Mailing things under deadline can be stressful, but these guys know their work and get everything done with no fuss. Wow, if I could give this place a negative I would. I agree with Al's review, snide fits perfectly. If you want to throw your money away go here! They charged me $16.00 for a pack job (8oz package.) on a small box and wanted to charge $23.00 for shipping. Then he says snidely, that it won't be there until the end of the week. Total attitude on this guy. I declined and decided to go to the post office down the street. I ended up paying less than $8.00 for two day delivery. read more

I'm a process server and constantly on the road, when customers email me documents I stop by American Post N Parcel and have Raffi and Aida print it out make extra copies so I don't have to go back to the office or home to print it out. I have dealt with Raffi and Aida whenever I go there. They are two of the nicest people I have meet. I mail stuff from here also buy and send certified mail whenever I need it. I used to be a regular customer at this place. The employees are extremely nice. However, the owner is extremely disrespectful towards women. I emailed him a file to print and he was extremely rude and rolled his eyes at me. I asked him if he could give the email another look and he refused and kicked me out. I attempted to print something a few months a later and he began screaming at me when I entered the door and asked me to leave. At this time, I walked outside and another woman looked at me and said "that's how he treats women." read more

I'm quite surprised by the few grousy negative reviews. I've been using AmPost now for several years and find them priced fairly, especially considering their convenience and reliability. I suppose if you enjoy a 2 hour wait on a post office line, this might not be the place for you. The staff is always friendly, totally professional, and their location is right in the heart of Studio City. They've been taking very good care of me and my business for many years. read more

I'm shocked to see any negative reviews of the customer service here. I've been consistently treated with kindness, respect and efficiency and purposely go here for my shipping needs because it's so much better than the post office or the UPS store. I think they're wonderful. It is a little pricier, but worth it to not have to stand in a long line or receive the crappy, cranky service at the post office. read more

I have been a box holder for a little over a year now and the only thing I'm disappointed about is not having found it sooner. Raffi and Harry offer excellent, efficient, and very respectful. I send a lot of packages around the country to family. I'm very particular about the way I like to pack my items and after explaining it to them once, they got it down perfect! I am always very busy so it's such a relief knowing I never have to worry about dropping off a bunch of stuff and making sure they don't get mixed up or packed incorrectly or sent to the wrong place. Raffi and his staff are very honest and I never feel like I'm being cheated. The service is always thorough and exceptional and worth every penny. The store also has so many unique gifts and knick knacks, I have to stop myself from buying something every time I'm here. They do make great last-minute gifts, though! Best place in LA! Service is family like and their knowledge and skill level are the highest. It's a one stop shop. The guy who works here is a certifiable idiot. I had to go back three times to get him to correctly notarize paperwork, he either doesn't read very well or can only spell his name. On top of that he wanted to charge me again- for his mistakes!! Hilarious!! He is quite rude and the prices are ridiculous. The most rude place I've been to, someone needs to look up the definition of CUSTOMER SERVICE. I went in just to get general estimates for a business I run. I understood he couldn't get me exact prices and told him that. I was more there for general shipping costs, and comparing UPS versus FedEx versus Priority Mail prices. The main guy who seemed to be in charge was talking down to me and being very aggressive. Which was odd cause he wasn't even the guy who asked if I needed help. The main guy (who has the gray hair) decided to take it upon himself to "help" me. Sadly there was another customer there as well watching the whole thing. I told him I understood and walked out while he was still on his high horse. Not sure why he was such an ass, all I did was wait quietly and ask a simple question when asked if I needed help. What he didn't know is my business is very successful and the driving force is shipping my products. I recently moved to the neighborhood and wanted to find a new shipping place. I thought they would be great because I live very near to them. Oh well, he just lost out on a great new client. I only ship around 200 packages a month, and half of them are next day delivery to the east coast.... um yea do the math on that!! Apparently he didn't want to either read more

Sent someone to serve court papers for me by certified mail. It was obvious that the self addressed envelope was supposed to go in the papers being served. Nope 'genius' behind the counter ruined it by putting the paperwork in the self addressed envelope and putting a blank label over address. Comes back at me that " I did it wrong," in his little pretentious attitude. Facepalm* Really dude? Surely this can't be the first time someone has brought in court paperwork. No apologizes... Has a smug way of talking like he is better, then wants to charge me for his mistake. Wow. I've been here before and someone else was behind the counter and he was much more pleasant. This is the 3rd time they have lost a package of mine being shipped there-all showing signed for by them. Every time they claim that they never got the package and go from being very nice to extremely rude, defensive and confrontational with me. That is no way to run a business.
