    My wrap
    Jon B.

Ate there a couple times while staying at the Indigo hotel . It's a traditional NY Bodega with all the fixings. I got the egg wrap with chicken and veggies . Threw in a little hot sauce too . Couldn't ask for more . Excellent

Fairly priced and good breakfast in Financial District. I typically will come here on mornings where I start my day at court. It's located across the street from my office, and right in front of the Rector Street train station. The staff here is very friendly and quick paced. I mostly just get bagels here which are always good and fresh. Everything in the store is extremely neat and they do offer lunch, not just breakfast. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a reasonably priced breakfast in the area- you absolutely will not find the same treatment or price range at Exchange cafe across the street!

The place was great for grabbing a quick bite to eat. The service was impressive, and despite the challenges of making money in NYC, it served its purpose as a convenient spot for a snack.

Work around the area and this place is the go to for food. You can go to Pret, Starbucks, flavors and other places but expect to pay ridiculous prices. This deli has a little of everything that you're craving. The venue is always clean and organized so that's a good sign. Cashiers are friendly and cooks are very fast. I frequently get their sausage egg and cheese on a roll and they are cooked very well. Turkey sandwiches on hero's are banging too pretty loaded for the buck. Burger deluxe is good too. Comes with fries and is a big portion enough to fill me up on break. I haven't tried their salad bar but I'm sure it's good too. The buffet part has a lunch deal with is a good portion for a 6$ lunch, could def use more seasoning but again not bad for the price. Breakfast platters are good too, home fries could be crispier. There is a huge assortment of chips and grab and go items and even have fresh fruit daily. Overall this deli is your go to if around the area. I haven't checked if they sell beer, which would be great on a hot summer day without paying the crazy bar prices around the area.

Since this place is right across the street I decided to come here for my midday sugar fix. This place is always empty which is a bad sign. When I walked up to the register, the workers acted like they didn't want to work. I asked for a slice of carrot cake and they charge $5.38 for a small-medium sized cake that doesn't even look that good. When I took a bite into the cake it was dry and flavorless. Now I see why this place is always empty.

A simple deli with same tables offers a great food. Before I came here I was puzzled why this place has a such high rating on Yelp. When I came everything makes sense now. It offers Simple yet fresh food Amazingly good price considering the location Clean chairs and tables. If you in this city for visit, for first few days, you might justify the high food price saying well... this is NYC.. but after that you realize the reality that why do we have to that much money for this or that. This place brings you in reality and save you. Cafe latte under $3 Pancake breakfast for $6 That's what I am talking about. If you are going to the statue of Liberty and grab a quick bite before it. Stop by here and eat and save your bank account.

I can up this review to 5, as the food is consistently good, affordable, and the service always friendly. Their sandwich menu is consistently tasty compared to other local places. I distrust most delis and tend to stick with a singular sandwich (lest I ruin my whole day). But America's won my trust after I monkeybarred across their sandwich menu and was pleased every time. (DISCLAIMER: I am a sandwich SNOB. Like the aggravating kind. My friends hate me. Yall dont, though.) NOTE: They also enable my regular addiction to Peanut butter-Banana-Protein shakes. This cut my 15 minute walk (30 minutes both ways) to Fulton Street for a soy/almond milk base -- America's didn't carry soy milk, but they soon stocked their counter with it and now I drink it too many times a week. I've also started ordering juices from them - they're only a dollar or two more than the random stands around FiDi, but the quality is fresher. If anyone health-conscious or sandwich-particular works in the area, put Americas on your radar. They are stocked with vegan snacks, juices, smoothies, and fresh veggies.

Alfredo romano penne w/ broccoli. Weird and disappointing.

This is the main reason why I get food from here every once in a blue moon, like when they offer the buy one get one free special. That's when I really take advantage. The unique seating area is charming, though limited, and don't get me wrong, the wraps that I've tried so far were delicious! They're just not $14 - $17 delicious lol. The staff here are friendly and seem cool. They make the wraps right in front of you and it's quite a cool process to watch. Each wrap is made from a homemade dough, heated on a hot iron dome and then filled with fresh and one of a kind ingredients. All of the wraps are rich with antioxidants and made with natural ingredients. My favorites: Dire Wolf (fried chicken wrapped in ginger dough, lamb bacon, melted cheddar, green papaya slaw, spicy pickled shika peppers, wolf ketchup) The Beast (grilled steak wrapped in turmeric dough, bbq crunch, blue cheese, marinated green olives, cilantro, red chili mayo) They have opened several locations over the years since I first tried them. Because of their unique wrap concept I can understand why. There's definitely a niche for them in this super tough NYC restaurant business.

Huge sandwiches. Would recommend eating on a roll vs a wrap only because a wrap falls apart more…read moreeasily. Lots of flavors going on. Expected there to be a more accurate pho-palette, but the fusion is fun and appetizing nonetheless.

((4.5 stars)) Sunny…read moreand Annie's is very much a 24/7 neighborhood gem of a corner store and deli. it's packed with packaged foods--candy, chips, cookies, ice cream, soft drinks, beer, and a lot more plus the deli counter serves ups an endless list of creative sandwiches. i am not going to say this place is cramped but it kinda is. for example, if people stand in the wrong areas of the store, it will cause a complete standstill of a traffic jam in the store. my advice: order from the deli (and stand somewhere people aren't trying to get to) or grab whatever you need, pay, and leave. this place is not a place to linger. keep it moving. anyway, the obvious draw of Sunny & Annie's is the endless list of sandwiches that are handwritten cards that are stuck outside glass of the deli counter. there is literally something for the pickiest eaters--from hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, wraps, and more. some sandwiches are named celebrities, politicians, etc. i have ordered a bunch of different sandwiches and have not made it through much of the menu. you can also create your own Frankenstein monster of a sandwich. while the sandwiches are a big part of the draw, the insane amount of snack foods crammed into the store is quite remarkable from the large stand of Doritos, Takis, Cheetos and other popular branded snack foods in the front to the separate stand of Wise snacks to an entire back corner of the store filled with all kinds of chips, popcorn, etc. imo, Sunny's has the freshest-tasting Smartfood Cheddar Popcorn. i know an insane take consider it's a packaged popcorn snack from a megacorp (PepsiCo), but i'll die on this hill. maybe it's cause Sunny's sells a lot of Smartfood popcorn so it gets refreshed often, maybe they have a secret in/pipelinbe from the factory, or it's just magic/alchemy. i don't know, but the Smartfood Cheddar Popcorn never tastes stale-ish like it does at grocery stores, the bags never feel deflated because they have been on shelf long, and the popcorn never has that soft mouthy feel but still has the crunch to it. maybe it's just me, but Sunny's serves a great list of sandwiches...AND the freshest Smartfood Cheddar Popcorn. beyond the snacks, the service from the deli to cashier is upbeat and friendly. in all seriousness, Sunny and Annie's is an Avenue B institution at this point and remains a charming family-owned store--and is NOT a sterile modern clone of a neighborhood business.
