sweet potato fries, and AG's are perfection. The burgers are one of the best I've had, and I love that there were SO many variations of craft hamburgers. My dad has the shrimp salad, which he declared was fresh and delicious. My two sons (age 20 and 10 respectively) liked it too, so definitely kid/young adult friendly. If you're going to doing in with more then 4 people, I do recommend calling to give them a heads up. We were a party of 6, and they had our table ready when we got there. The location in Old Town Tustin is so charming and the little restaurant has great vibes. The service here was spectacular and everyone was super attentive with refills and anything we needed. Food wise- we got the bacon blue cheese burger and the Antonio burger, which both tasted great. The star of the show were the garlic fries, which were an absolute must. Stopped by here after a pottery class within walking distance. I had no expectations, the place was empty and it was around 3:30pm on a weekday. However, we were instantly greeted with great and friendly service! Our waiter was very kind and let us know that they had chili on the menu today, which sounded delicious, so we were like, count us in! We ordered the chili fries and he asked if we wanted onions on it--we requested grilled onions. It was absolutely delicious. I got a kids meal since I wasn't too hungry and just wanted a snack, and I was impressed even with my simple kids meal! (to be fair, I am a sucker for watermelon). It's only after posting my pictures that I'm reminded I'd been a few years ago, never completing my original draft, in which I described their wine glasses as super spotty; we didn't order wine this visit so I can't confirm if that is still the case. What I can report is that then and now, their fries are generous and tasty. I very much enjoyed their Jalapeno Cheddar Burger (attractive in presentation, full of colorful ingredients -- and you can order as many complimentary spreads as you'd like!); hubby liked his AG French Dip. While the food and service is generally pretty good here, my most recent time was not the best. The reason for the four stars being we ordered the green bean fries as an appetizer and they never came out. We followed up with the server two separate times and once again never received them. By the time we finished all our food and were ready to pay she asked if we still wanted them which was confusing as we weren't sure why they never showed up. They have other options and they looked great and smelled better but I stuck to the original. I've been here before and we've never ran into this issue, but the food isn't the same. I mean everything tastes fine but my stomach wasn't too happy with it. Service was okay. Had the perfect amount of fat in my opinion, she would've preferred less fat. I didn't try the potato salad or slaw. My friend said the slaw was really good but thought the potato salad had a lot of sour cream in it and wasn't her thing. The bread pudding was delicious, though it was a litter more dense than I expected. That didn't take away from the taste though. I'll definitely go back to try other menu items and would recommend it as well. The location in old town tustin is slim pickings for parking, so watch for signs about where you can or can't park. I'm a very picky eater, but this place had so many great options it was actually really difficult to choose what to eat, luckily my family ordered other things I wanted to try and it was amazing.
