This is probably one of the quickest and most professional automotive experiences I have encountered. First, ordering the tires online is super easy. Next, when I got to the location, Baca quickly greeted me and checked me in to my appointment. The guys took the truck back quickly, and Tyler came out to give me an update when they were almost done. Then, Tyler drove the truck up front and handed me the keys when it was ready to go. Great service as usual from this location. I have purchased rims, tires, lug nuts, tire sensors, etc. Everything you can think of that relates to the tires/wheels I have had service on. From trailers, fifth wheels, boat trailers, SUV's, sedans, hybrids I've taken here. The manager has changed a couple of times I think, but they have been great with customer service throughout these changes. The regular techs also have changed quite a bit over the years, but again great friendly service. I especially like their Synchronny America's Tire card. You can pay for over 6 months on purchases over a certain amount. I don't know about you, but paying 500+ for a set of new tires is not something I like to do. Spreading it out over 6 months with no interest is great! Helps my credit and is not much of a blow to my wallet! But I like to maintain my vehicles especially driving down the Cajon pass. Too often you see blown tires and tire debris (semi-truck retreads I'm assuming) on the freeway. These are the things you are riding on with your family and others depending on how well you take care of them. Too bad they do not do alignments or other services, but I guess that's why service is quick and easy. They specialize solely on wheels and tires and do a great job at it. Everyone there was so patient with me this week as I had to return a couple of times to get the job done. My wheel lock was missing and they took the time to search everywhere for it to try and save me a trip to the Mercedes dealership in Ontario. They were prompt with service and appointment requests and are definitely champs to tolerate this heat with no qualms. Also saved a few hundred dollars by coming here instead of the dealership. We've had all of our toy haulers trucks and off-road vehicles taken care of by this location since they opened years ago; it's been great having a company like this one close to home that we can trust. Very excellent service. I bought new tires somewhere else. After about 3K miles I picked up a nail in one of my new tires. When I asked Americas tire store how much to repaire it they said they would do it for free if it was safe to do so. Not only did they repair it for free but they did it the right, safe way by putting a plug AND a patch in my new tire. Money is tight and they treated me waay better than I expected. Cant beleive it. I am the General Manager of an entity much larger than America's Tire and I have never seen such pathetic service. I walked in and a young gent proceeded to help me. I told him that I have a nail in my front passenger tire and that it is in the repairable area of the tire. The young man asked me what was the make and model of the car. He then proceeded to tell me that he could not fix the tire and that he would have to replace all four tires. His reasoning was that the tires are over 10yrs old. Nice sales attempt. Two issues: 1. Despite what some shops say, there is no law pertaining to tire expiration dates. ... The rubber trade association, as well as Michelin and Continental, said tires can be safely used for up to 10 years, provided the tread is not worn and there is no visible dry rot.Jul 5, 2017 2. Hello, I was advised that if the nail is on the tread and not the sidewall I could get it patched. I went into the shop and they looked at the back tire for over 5 minutes and told me they couldn't do the free repair. The nail was 1/4 inch from the tire wall. I got my keys back and went to Canos Tire shop to get it patched for $10. Drove over 50 miles and repair is fine. The free tire check is just a way to funnel in new tire purchases. I purchased tires at this location and they put new tires on without replacing my failed air pressure sensors in each rim that they knew were failed. They had me come back later to tell me it will be a cost of $298.00 to replace the sensors. The sensors only cost $6.00 each and while changing out old tires for new tires they could of added a cost of $60.00 max to replace all 4. Instead they put new tires without changing failed sensors that they knew needed to be replaced at the time of purchase. They had me drive my car with the new tires installed and knew that when I came back about the sensors, they knew they could scam me for a $298.00 charge to replace the sensors. I came for new tires since one had a nail in it. The first mechanic did say it could be patched up so for that, I appreciate his honesty! I still decided to just buy new ones. They were really busy but I was seen very quickly. As I waited, the mechanics here were so polite and professional. I was really surprised because this shop is right by the flats and surrounding shops/businesses are not as professional. They gave me a coupon for brake replacements at a different business. LIARS!!! They thought they could take advantage of a woman with 2 children. Little did they know, I'm not retarded and very educated in vehicle repairs. I wasn't near home or where I usually go for tire repairs, but I called 5 min before showing up to this shop. I spoke to Chris on the phone, I had told him I have a flat tire and I'm not sure if it's just my tire or my sensor. I asked the price and he said it would be free if they could fix it. I told him I was 5 min away and I'd be in, in 5 min. I showed up, Chris greeted me. Asked if he could have my key for an inspection, pulled my car into the garage and took a look. He came back in the waiting area where I was and gave me the results. My sensor was wrong, it went off for the wrong tire but he did spot a nail in my adjacent tire. He bends down and shows me a tire graph and explains that unfortunately the nail is in the "red zone" and it's not repairable. The "red zone" seems to be on the outer sides of the tire. I tell him, I won't be buying a tire. He says no problem, he'll top my tire off enough for me to get home. I was grateful for that. The next day, I had plans to go to Cano's tire shop in Hesperia, where I always go. Costs $10 for a tire repair there. So, I see my tire was low, but I have a compressor, so I filled it up. I saw the nail in my tire, it was LITERALLY in the middle of my tire, in a VERY REPAIRABLE location. I went to Canos and paid $10 for a tire repair. I'm not sure if Chris was trained to lie, or if it was all him, but this is down right disgusting. I will be telling the whole town to never come to this business. I wish I could give more stars. These guys saved the day. I hit a rock in the road after a day of snowboarding and had a blowout. The tire size on my SUV is not common. I tried 4 tire companies that said it was a special order, America's Tire was the only shop that had it in stock. On top of that it was already late and I wasn't able to get there until just after their close time. These guys were nice as can be and stayed late on a Friday night just to help me and my family get back on the road. If it hadn't been for them we would've had to find a place to stay and then spend half of Saturday sorting it out before the road trip home. I googled closest tire shop, they came up and even though they were closing in a half an hour. They offered to switch out my tire and put on my spare in about 15 minutes. I have been going to this business for years. I always get treated with respect and dignity. Recently I woke up one morning and found that one of my tires was flat. I filled up my he tire and drive down to American tire. The gentleman came out right away and greeted me and asked me what he can help me with. The tire was ruined. He asked me if I have the warranty and I did. I recommend to always get their warranty casue they will fix or replace your tire no matter what. The took it and 30 mins later it was replaced. They also rotated and balanced all my tires. I had a brand new tire so I bought another warranty on it which was only $29.99. They texted me and I was able to follow the whole process on my phone. I called around to various tire places today, starting with mom and pop shops, to see what COVID precautions they were taking. Every one I called made some sort of sarcastic or passive-aggressive comment about my questioning their COVID precautions, despite my explaining that I am high-risk. I finally called America's Tire and spoke with the manager, Aaron. He patiently and reassuringly explained what their COVID precautions are. I made a same-day appointment to get my tire checked. He said when I get there someone will come up to the car and direct me to a bay to park in. Everyone will be wearing masks and I will remain in my car for the service to reduce exposure for both me (the customer) and his employees. To make things even better, they don't charge to repair a flat! All of this sounded perfect! To make the story better, it all went just as smoothly as the manager had described! I got there a few minutes late yet was immediately directed to a bay by Tyler. He asked some questions to understand which tire was the issue, and then they just did their thing removing the tire, checking for leaks, finding the leak, patching the leak, reinstalling the tire, and then checking that it's holding pressure. It was super quick, everyone was friendly and wearing masks, and I felt incredibly safe since I remained in my car to reduce risk of exposure. They have this down to a science! I had to take my truck to Pep Boy's They put the tire on my truck for me even though I didn't even purchase it there. Customer service is everything these days.
