We typically have not complained much as the crew at Forest Lawn has shown due diligence. But yesterday's trip was a bit of a shock. The site was all dried up and weeds are sprouting. No green grass and looking around find that it is looking all dried up everywhere. I know it is Spring and rainfall isn't up to normal. But what will it look like when summer is here?? Oh, I found Hearing Aids belonging to "Dave" (labeled), so I took it to the office. Forest Lawn can do better with watering the lawns and getting rid of weeds.

Our son touched so many lives and this mortuary made it possible for a large majority of our people to come together to express their love and appreciation for our son. White's Funeral Home was very efficient, great at explaining the process, and amazing with providing necessary updates. We opted to do a direct cremation and there was never a lack of communication between the funeral home and myself. Jennifer Carrillo was always available to answer my calls or any questions that came up during the process. Although the pandemic did place a delay on picking up my mother's remains, Jennifer always remained in touch with me and sincerely apologized for the delay. My family used White's when my father passed away in 2002 and I'm glad that I chose them again to plan my mother's cremation as well. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family in the future.

The owner personally took the time to walk me through the process of what cremation and funeral services would look like. I was so afraid of how my mother would look, the makeup done for her made her look like snow white resting. She was so at peace and it gave me tremendous closure and comfort to see her looking so beautiful after looking so sick at the hospital. Every detail of her services, we're touched with pieces of the ocean. I had mentioned to the owner how my mother loved the sea, when we walked in to her services it was a beautiful seascape, I was so blown away at the details, there were little sand bottles with her name, handprinted on them. These keepsakes are still in my living room, and I treasure them. I didn't have to do anything they helped withb all the details down to organizing our food in a buffett style. They provided an easel and huge picture of her, so when you walked in, you saw her beautiful face smiling. All I had to do was send in my photos, and they were printed and framed all throughout reception. They allowed us to put a playlist of her favorite music together and played it throughout the venue. There were tv's playing her picture video memorial. The memorial cards they printed on a nice quality photo paper, and I was able to choose several pictures to go on the back which helped me include all of my family I'm so thankful God led me to this venue. They were so flexible with payment as well and allowed me organize donations before final payment. Thank you so much Christal and team. Me and my family are forever greatful for your hospitality. Youd think at a time like this that wouldnt be an issue and you'd be more understanding. Since death waits for noone, things had to be rushed along because the next customer who wants going anywhere had to come in. Anyway the funeral was beautiful. An overflowed house. It sucks to see anyone younger than you go. Nice place. The grounds are well kept. If i was planning on being buried id consider this place.

We were asking simple questions regarding assistance for my mother-in-law's funeral and she acted like we were bothering her. She couldn't provide us any information, couldn't get us help from anyone else, and kept dumping us on hold for no reason. This was ridiculous and completely unacceptable, especially while we're grieving and trying to get basic support. The lack of empathy, professionalism, and basic customer service was shocking. No family going through something this difficult should have to deal with that kind of treatment. I would not recommend dealing with this place at all.
