We were excited to go to the new location for this restaurant. The food tasted the same as their previous location. However, this restaurant has very large windows everywhere and the sun was shining in from every one of them. Not pleasant eating with sun in your eyes.. The noise level was extremely high. It seems like everyone was trying to shout higher than the other person. No possible way to hold a conversation without shouting. People had their hands over their ears. Saw a few people leave. I have to say that between the shouting and the sun, I left with a headache. The food was good but I won't be going to eat in for a while. I will do takeout next time. read more

The reason I was giving this wonderful place 4 stars instead of it's well deserved 5 was the length of time it was closed to build the new restaurant. What the heck we're we supposed to do with all the crappy pizza in Wesley chapel. I've been a long time customer at Amici's and love the food. The staff is awesome, especially Vincent and family. I had to get used to Marco's and kind of like it now and the hopes that delivery was on the horizon was dashed. Confused servers....long wait for anyone to ask if we wanted even water. Once we ordered the chef salad was not impressive. A small bit of ham and provolone over iceberg lettuce with a slice of tomato, salami, black olives and banana peppers...very little though and the dressing cup was only half full. What a terrific experience Amici was for our family! The knots were fantastic as was the NY-style pie. But the friendly, hospitable service is what truly stood out. Family run, the owner was all over the place meeting, greeting and entertaining. As visitors to the area our server even helped us with great area suggestions for entertainment. And I'm going to finish with what was perhaps the most impressive part of our Amici experience - the restaurant had an over- abundance of employees and not a single one was standing around. EVERYONE in the place was cleaning something. In these times that we now unfortunately are living in, it was refreshing to see an establishment taking health and safety so seriously. Great pizza. Only gave 4 because it is too loud in the restaurant. Bad Acoustics made it difficult to enjoy a conversation. But that said. Food was great and our server very attentive. Will go back to try other items on the menu. read more

Visited on 10/6/14 as I just moved about a mile up the street from Amici's. I am from NY so I know a little more then most about good NY style pizza. I have to say the pizza here was as close to NY style pizza as you will find in Florida. I will be returning to Amici's for sure, and plan on take out at least once a week. Had chicken piccata and it was tasteless Excellent pizza

We ordered a cheese pizza, garlic knots and a stromboli. The garlic knots were absolutely delicious! I think they butter them to give them that extra flavor. So much better than other places nearby who just drench them in garlic and call it a day. The star however, was their pizza dipping sauce! It is thick and so flavorful I had to stop my 5 year old from eating it with a spoon. That same sauce was used in the pizza and it was so great! I wish I could have loved the stromboli but, it was burnt on the bottom which made me sad because the contents really were delicious. If it wasn't for that they'd get 5 stars. The service was nice as well our waiter was named Chase and he did a great job very polite. I will definitely be back for more pizza and garlic knots! read more

Have eaten at this establishment many many years ago and protested since due to bad service but decided to roll the dice as we remembered the product to be very authentic and very good. If you like foldable large slices of New York style pizza then Amichis is the oven for you. Very hot, very fresh ingredients. Sweet italian sausage from flavor town and the cheese actually has flavor instead of a gooey texture with no taste to it. I didn't get the crust coma fr the dough as some pizza doughs leave you feeling heavy and lazy and sleepy. Lol. This was doughy on the bottom an crispity crusty on the edges. You can tilt a slice and not have a tablespoon of grease run off your slice. Very well prepped and and just a great Italian experience. I'm glad that we decided to forgive and forget and plan on returning again soon. One thing. The place is small and they have all ovens running on all cylinders. It's very hot in the restaurant and it feels as if the a/c is non existent. It's better to take your meal on the road. It's time for a move to a bigger place and higher ceilings to give the oven heat a place to go. All in all a good dining experience. Manga!! read more

Checked in a few times with Amici, what keeps us coming back? The food, the service, and again the food. The pizzas are amazing! I have never had pizzas like this. My husband states that this pizza is as close as the pizzas he had in NJ and it's how Italian NJ/NY pizza should taste like. Not like those pizzas from the average food chain franchise. if you want good pizza, good service; or should i say real pizza this is the place to go. So I just left Amici's, we had an extra cheese pizza and buffalo wings. There was a mistake on my order and the cook and the waitress were so understanding giving us a "hook up" on the food. The pizza was delicious, the wings were very tasty and the only place in the area which serves BEEF PATTY WItH CHEESE, just like I used to eat in NY. Amici has the best pizza around Wesley Chapel hands down! We usually get the Margherita pizza and it has always been consistently delicious. I can't speak for the restaurant itself since we always order takeout, but their food is always excellent! read more
