I got the sangria swirl and the chalupas with chicken during happy hour. The sangria was delicious but I don't think I got any happy hour pricing so not sure what is considered happy hour? The chalupas were a bit disappointing. I was expecting grilled chicken but got plain shredded chicken instead. It tasted either boiled or canned and was almost like plain tuna. Really not appetizing. The chalupas were also soggy by the time I got them. The toppings and beans were good though. If the happy hour was a good price I'd come back for drinks but that's about it.

A friend of mine recommended this restaurant and my wife and I decided to check it out. It's located in a strip mall, and there was plenty of parking available. The restaurant had an outdoor patio, ample dining area insides, a nice bar area, and another area with seating and a stage for live music. We sat at the bar. Gaspar was bartending and he was a good host. They have Happy Hour specials. She had a Cucumber-Rita and I had a beer. Her drink was pretty good. I had a sampler platter, and she had enchiladas. The food did not take long to arrive, and it came out fresh and hot. Very lively atmosphere. The bar is well stocked, and plenty of types of tequilas available. We would definitely come back!

Wow, Today we were longing for the Mexican lasagna, one of our all-time favorites. We were seated in the bar and served by Palo, and it was the worst server EVER!!!! It took our food 1 hour to get to the table...why? Our drinks and salsa were so slow to refill. I never received my credit card with my receipt??!!! I called in the evening (6:15) to ask to talk to the MOD and the female who answered the phone told me the manager was too busy to come to the phone...WHAT!?? We showed up around 6:30 and they were not at all busy, 2 tables in the restaurant and one couple at the bar. Needless to say no one cared that we're missing your credit card. Customer service is a big fat ZERO!!! Wow, don't know if we need to give our business to Amigos...not friendly!

Going to Amigos is ALWAYS a good time. The people who work here are the best, most friendly people whether you are there in the afternoon for lunch or in the evenings for a drink with dinner. The food is absolutely delicious. We love the chalupas and sampler platters. The drinks are also amazing and reasonably priced. The go to of our group tends to be the sangria swirl, but the cucumber margarita with the tajin rim is my FAVORITE! The vibes here are so fun in the evenings. Especially on Fridays and Saturdays when they have live music. Sometimes we even bring our own speaker and have karaoke in the back room. Overall this is our favorite place in Richardson!

Great local spot that makes me wish I lived closer. Fast drinks and fresh food. Sat in the bar area for lunch and everyone seemed happy.

Service and food are good, as always! Be cautious coming on a Saturday night if you don't like live music. The music is really really loud so it's hard to hear yourself and others at your table. I would suggest sitting on the left side of the restaurant if that's not really your thing.

Came to the place for the first time for my moms birthday and I have to say I am glad that I made this choice. The food was delicious and the drinks are good. This service was great our waiter was very helpful and attentive to everyone. If you wanna have a good time and dance to some great music must come and try. Music starts at 8:00 Friday Saturday

I love this place so much! Probably if not, the best Mexican restaurant in Richardson!!! Food is very authentic, customer service is amazing. The drinks are cheap and worth getting 3 margaritas for the price of one at most places. I ordered Pollo en Mole comes with rice and beans. The mole sauce is a bit spicy but very flavorful. And chips and salsa are complimentary. Again, check this place out. You won't be disappointed!!

My friend loves this place and decided to invite me to eat dinner here. We sat down in Bar area . We were greeted right away by bartender . He was very sweet and actually spoke to us . We chatted a little. We ordered happy hour margaritas and queso. They give you complimentary chips and salsa which is great. The food and drinks is delicious I ordered the brisket enchiladas and they were amazing. Filled with mashed potatoes and sauce that they are plated over is so creamy and tasty. I will definitely be bringing my family here The service was great :)

We were very pleasantly surprised. It's even better in my opinion. The people are very warm and friendly. The food is really delicious. I love that they bring not only good salsa with their fresh hot chips, but also a tomatillo sauce and a black bean dip. We've now eaten there several times. The taco meat has a nicely charred flavor. The tamales were very good. (I'm picky about my tamales. I've tried their ranchero sauce, chili con carne, and sour cream sauce. None of them disappoint. Their rice isn't dry like it is at many other Tex-Mex places. And their $5.00 all day frozen margaritas are worth it. We usually go for the lunch specials that run until 4:00. They don't have mole on the menu, yet. I'm looking forward to their future specials. In this day and age where it's hard to keep a restaurant open, I really hope this one survives. It's not fancy, but the food and service make it worth it. And I'm a picky person when it comes to spending money on food I don't make myself.

The service is CRAZY good. And if you're lucky enough to find a spot at the bar, you're in for an even better drink/food journey. Favorites: the carne asade and seafood chile relleno (w/Serrano queso). If your dining mate will split these two dishes with you, you're going to have the perfect meal. All their drinks are good, but among my favorites are the Mezcalita and La Diabla. If you're unsure, you can share your liquor/cocktail preference and the bartenders will serve you something delicious. Also, if you like things spicy, they have a creamy green salsa that is . You just have to ask. I can't wait to try their new location (mostly because I want to see how some of my favorite bartenders are doing over there). Sueño deserves all the success because they truly care about your experience from start to finish. Which reminds me, get the churros if you save room.

For an entree I had a cheese enchilada and a chicken tinga enchilada with rice and beans. It was all so delicious. The chicken tinga was juicy and had excellent flavor. The cheese enchilada was great too, a very satisfying chili con carne goes so well with the melty cheese. Of course the rice and beans are never just rice and beans here- they were both delicious too- Pappasitos really has great attention to detail when it comes to developing scrumptious recipes. Today was her birthday (one of those that come every 10 years) and she wanted to go to Papasitos. I made reservations, checked the box that we were celebrating a BD. We arrived ahead of our reservation and had a little wait for a table. No problem. The young lady from the check in seated us and ask if we were celebrating anything. I told her that it was my wife's birthday, but she didn't want the full blown hooten hollering sombrero celebration. We waited 8-10 minutes before a server came to our table. He immediately apologized for the wait and said that he was helping out another waiter that was supposed to have our table. He took our drink order and soon returned with our drinks. To my surprise, he proceeded to take our food order. I thought he was temporarily helping out until the other server could catch up and take over. That wasn't the case. Ok, No problem so far. I'm giving 2 stars because the food came out super fast and hot and delicious. Then our server delivers hot flour tortillas.., all 3 of them. After each eating one taco, we were ready for another batch. Now this is where it started to go downhill. Several minutes go by and I could not grab his attention. I literally had to waive my hand in the air to flag him down across the restaurant. He finally looked my direction and soon delivered more tortillas. That was the last we saw of him. No checking on our table, no refills on our drinks, no nothing. After we finished our meal, we waited another 25 minutes to try to get his attention to close out our meal. He would never look our way. He was like a horse with blinders. Honestly, I think he forgot that he was our server OR MAYBE he saw us as 2 people and his gratuity was going to be smaller compared to the larger tables. Finally, I flagged down another server from another table and ask if he could close us out. He asked if we had a paper receipt, which we had not. He closed us out on his iPad. I didn't even get the chance to order my wife a dessert to celebrate the occasion. No bueno! Let's just say the service was abysmal and absolutely unacceptable. My man went MIA. It is questionable whether I will return to this establishment.
