The first time I ate here my sister brought back a regular slice for me. It wasn't very impressive and a bit expensive. It didn't taste like normal pizza and maybe because that was what I was expecting I was disappointed, since this place doesn't make regular pizza. I ordered delivery recently and got French fries, curly fries and chicken tenders. Contrary to what I experienced before this time I was impressed! The delivery time said 45-60 minutes but I got my order in 30. The delivery guy was really nice when I gave lots of coins ($2 worth) as tip which really made me happy because the last time I got delivery from Italian village down the block the delivery guy actually complained about the coins and how little my tip was. I told him I really didn't have cash on me and he gave me a look of disgust and I swear he spat at me. It was revolting and so amore pizza's delivery made me happy right from the start. They got the order perfect with my requests and it was packaged neatly. The curly fries, which I normally don't like, tasted pretty good and crispy. The regular fries tasted normal but ended a bit more salt. But it was really the chicken tenders that sealed the deal. They were perfectly golden- not too deep fried but not soggy, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside so that when I ripped it into pieces you could see the white meat and not just burnt skin or dark unidentifiable chunks. this place has really gone down hill. The pizza tasted stale. Sauce was bad. Ate almost half the slice and just tossed the rest. Yuck

I've given Amore 3 chances to impress me, thinking maybe i was there on an off night. Nope, bad all 3 times. I had to come to the conclusion that Amore is not very good. Everytime i'm there it looks like i am getting yesterdays left over slices. and i was there at all times of the day. You also kind of get kind of roped into waitress service, like this is a restaurant. It's not! It is very annoying. The taste of the pizza (left over and all) does not taste good either. Tried this place for the first time last night because our kitchen is under construction.. Picked-up Chicago Italian Beef sandwich & some wings. I'll definitely be back! The young lady that took my phone order was efficient & professional. My food was hot & ready in the timeframe she shared. I didn't tour the place, but what I did see was clean and the guys looked like they knew what they were doing. The sandwich was delicious & huge. Big enough for two. The tastiest sandwich that I've had in recent memory. The wings were so-so. They needed to be cooked more, but a decent effort for a pizza place. Since I work locally and don't have too much time to eat, I needed to find a good pizza place with fast service and good food. Amore fits the bill. Their chicken Marsala pizza is my favorite and tomato pizza is next. Some of the other fancy pizzas are not my cup of tea, but these 2 will do. read more

Very disappointed given the advertisement as award-winning pizza place. This place is an inexpensive eatery, nothing more. The pizzas that are listed on the menu in a special section as world championship-winning pizzas from years ago are nothing more than what you will get at any pizza place where the original Italian chef has left. To make a great pizza, fresh and good ingredients are required, which have to have their own noticeable taste, and the dough has to be light, crispy and tasty. The pizza there filled our stomachs, but that was it. We went there on our wedding anniversary - unfortunately, without checking the reviews, saw what kind of place it is, but went in because our kids were hungry. We've gotten pizza here a few times. The first time my partner loved it, the second time he thought it was just ok. The crust is very dry and bland but the sauce and cheese is tasty. One time we got a pizza that had very little sauce. If we order again, I'll ask for extra sauce. read more

Hands down, Amore has the best pizza around! The staff is really friendly, the orders are always ready quickly, and the food is always very good. The pizza is the best in Westchester, and everything else that I've ever had on the menu has been delicious as well. The catering for parties is fantastic. Awesome pizzeria! read more

We haven't ordered from here in a while and when we do it's just for the pizza. But tonight I wanted to get an old favorite from someplace new. So we ordered from Amore. The pie was excellent as usual. But the chicken fingers with Fries and the chicken scarp was terrible. The fries we cooked in the oldest fry oil possible. FYI to anyone reading this, when the fries look brown not golden the oil hasn't been changed in a long time. The Chicken Fingers were tough and over cooked. I know they were frozen and not fresh but they are already cooked. They don't need to be left in the fryer for 15 mins. Last is my favorite dish.... the Chicken Scarp over spaghetti. It was not spicy. It was served in what i would describe as a watery white gravy. The spaghetti was clumped together literally stuck together. I wish they took as much pride in the kitchen as they do on their pizza. I'll keep going back for the pizza, but I'm staying away from the kitchen. read more

Interesting thing about Amore,it seems every time I am there you see the multiple mailmen town workers from both New Rochelle or Scarsdale,from being there they I have seen them pay the same amount. When the local town workers eat there it must be good.There are usually three or four delivery drivers coming pretty quick.This shows me the food is fresh. I have Had both the spaghetti bolognese{ to die for }and multiple items off the and have never had a bad choice. They have a chicken roll packed with chicken and cheese,the same with the sausage roll.The cheese pizza is decent but go with a topping.you get a full topping pepperoni covering the whole slice .The chicken Marsala slice would fill you up. Even better the waitress,I think Elana was her name,she is great with small children,whole families no matter how crazy it gets,, The counter guys also are fast and friendly so when I am in a hurry I'm in and out.
