We also saw our server when she took our order and never saw her again. We wanted another drink but didn't have anyone to ask, so we had to rely on the hostess. I enjoyed the food and drinks, but good customer service is just as important to me. I wouldn't say I wouldn't return because I'd be willing to give it another shot, but I'd hope the service would be better next time.

I went to this place for dinner. It was amazing experience. As I walked in I was greeted with love from the staff. They were treating me like I was part of the family. Must have been the hairdo I had but whatever it was I got respect as a customer. I looked through their menu and I didn't know what to pick. So I decided let me try something different. Boy did I make the right decision on that. My first time trying Pad Kee Mao. Also known as Drunken noodles. I told the guy there hey what the heck are you putting in these noodles??? Why the heck is it its called drunken noodles. They assured me there was nothing related to being drunk. There must have been something in there that's special because when I put those sweet noddles in my mouth, it was a burst of flavor. What the heck was I eating? I don't know but I was tasting so many flavors that my tongue was doing overtime work. I also ordered the red curry and that's a product on its own. The chicken on this was tender, moist and smothered in delicious sauce. I could smell the coconut on it and felt I was in Thailand eating the food of the natives. The seasoning on this was cooked to perfection. I couldn't believe they made this dish and charged so little for it. Finally I had their fried rice, which was good. Nothing too special but I am Asian and a meal without rice is no meal at all. The chicken on the fried rice I gotta say was cooked really well. These people were really generous with their portion. The amount of food I got for the price, I don't know if they can stay in business. They really hook you up with good food and good quantity. This meal was delectable, exciting, exotic that filled my stomach with joy. They cooked the food after I ordered so its freshly made. Only complaint I have is there was no tea. This might not be a fair criticism because I am a tea addict. I used to have 6-7 cups of tea a day. However the addiction made me hyper and so now I have calmed to merely 2 cups a day. For me tea completes the meal so they gotta put some tea there so I can sip it while staring into space. Great place to go specially with family. The atmosphere is very nice and ambient. The place is a little far from my home but if it was close I'd visit more often. Probably a good thing because I would gain more weight from eating all those delicious food. read more

I absolutely LOVED the food here! My husband and I ordered basil fried rice, Pad Kee Mau (drunken man noodles), chicken teriyaki, and lollipop chicken. The portions were big, especially the basil fried rice, and the food was very flavorful. The drunk man noodles were the best of what we ordered. I'm definitely ordering that again every visit. The only small complaint is that the lollipop chicken should be even crispier and should come with more sauce. We didn't wait too long for the food even though the place was kind of packed when we went. The place is simple and relaxing, and the service was good.The best part about this place is that we're getting great authentic thai food here that is actually halal! They're even making a prayer area in the basement! I was very happy with the food and service. Absolutely fantastic, this is my second review on Yelp but surely it won't be my last, I love this site. Amina Thai holds a special place in my heart, the food is well cooked and is unmatched by anything in the area (including Dhan Shit-ri). Under its new management, the service has dramatically increased, the workers seem happier and so does the food. Every time I step inside they welcome me like I am a part of their family. The area is very convenient and next to the Specialized High-school QHSS where my son currently attends. Be sure to try out their Thai Iced Tea, best of its kind! read more

I loved their fried rice and the bang bang shrimp was amazing! Although for $6 we only got 4 small shrimps and since they tasted so good I wish we had more. I Wanted fish cake but was told they ran out, maybe they are unable to predict demand since they are still so new. Overall I am super stoked that a place on hillside now serves authentic thai food with a complate array of choices from satay to fried icecream to my favorite thai iced tea which I have yet to try from here. read more

The flavor from noodles did not transfer onto the tofu making it a very disconnected dish. I'm disappointed with my experience as I have enjoyed Chill D in the past, but it seems like the quality has gone down.

The sashimi salad was fine. Mango was a nice touch but the dressing was dull. Other than fish, it included massive chunks of lettuce, a single slice of cucumber, and a single slice of tomato. For $15 it was just too boring. Ive had better food here in the past, but my order this time was so disappointing. I would have given this five stars with the following changes: - Ingredients in the soup should be fresh. - the soup should have more aromatic ingredients and seasonings. - the sashimi salad needs better proportions and more vegetables (green onion? Sesame seeds? Anything with flavor?) - the salad should have a freshly made dressing, instead of a packet of shoyu.
