I have a Chevrolet Bolt EUV with a set of tires that practically nobody makes anymore, and one of them had started leaking air. I was worried I was in for an expensive replacement. I'm so thankful ChatGPT directed me to Tire Outlet. The moment I pulled into the parking lot, I was greeted with smiles and employees who were eager to help. The manager personally took care of me, and from the very beginning, everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The speed of service really impressed me. About a year ago, I brought my car to a different tire shop in Fullerton for another leaky tire and ended up waiting 2 1/2 hours before anyone even looked at my car. Today's experience couldn't have been more different. While I relaxed in Tire Outlet's clean, comfortable waiting lounge and got some work done on my laptop, they had everything taken care of in about 15 minutes. Then came the biggest surprise of all. They told me my tire didn't need to be replaced after all--they were able to fix it easily by hand. And when I went to pay, they insisted on not charging me anything. Seriously... who does that these days?! I was blown away. That level of honesty and integrity is incredibly rare. They could have easily sold me a new tire, especially since my tires are difficult to find, but instead they fixed the actual problem and sent me on my way. From now on, Tire Outlet will be the only place I take my car for tire service. They specialize exclusively in tires (so you don't have to wait while a car gets another type of lengthy repair or maintenance), know their products inside and out, have an impressive inventory, provide incredibly fast service, and, most importantly, treat their customers with honesty, care, and respect. I was about two hours from home, and ended up with a hole in my tire that needed fixing before I could drive back. They told me to arrive by 6:30 p.m. since they closed at 7, and I got there just in time. While the actual replacement process was smooth and the tires look fine, I only found out from the paperwork afterward that they were supposedly "balanced". Unfortunately, the car hasn't been driving right since. The steering feels off, it's jerky, and turns are more difficult than they should be. Clearly, something is wrong with the balancing or the installation. I'm concerned that because I arrived so close to closing time, the job may have been rushed. If they can't do a thorough job that late in the day, they really should stop taking new customers earlier rather than rushing through the work. In short, while the staff was accommodating in terms of timing, the end result was that my car doesn't drive properly now. For that reason, I wouldn't go back.

Honestly, whoever is in charge of their customer service training needs a promotion. From the second I walked in, every employee I interacted with was incredibly polite and professional. They all wear sharp polos with their name clearly marked. Refreshing was that there is no sketchiness or feeling like there was a catch. They did offer a tire warranty, which I skipped for one of my cars. But I actually bought it for my EV since electric cars are nail magnets, and I'm already at the break-even point after just one claim. There was no high-pressure upselling at all. They thoroughly explained every cost detail, and when I brought in a competitor's online quote, they matched the out-of-the-door price with zero hassle. The waiting lobby is actually nice to sit in, too. Plenty of space, workstations, free Wi-Fi, coffee, and water. Plus, the location is easy to get to right off the freeway. Service is fast, especially compared to Costco where you basically have to leave your car for the entire day. You also get free rotations and flat fixes. They have a sign on the wall from the founder, Bruce T. Halle, about being honest, working hard, and paying it forward. Usually, that stuff is just corporate lip service, but these guys actually live it. Their professionalism really shines. Highly, highly recommend!

scammed. i went in…read moreon a rainy day around november last year and needed a tire as mine was flat. i read that this place has amazing reviews so i trusted them. I just took my car for maintenance recently and they advised that the tire they sold me here is 10 years old!!! aside from that. they also stripped 3 of the lug bolts that i now also have to replace. horrible. do not go by yourself, have your husband or a man with you. do not recommend.

But again every-time I set the appointment and it said tire pressure check or tire balance. It was an interrogation of questions like is your tire pressure low because ur dashboard has TPMS light on or I are you requesting a tire balance for excessive shaking it might be due to your control arms. Do you want to get them replaced? This last time I drew the line, I came in for a tire rotation and shop was empty. I was the only vehicle there. And there you go u see a technician checking the suspension and then yells oh we have ripped tire boot. The manager come up to me and tells me that left tire outer tire rod boots are broken and need replacement and that if we do it today it will only 350. Of course I declined, and there goes Mr sour face just walking away. If the boot was actually broken I would feel my alignment leaning to the left and see that my tires were wearing out fast. I didn't see or feel anything like that. Plus if they were actually honest they would have either shown me the ripped boot or at least taken a picture as proof. I keep a log of when I swap of parts and/or do maintenance on the vehicle. The outer tire rods had been replaced a year n half ago and I had bought the parts straight from Honda. But I wanted to take a loot and removed the tires and the tire rods were still in good condition with no ripped boots. This is why I don't like mechanics at an all in shop or a corporation. They push sales and don't care about the customers. I get my tires here because the price is decent plus it comes with tire rotation and tire balance for the life time of the tire. Not bad but the constant lying and upselling when the vehicle doesn't need it is a red flag. Just be careful when you come here. They're not the honest mechanics you which they could be.

The 1 tire was only a bit over $100 for my 2019 VW! I've come back multiple times since for oil changes for myself and my friends. I barely ever have to wait more than an hour if everything goes well, only time I had to wait longer was because Autozone gave me the wrong oil filter and they had to order one. I get my VW Passat oil changed for $35 max when I bring in my own oil and filter, and the workers are always very quick. I always stick around to wait, and Greg is always great to talk to. I will continue bringing my business here, and recommend my local friends do the same!

Stay tuned.... 6/29/26 - Brought my Sienna in for an oil change + complimentary 30-point inspection (since it was my first time there). Jared took the van for a spin, brought it back and lifted it up. They found a little oil seepage coming out of the transfer case. I let them know that I did see a transfer case drain/fill on the CarFax report before I bought it. Jared thinks they just didn't torque it properly so they were going to retorque and clean up around the area and keep an eye on it. Worst case scenario, they would need to order a new drain plug gasket and I'd have to come back to get it replaced. Thankfully, the drain plug just needed to get tightened. I was in and out in almost exactly an hour just as Robert promised. Thanks The Toy Shop team!! Pro Tip: they are booked out at least a week in advanced so make your appointment ASAP!

I came to this garage on the recommendation of another of their customers. I called a couple of days ahead of time to see the best time to bring my vehicle in. I just wanted a check up as I drive 60 miles a day. I noticed their sign when I arrived for a winter check up and asked for that, also asked they check the AC as I do use it during the winter sometimes and to have the accelerator checked as I thought it was sticking. I was assured they would. I expected at 8:30 in the morning it would only take a couple hours. Richard said he would call me when it was ready. We came back 2 hours later and he said it wasn't done yet. We left to go to an appointment and he said, again, he would call when it was done, no phone call. I came back at 1, he said they had changed the oil and checked everything including the tires. I should have been more aware but I was in a hurry to get to my next appointment. They didn't do the winter check-up, including changing the wiper blades which they didn't do, just changed the oil. I don't feel very comfortable they really checked anything else I was told they did. I think I will locate another garage to take my vehicle to in the future. read more

I moved to Fullerton when I was 13 and when I got my first car I used to go to a guy that was kinda shady. After a while my mom found This shop and we started coming to see Nino for all our auto needs. He is really nice and doesn't charge for the little things because he cares more about the customer rather then pinching pennies. Be nice to him and he will be nice to you. Wish there was a way to give six stars, 'cos these guys deserve at least seven of them. On more than one occasion I brought in my 20 year old Honda Accord with problems I could not identify on my own. They could have charged me ANYTHING and told me any story they wanted to. Nino and all the mechanics are great. I recently took my car in for the check engine light. The light was for my EVAP system. They repaired to hoses for me and reset the light. The light came back on two days later. I brought my car back. It ended up being my filter was dirty. Nino had his guys clean it and put it back on free of charge. I brought in my 1996 Mercedes Benz because it had just failed a smog check at a local car wash (I had a coupon, which turned out to be no deal at all!). Neno made the repairs and spoke with the car wash guy numerous times. He was able to have my car smogged by the end of the day. Amazing! I will definitely make this my main repair shop. read more

Because of that, we didn't want to take it to just any shop. A customer at my work recommended Oily's Auto Shop, so we brought it in to fix the A/C and have the vehicle checked over since it's an older SUV. There was a small delay with updates at first, but with the recent heat and the circumstances at the shop, it was understandable. In the end, we were very happy with the results. Dylan and his brother took great care of the Tahoe, and we could tell they wanted to do the job right instead of rushing it. Thank you, Dylan and the team. We truly appreciate the work and hope to come back again in the future.

I called Pops and Sons and not only did they give me a fair price, they let me come same day. I got there within 15 minutes of calling, and I was out of there in about an hour. Very reasonable pricing and all of the workers there were extremely friendly. They even had a taco truck there that day for their shop an another shop and they gave me free tacos while I waited for my car to be worked on. The tacos were amazing btw. I definitely plan to continue to come here in the future.

Fair price and right on schedule . ( they said another leak was main seal ).. So I went to Ford dealer because they replaced the seal a couple months ago . But they told me I needed a new timing cover to fix my bad oil leak .. went to Monzon and there price was almost half the price of the Dealer . They put it on the rack and immediately called me to show the oil was leaking from the main seal as they said before ( warranty from ford) They sent me back to the dealer and " No charge for the diagnostic) Prompt , honest , fair price and even the ford dealer approved of them as they fixed my main seal after all !!!

Stopped by early on a Thursday and he asked me to come back the next day. Went back the next day, explained what the issue was (either the water pump pulley tensioner or the pulley itself). He didn't bother diagnosing the vehicle properly. Just to run the engine and magically decided it's the timing chain. Claimed he didn't want to touch the car and refused service. Turns out it was the pulley that was severely cracked and needed replacement (not the timing chain). I've been to many mechanics and this guy is the worst by far. If he didn't want to diagnose a certain brand of vehicle, he could've told me that during the initial conversation over the phone.

In the past, I've had experiences at other shops where things like this were presented as something that needed to be replaced immediately. Joe took a different approach. He explained everything clearly and suggested using a zip tie as a temporary solution until the part actually needed to be replaced. I really appreciated how he took the time to explain my options without making me feel rushed. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back for future.
