Remarkable ambiance that adds to the dining experience. Perfect for date night, initiate dining, and family style eating. Amor A Mi is almost a hole in the wall for its delicious chilaquiles and Mexican brunch. I loved their matcha and coffee varieties, I'll have to come back to try the rest of their drink menu. I got the French toast and the brioche was exquisite! The strawberries and mascarpone were perfect touches to the meal. The staff were kind and just lovely. Highly recommend !

Ambience- perfect! It's so lovely here. It's such a warm and inviting space if you want to bring a friend or friends while yet still being peaceful enough to come by yourself and enjoy a quiet rose latte! I've had their rose latte a bunch. It's very good. I highly recommend it. I also had the tortitas de papa. I've never had this dish before but like the description and it was delicious. I'd get it again. Service was friendly and familial but in a familial-professional way. This is a gem of a find and I look forward to spending more of my money here.

I want to start this review off by saying that the food tasted great. No issues there. The inside was also very nice. I loved the vibe. However, there were a few things that outshined the taste of the food. To start, our food was COLD. We had already waited about 20ish minutes. Honestly can't recall but enough time had passed by and we were just hungry. We drove in for business from the IE and had other things to do so we couldn't wait to have it be remade. But from the tortilla, the meat, and the beans it was cold. The only thing hot was the egg on top and so that makes me wonder how fresh everything was. Oh and the description of the plate says it comes with beans but tbh it's just a smear under everything. We ate what we could until the entire plate was too cold to enjoy. The agua de Jamaica was intense. I had to add water to balance out how strong it was. But once I added more water it was nice. What's funny about my Jamaica is that when I was served it our server literally said "here" and handed it to me. Which was funny to us because that's never happened to us anywhere. Usually you get a kinder approach like "here is that Jamaica" not just "here". And with that, the service was mediocre. It wasn't genuine or authentic. Which is kind of sad given the prices of the food and how upscale it is. You kind of expect a more authentic and overall amicable experience. But it wasn't. I felt like a person there to give them my money which is true but I never felt like a welcomed customer. A one time of visit for us for sure.

What an excellent experience we had and I cant wait to go back. Love the vibe of the restaurant with the decor and enjoyed sitting at the bar. The staff was very friendly and quick to help us with what we needed and the food was delicious. I would suggest to get sauce on the side if you dont like your food spicy. Thei cappucino and Cortado was also delicious.

Not worth the 30 min wait to get our food. Decent breakfast sandwich & okay French toast. My family really liked their rib eye and barbacoa tacos but I would not come back again; their menu is super limited & service takes too long even when they're not busy. Overhyped in my opinion.

This beautiful restaurant is a gem! The decor is fabulous. There is so much attention to detail. Great for any occasion, but I came for breakfast. The staff was accommodating and very helpful. We had the chicken Chilaquiles and the steak and barbacoa tacos. Both were fabulous! I can't wait to come back and try different dishes. The parking is street parking.

Service was great waiter was very attentive but we were in fact the only people there. Food was ok, the steak sandwich was flavorful the Barbacoa tacos were not usual babacoa tacos that I'm use to it was very dry, the tacos de chicharron was yummy the Mexican matcha iced was refreshing

What a cozy and delicious meal! Came here for brunch on a Sunday. Everything was top tier from the latte to the french toast to the chilaquiles! Highly recommend both but if you're feeling something sweet go for the french toast and if you want savory go for the chilaquiles. The were perfectly crispy! Would absolutely recommend this place for a date, for a brunch with the girlies, you name it! There is a bar, some tables inside and two tables outside. Pro tip: this place gets hella busy but they do reservations - yay! So make sure to get one for the weekend! Parking was easy as I parked in one of the neighborhood streets nearby. It was two hour parking.

This was a great experience for comfort mexican food with modern twist! Service was excellent, kind friendly staff, and beautiful modern yet comfortable warm ambiance. Tacos: Huitlacoche - the kernels were good but mixed in with sweet corn was too sweet. I tasted more sweet corn than mushroom or huitlacoche, beans were good! Not spicy, could use a spicy salsa Chicharrón - excellent Shrimp - fresh, but too much cream sauce! The taco fell apart, more fresh condiments like cilantro and onions would have been nice vs so much sauce Barbacoa - it was good, but needed lemon, cilantro and onions! Birria especially goat or lamb is best served with fresh squeezed lemon and fresh condiments on the side for the palette's desire. Salsas and chips - fresh chips! Green salsa was good, red salsa had a flavor we couldn't pinpoint, canned chipotle maybe? Not our favorite. Tlayuda - not traditional, but the crunchy cheese layer was fun! We enjoyed it and would order one more for the table next time. Excellent and fresh Homemade Flour tortilla - yum! Homemade Corn Tortilla - a little dry, not too flavorful. Hopes for the future: I wish there could be a green salad, fish option, or other unique veggie sides like nopales, verdolagas, or mushrooms en chile that Mexican cuisine has to offer! Either way looking forward to trying lunch menu

Once again I saw this restaurant on my socials and I definitely had to stop in and try it for myself. I was not disappointed whatsoever. I was greeted with smile and a warm welcome. Very refreshing these days. The restaurant is very clean from the dining room to the restrooms.. The staff was so kind ,accommodating and very attentive. The variety of food is nice. The service was quick. The food was served at the right temperature. Everything ordered tasted fresh and delicious. I had a great experience overall. The pricing and the portions are reasonable. I will definitely come back again.

Mexican matcha (oat milk and palo santo) Light taste and refreshing Chilaquiles with green sauce delicious. We set outside. Even with the cars driving by it was very pleasant and relaxing. Friendly and relaxed service. No rush.

Such a cute spot, the chilaquiles are delicious. I highly recommend a coffee date as the atmosphere is perfect. The service was quick and efficient.

I was in Burbank and wanted some breakfast that wasn't right next to the mall, this was the perfect spot! It was pretty busy so without a reservation we waited about 25 mins for a table of 2. I got the breakfast sandwich without chimichurri and it was absolutely delicious! It had thick cut bacon and lots of avocado. I also got a Mexican coke and it was just the perfect meal. There's a good amount of seating inside but the place isn't huge, very cute and cozy. There's also two tables out on their patio for dining as well, making it dog friendly!

We waited about 45 minutes for a table, which honestly wasn't a problem at all. They're located in a plaza with parking, and there's also plenty of street parking nearby. First, let's talk about the Café de Olla. We ordered two, and WOW. It's their signature coffee, brewed with cinnamon, raw Mexican brown sugar, and spices. We normally drink our coffee black, but this was easily one of the best coffees I've ever had. Seriously, do not skip the coffee here! For breakfast, we ordered two dishes and shared everything. We had the Breakfast Skillet, loaded with country potatoes, eggs, bell peppers, mozzarella, fresh avocado, and ranchero sauce. We also ordered the Chilaquiles à la Bandera -- crispy tortilla chips with half tossed in their green salsa and the other half in red salsa, topped with mozzarella, Mexican cream, Cotija cheese, and eggs. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. And because we needed something sweet, we added the Crunchy French Toast Sticks, drizzled with caramel and Lechera. SO GOOD and the perfect sweet addition to our breakfast. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves! The service deserves its own mention. Our server, Liliana, was an absolute doll! She was so sweet, attentive, and genuinely helpful. She helped us decide what to order based on her own favorites and recommendations, and everything she suggested was spot on. Our Café de Olla came out within probably a minute of ordering, and once we placed our food order, I don't think we waited more than five minutes. Considering how packed the restaurant was, we were seriously impressed. Liliana definitely made our first visit even better! Everything was perfect -- the food, the coffee, and especially the service. Definitely recommend Mex Cocina Cafe for breakfast or brunch. We will 100% be back. In fact, we already can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!

End of the day, a $68 bill pre-tip for a less than genrous plate of ($16??) guac and 4 very small tacos with no rice or beans included and one draft Modelo is just unacceptable. The tacos were adequate, but unspectacular. 'Filet mignon' tacos were a single unchopped hunk of meat well flavored but so bare and small for 2x $22. The guac was too refrigerated, with not fully ripened avocado that resulted in an overly sweet taste and slightly firm texture that was unpleasant. Chips were also just not very good, and also not as far as I could tell complimentary. Service gets high marks for speed and efficiency, but felt super impersonal. Example, a server asked us how everything was while we were clearly just sitting there, not having tasted any of it waiting for some limes to arrive at the table. Just asked the question without surveying at all, and it was very performative and not genuine. Which is fine. I'm not at all mad at the servers, tough job but worth noting when noting the tip % options on the POS. End of the day I don't know if I'll be back or not. Everybody has an off day. But just about every aspect was less than stellar(draft beer was excellent) especially compared to three previous excellent visits. It's getting harder to justify going out for dinner, and at these prices, I would hope they could do a little better.

I have really received better service from Denny's and iHop. When this is supposed to be fine dining I do expect fine service with it too. The food: It was good, but I order the same thing at all locations, the lobster enchiladas. So thumbs up with the consistency at the California locations. I do think the Cabo location has a little extra twist of tasty. Drinks: I don't remember them being this lackluster at locations. The restaurant is so beautiful and has a nice ambiance to it. It makes you feel like you have traveled somewhere outside of downtown L.A. but that is where the magic ends. Our waitress felt very matter of fact with us. She wasn't outgoing and welcoming. I wanted to try something different and was going to ask her for a suggestion, but she really made me feel like she just wanted my order and don't bother her with anything else. When it was time to collect the plates from the table, it was weird. The men helping to clear the table never said anything like excuse me when reaching across us. I am only 5'3 so me being chest to table is pretty normal. One of them came too close for comfort to my chest when reaching across trying to clear the tables. Slow down and pay attention to where you are reaching. At the end of dinner, we never even looked at the dessert menu because at that point we were just ready to go. Upon departure, we had to stand and wait for our vehicles. All 3 of use drove in separate cars. So, we spent almost what we paid for meals in parking. Please Javier group, figure this location out or give it up to a restaurant who is going to deliver food and service as beautiful as the place itself.

We got our food 35 mins later (keep in mind it was one plate) we were waiting on. & we still hadn't gotten our lemonade I had asked for. The cook brought us our plate & he was nice and asked if we needed anything else. I said " I asked one of the servers for a lemonade and it still hasn't been brought." & he mentioned he would let them know. Then the server comes back with an attitude and places it on the table, not even a word said. I even thanked her multiple times and nothing was said, no "you're welcome" or anything. She never even checked up on us or asked if we needed anything else. If you can't handle being a server why even work as one? Simple as that. This is what ruins a restaurant's reputation and makes people not want to go back. No tip was deserved.

We also got the big Shara le plate of Meats we got asada and carnitas, both were great frill flavors and good portion. Kids enjoyed their kids dishes as well. Desserts also great! The only bad part was our table for 8, we sat near the sun deck and it was definitely warm and not cooled temp. That was the only thing not the greatest. Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5! Thank you!! From the moment I walked in to the moment I opened my menu, I was reminded three times that there was a two-hour limit for the table. While I had no intention of staying that long, hearing it repeatedly right away gave the experience an unnecessary feeling of being rushed. The interior is gorgeous, though. Creamy neutral tones, tons of greenery, and a beautiful tropical feel that really makes you feel like you've been transported somewhere on vacation. Just be prepared for the volume to match the crowd. When it's busy, it is LOUD. The tables are pretty close together, and I spent most of the meal leaning forward and practically shouting to have a conversation. I could barely hear our server half the time. The food was good overall and I didn't have any major complaints. Portions are a decent size, although rice and beans are ordered separately. I asked for something with a little more heat and was happy to see they offer a habanero sauce--but it comes with a $5 upcharge. The drinks were probably my biggest letdown. A $26 margarita has some pretty high expectations attached to it, and unfortunately, this one didn't quite live up to the price tag. Overall, I enjoyed the food and absolutely loved the atmosphere, but the combination of the table-time reminders, noise level, and underwhelming drinks kept it from being a "must come back immediately" kind of place. Would I come back? Sure. Am I rushing back? Not exactly.
