Because of their high rating on Yelp, I contacted Ameripest Solutions near the end of September about a problem I had with rats in my crawlspace. I got a response almost immediately from Daniel to set up an appointment for an inspection. Miguel Lazoya inspected my home for a rat problem early in September. He was very articulate and knowledgeable. After the inspection, he described how they would treat my rat problem and sent me a quote. The space available in the quote form did not allow for a detailed description of the work to be done, so I asked Miguel if Ameripest would revise the quote to reference an addendum where the work was detailed, and I sent him a suggested addendum. He agreed to revise the quote, and we cooperated on several drafts of the addendum we agreed on a statement of work to be done, deliverables, and a schedule of payments. Sealing access to the crawlspace and attic and setting traps in the crawlspace, attic, and home would be done one day; follow-up inspections to remove and dispose of trapped rats would occur 1, 2, and 3 weeks later. By the third inspection, all the rats were gone. I could not have been more pleased with the professionalism of the workers and with the results. I highly recommend Ameripest Solutions. read more

I have nothing but great things to say about these guys! I discovered rat droppings in my attic and called several places to come out and give me assessments and quotes. Miguel from Ameripest came out the day after I called. He was very friendly and professional, and he came in with by far the most competitive bid (while catching all the same issues found by the other bidders). I contracted Ameripest to do the job and Miguel was back with a small team within a few days to plug all the access holes along my roofline and elsewhere to keep future rats out. He also set up traps in the attic and under the house and came out once a week over the next few weeks to see if there were any rats trapped inside due to his sealing up the access points. We never did find any trapped rats, so finally he came out with a full crew to remove all of the old insulation, rat droppings and random lumber debris that was in my old attic and lay down all new R38 insulation. This included sanitizing the attic, and the entire job was done using a well-ventilated plastic tunnel which his team constructed to run from the attic ceiling panel (in a closet) all the way out the front door. Not only did they cart away all the debris from the attic, they left the inside of the house spotless - absolutely no dust leaked out of that plastic tunnel. You'd never know they'd been here by the end of the day. They did an absolutely fantastic job start to finish. read more
