Transmission Scam - Stay Away brought my 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer to this shop on December 7, 2024, for a full transmission repair or replacement. After being charged $3,900 and waiting nearly four months, I finally got my car back in March 2025--only for it to break down again just 15 days later. I returned to the shop, but they refused to take responsibility or acknowledge the issue. I then took my car to Sunny Hills Auto Service in Fullerton, who confirmed through a professional diagnosis that the transmission was never properly repaired--it was still the main issue, just like before. I'm now out $3,900 for nothing, plus an additional $150 l had to pay for the diagnostic. When I requested a refund, the owner flatly refused. This is completely unacceptable and feels like a scam. I've given them a final opportunity to resolve this matter by refunding me the full $4,050, but if not, I will pursue a small claims lawsuit and report this to all relevant agencies. If you value your time, money, or your car, I strongly recommend you avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of honest mechanics in Orange County-this is not one of them. read more

Got a flat tire on the side of the road after work. I called around to all of the nearby auto shops and they were either about to close, didn't sell tires, or didn't have my tire size.
