Placed an order online, payed $20 for the pizza, ~$3 delivery fee, like $2 and some change for taxes, and left a 10% tip. About 10 minutes later, I receive a call, and it's the owner! He had an insulted attitude and was incredulous that I would "only tip 10%", in his words. He said he couldn't send out a driver for that low of a tip, because that wouldn't be fair to them, and he would pass the order to DoorDash instead. I understand 10% is not a great tip, but how am I supposed to give them free money to hope that I get good service? (Which I obviously didn't) Why am I paying a delivery fee if you rely on tips to make my order worth your time? I live literally 1.5 miles away too, like that's not too far, I feel? I kind of get it, but to call me, act offended, and be slightly rude about something that is ultimately their problem? Like come on. To boot, the pizza that arrived was wrong!!
