However, my recent visit left me extremely disappointed. I came in due to a slow leak in my tire. The initial technician who inspected my tire was professional and followed protocol by assessing its condition. He checked me in and asked me to wait inside. I then spoke with another employee, handed over my keys, and was told my car would be ready in an hour--great! However, after two hours with no call or text update, I returned to find out that I supposedly needed a new tire. I was told that the nail (or object) had damaged the sidewall, which would eventually lead to an air bubble and cause the tire to pop. This seemed suspicious and the situation felt like an attempt to upsell me rather than provide honest service. To verify, I took my car to another shop, where they easily patched the tire--without any mention of a bruised sidewall or potential failure. This raises serious concerns: either your employees lack proper knowledge, or they were deliberately trying to mislead me for profit. I hope this is not a sign that America's Tire is headed in the direction of companies like Pep Boys, which lost customer trust due to dishonest practices. read more

I went in yesterday to patch a hole in my tire from a large screw that got stuck. The service was prompt, even though there was a line and they were very busy. I forget the employees name, but he did a great job assessing the situation, making sure I knew everything I needed to about my tires (tread depth, dangers of old tires, etc.), made polite small talk as we were walking to and from the shop to my car, and making sure I had everything I needed before we started the service. I ended up extending my tire warranty to my back tires as well for only $30. When I walked back in about 10 minutes before my car was scheduled to be done, a different employee greeted me and kept me updated on my car's status, they even finished a little earlier than expected which was nice. 10/10 would go here again. read more

FUCK THIS PLACE!!!! Had an appointment for 2:15. Got here about 10 mins early. Walk-in comes in at 2:21. At 2:40 (25 minutes past my appointment time) they pull the walk-in into the bay before mine. I ask them about it. They tell me my car is set up to go into a different bay. Never happens. They finish the walk-in and guess what bay my car gets pulled into?!?!? Not a different bay! The same bay the walk-in was pulled into! Tony comes over and "apologizes" Spare me the lip service!! You want to come and "apologize" after the fact?! As soon as I called the issue out to you, the correct AND ONLY action should have been to back the walk-in out and pull my car in. Don't come at me with "I'm sorry" after you consciously chose to proceed with the walk-in. This place is a shit show. Employees can not grasp the concept of appointments and/or prioritization. Got a huge screw on my tire as I left work, had to go somewhere nearby to patch to go home. Came by here and it was really full, 20 min till closing, and still serviced with me and helped me out. The ETA wait time was a long time, but waited patiently. Plenty of seating in their waiting room. They finished the job much sooner than anticipated, I was explained what they found and did, once he explained everything, I asked how much I owed, let me know their business model here is to do tire patches for no charge ! We have had nothing but a great experience at America's Tires. I have taken in multiple cars and they are always on it. We did have an issue with a trailer tire and they ended up fixing and replacing right away. Joshua and another team member who took over while he was on vacation was so helpful and was able to pick up where Joshua left off. This was my second time at America's Tire/Discount Tire, and my appointment only took half an hour. They were a lot faster than their expected end time, which was an hour. This location is convenient because there's plenty of space to maneuver your car. Overall, the process went smooth. I purchased my tires online and was able to reschedule easily. They do ask you to confirm via text and even called me the day before to double-check the time. They let you follow the journey online, and you'll receive a text once your car is ready. Since I had a flat tire and a certificate that I purchased from them, they did honor that and repaired it. I believe Christopher was the employee that checked me in and printed out my receipt, and I don't know the names of the two workers that helped me out at the very end, but they were all very approachable and helpful. I appreciate the fact that they took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. I also considered Walmart (a former employee told me not to) and Costco (their parking lot is mania), but in the end, I'd rather support a business like this that accommodates their customers over a dealership. He was friendly, fast, efficient and explained everything to me. I have always gone to America's Tire for all my tire needs (I have the cert on all my tires). I had a screw in my tire and the actual tire needed to be replaced. No charge. I was in and out in no time. Joshua's customer service skills were exceptional. I was in need of new tires. I used to get my tires from America's tires all the time. My last set of tires came from Firestone because they had a better deal at the time. I regret making that decision because Firestone's sevices are not as great as America's Tires! I was between Costco & America's Tires this time. America's Tires went ahead & price matched with Costco. I signed up for their credit card & got an even steeper discount & I am able to make 6 month payments with NO APR! Making an appt & purchasing my tires was very easy. When I arrived at this location, the guys loaded my car up right away with hardly any wait time. They even pointed out something that happened with the last person who touched my tires! This will have to be another story. I was able to switch out my spare using one my old tires because I asked them to check my spare. Apparently Firestone never did when I had asked them to... the tread was ripping. I was having a terrible week, and that even included scraping my left side tires turning left too early at a busy intersection. While the tires seemed fine from a driver's perspective, I wanted to make absolutely certain they were still safe for driving. I was planning to go to Fullerton the next day, and there just so happened to be an America's Tire right off the 91 Freeway. This America's Tire is on the southwest corner of Euclid and Orangethorpe, but there's not a whole lot of parking in front. They do have parking in rear, but the line for complimentary air checks may get in the way. More on that later. Since I couldn't find a spot in front, I had to go around back to park my car. Thankfully, there was enough space between two cars in line for me to pass through. After parking my car, I went back around and opened the front door only to be met by a bunch of customers waiting in line. They were all over the place, so it was hard to tell who was next, but civility remained amongst the clientele. It took a few minutes before one of the employees, Gabriel, was ready to assist me. We went back to my car so he could take a look at the tires. While he did see my left side tires were scraped on the side, he didn't really see any issues and said the tires looked good. I appreciate that he wasn't trying to upsell me on anything, but I thought they would have at least taken my car into one of the garages to have a deeper look. No, he simply directed me to the free air check. I wasn't sure if I could have used the same alleyway to park my car in the first place, but he said I could and to watch for oncoming vehicles. Luckily, there were no cars coming my way, but as I was trying to pull into the free air check line, I saw a car facing my direction, and I pulled forward because I thought he was trying to get into that alleyway too. However, Manny, one of the employees, was motioning to me and letting me know that the other car was first. I didn't think that car was actually going into the air check line with how the car was angled, but the way Manny spoke to me made me feel like an idiot. I asked him what was I supposed to do, and he simply said to back up. Before I could respond, "And block the path towards the parking in rear?", he went off to assist the next customer in line. I had to reverse and cross my fingers that an angry driver wouldn't honk and curse at me for blocking the path even though Manny pretty much told me to. Fortunately, that didn't happen, but I really wish this was handled in a better way so that when it was my turn, I wouldn't have worried that he'd call me out again for trying to cut in line. Case in point, the line for free air checks can get really messy. It even spilled onto the main street when I pulled into the tire shop the first time. When it was my turn, Manny asked me to shut off the engine and open my door so he could scan my VIN. My name showed up in their system, and he did the air checks. There was a point where I thought he had to inflate the left side tires, but when I asked, he said they were still good even before I had pulled in. He remained professional to me while talking to me, but I did witness him yelling to his co-workers from a distance. I couldn't tell if it was work-related or not, but it didn't make the atmosphere very welcoming for me. So even though my visit here wasn't of much worth besides giving me peace of mind that my current tires are still safe to operate with, I wouldn't recommend coming here, even for a free air check. The employees didn't seem as courteous compared to the Signal Hill location, and I should have been aware of that when I gave them a call the day before asking if I needed to make an appointment; I was told I didn't need to. There are also a couple of America's Tire locations that will be opening close to me, so there's really no reason for me to return to this one in Fullerton. If this is the closest location to you, and you want a free air check, I hope you don't have to go through the hassle I did. If you are passing by while driving southbound on Euclid, don't be surprised to see the right lane getting blocked off by the line for the air checks. read more

Highly recommended! High efficient, professional, and staff is friendly. A big thanks to the mechanic Sebastian and another two staff. This morning when I was about to drive my Tesla Y, the screen showed me that my left front tire is losing a lot of air and it has a chance to get a flat tire. So I immediately drive to this America's Tire shop. It's only 3 miles from my house. I got into the front door about 9:40, I got a consultant right away and my Tesla got served at 10:10. That's very fast compared with a lot of places. I don't know anything about fixing the tires. What I saw is 3 workers taking turns working on the tire and the tire total went through 2 machines and 1 platform. They also add air into 3 other tires and shunning all the tires in the end. The whole process is finished at 10:45. took very efficiently. What happened was a small medal went inside the tire. After fixing, it will still last life long. I was so glad to hear that. read more

Our whole family have been going to Americas tire for years. Only had one issue the last time my husband brought my car in to patch the tire. I had a flat tire and my husband put air in it before bringing it to America's tire, but because they are backed up my tire sat there and became flat then they have to drive it flat to get it fix. Wasn't very happy about that part. They were always good and never have any problem with them. They have a very good price on the tires and it's nice that they rotate your tires at no cost. read more

I support and like going to America Tire but this location is terrible in term of professionalism and services. I do not recommend this location for the following reasons below. My car vibrate at high speed. I asked Anthony Cruz Di Monte does it needs an alignment or tire balance and he could not recommend me what to do. So I told him to do balance and check to see if alignment is needed. They completed the balanced but didnt check on the alignment. I waited 40 mins and they still didnt do it until I asked Tony and he said they have to take in the car arrived after me by 30 mins. I asked why would you do a car that arrived after me by 30 mins? He couldn't answer naturally and i can see in his eyes trying to come up a valid reason for not doing my car first. He then said If I want to have the alignment checked, I would need to wait until they finish the appointment car, which means I would have to wait at least another hour before they can just check to see if my car needs an alignment. I left paid $60 for a 4 tires balance they they did in 5 minutes such a rip off. I left and asked for the store manager business card and Tony again did not want to give. I had to fight my way to get the store manager information. In summary, why would anyone comes here when these guys have the "assistant manager" tittles and yet two of them could not be competent to offer the services. They guys are not helpful at all. Careless work with no sense of urgency when customers are waiting in the store. If you dont want your time wasted, go to another America's Tire. These guys has no caring on helping you. read more

Had a really great first time experience at this location. Pulled up for a free flat tire repair. I had scheduled an appointment online and the process was extremely easy. They went through the basics with me such as tire tread depth and they check the life of your wiper blades as well. They also offered a free tire rotation which I took because I'm due for one. Got there around 12:15pm and they had me done in about less than a half hour, 30 minutes earlier than their estimated time around 1:07pm. They value your time immensely even if they don't charge you for anything. Excellent customer service all around and I would for sure come again! read more

Ran over a glass bottle and shattering it to a million pieces in a parking lot the other day. Brought my car in here to have them check the brand new tires I had installed not long ago from a different place in Redwood City, CA, and to check if I had shredded my front tires. The service man (I forget his name, unfortunately) examined all four tires after pulling my car into a stall and lifting it up to inspect. Fortunately, found nothing wrong with the tires. The service was fast, but more importantly, the gentleman who examined the tires was very courteous, friendly, professional, and thorough with his work, and I felt assured my car was safe to drive back to the Bay Area that week. The man who helped me set the appointment, Luis, was also very courteous and professional, and polite. He kept me informed along the way. Having come from an automotive repair background, Luis and the service man who examined my car were not only professionals, but also very informative and friendly, with a smile. I wanted to commend these guys for their outstanding and exceptional customer service! I live in Riverside and was on my way to LAX and kind of running late. I was driving my husband's Lexus RX when I caught a flat while on the freeway. I exited the freeway immediately, and not knowing how to change tire or put air (I know, I know), I decided to look for a tire shop. America's Tire was less than a mile away so I drove my vehicle with about 12 psi on my rear tire. As soon as I parked, I was met in the parking lot by a staff. He did a quick safety check on all my tires and in less than a minute, he spotted the large nail in my tire. They took my car in and thankfully, it did not need to be replaced. I was probably in and out of there in no more than 15 minutes - I felt like a Nascar driver with how quickly they worked on my car. They did not charge me. Free. Free! I was very humbled by this experience. There are very few businesses these days that still operate with honesty and integrity. I highly recommend this place for the work that they do. read more

I said i'd take it. then when printing out the invoice, stated it included a tire certification, tire fee, disposal fee and installation, and then gave me the total price. I paid for it, asked how long it'll take, 45min - 1 hour. said ill wait in the waiting room. after coming home, and looked at my receipt and was curious what 'tire certification' was. googled it and it was basically buying insurance for your tire. https://www.americastire.com/certificates - If your tire fails due to a non-repairable road hazard or manufacturer defect, Has more than 3/32" of tread depth and Is within 3 years of purchase date - We'll refund the full purchase price with applicable sales tax. He understood what the issue was, stated that he could offer me a refund for the tire cert over the phone reading off my CC number, or go there in person to the store. for $17, the price wasn't the issue, but the principle of the matter; shoehorning an optional service/product w/o specifying that it was optional, all the while never stating it was his fault for not mentioning that it was option. i've been coming to this specific location for several years, having several diff cars serviced, always had excellent service and respectful staff. Bought 4 tires through their website. Spent 2000 dollars on them. Brought the wheels down to have them mounted. One of the wheels got damaged while mounting the tire. Nobody there made me aware of it. Drove home about 5 miles and noticed the chips in the wheel. Wheels are very expensive. If they would have told me at the time it may have not been so bad. They were trying to get away without me noticing. They did an ok job fixing it but offered no written warranty on the repair. How can you trust a company like that. I've been here three times: once to get a flat tire patched up, once to get all four of my tires changed, and another to pull a nail out of my tire. I'm not great at asking or remembering names but every guy that's helped me here has been incredibly kind and helpful. The waiting area is very clean and they have outlets if you'd like to do some work, though every time I've been here my car has been ready way faster than expected so I never get much done anyways.
