Super late night dinner and we are so glad they were available! We made a reservation on the Resy app and sat in a booth near the bar. Staff is super nice, food was amazing. We got the fried chicken Mac/cheese with the egg rolls for appetizers and margarita and a beer. ALL were magnificent! And if you're just wanting a light nibbles and a drink, the egg rolls are filling alone and the margarita was epic! Definitely going back on our next trip to Auburn University area.

Definitely a food jewel in auburn! My go to is the pan fried salmon added to the Cobb salad with a side of fries. I would recommend the Brussels and spinach dip for appetizers, though. Recently I visited on game day for their game day menu and I ordered the seabass which was outstanding!! The service is always prompt and warm as well.

Steak frites and fried brussels are always solid and consistently good. Customer service is good too. Easy, pleasant experience every time!

Love this place. It's bigger than you would think upon walking in as there is a big back room plus a great big patio. Will definitely do the patio next time as I sat in the up front smaller area at a high top table and the vibe was not as good as the other areas of the restaurant. Also didn't like that they kept on MMA fighting on all the TVs during normal dinner hours. This isn't that kind of place and it felt off watching people bash each other's brains in with little kids around. Food and drink were excellent. The old fashioned was great. I like that they used square cubes. One single big cube is best but small square cubes over ice chips are nearly as good. The pork chop was tremendous. Cook was perfect and the sauce was delicious. The real star, however, were the sides. You really can't beat getting THREE sides, all of which were delicious: collard greens, black eyed pea succotash and a biscuit. Service was attentive. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

The restaurant is definitely deceiving. There is a chill bar vibe upfront and a really nice restaurant vibe in the lower back room. The server was really friendly and accommodated a large group of us with no issue. The drinks were impeccable and the food was mouth watering. All my friends and I ordered different things off the menu, and every single person thought their food was absolutely delicious.

Love this place! The turkey pinwheels are my actual favorite! The hummus plate is super unique as well. Great, reasonably priced, fast casual restaurant that feels much more high end than a fast food place. Also love the reusable cups!

Great food, fantastic atmosphere. And, you don't have to bust the bank if you order off of the right part of the menu!

I started off with the Moon Over Madagascar, and let me tell you--if this drink had a fan club, I'd be president. The black tea and vanilla combo sounded like a weird dare at first, but it ended up being shockingly amazing. Whoever came up with that mix deserves a bonus and maybe a parade. Now, let's talk about the shrimp and grits, because these were not just "good." These were "call your mama and tell her you've tasted greatness" good. The chef is from South Carolina, and you can taste every bit of Lowcountry pride in that bowl. Perfectly cooked grits? Check. Pile of blackened shrimp? Double check. A sauce that made me rethink my entire life? Oh yeah. If they sold that sauce by the gallon, I'd be bankrupt but extremely happy. Erica, our waitress, was an absolute rockstar. Super helpful, incredibly informative, and somehow managed to keep the perfect balance of friendly and professional--even on the Sunday after the Iron Bowl, when half of Auburn is stress-eating. The place was spotless too, which is impressive considering the emotional damage that game causes every year. Bottom line: The Hound is a must-visit. Come hungry, order boldly, and thank me later.

There's a particular kind of joy in feeding your college kid something that didn't come from a…read moredrive-thru window or a dining hall steam tray--and this place delivers that joy in butter, spice, and just the right amount of indulgence. Tucked into Auburn's dining scene with an upscale-casual pub charm, it's become our daughter's favorite spot to "take us" when we visit--which tells you everything you need to know. After a semester fueled by ramen and an alarming quantity of Chick-fil-A, she heads straight for the spicy penne crowned with perfectly cooked filet medallions. A wise choice. They don't take reservations, and yes, you may linger outside awhile on a busy night. Stay. It's worth it. For those of us with Gulf Coast roots, the menu reads like a love letter: blackened catfish done right, crispy crawfish tails, and cheese-laced grits that feel like a warm welcome home. The fried green tomatoes are a standout--golden, crisp, topped with grilled shrimp, and finished with a balsamic glaze that somehow works beautifully, even if it strays from tradition. The shrimp and grits, the catfish, the pasta--all hits. Cheesecake for dessert, especially if you're loyal to a graham cracker crust, is non-negotiable. Dim, cozy, a little whimsical (don't skip art in the hallway to the bathroom), and staffed by people who seem genuinely happy you're there. We'll be back. Often. --Chance & Becky *All Ahead Slow*

Our attendant was Faith - she took very good care of us. We enjoyed talking with her. We give her A++ for doing a great job. I believe it effected some of the flavors of foods that were boiled in it, too. Gnocchi had some of the same off flavor. In addition, some of the flavors just feel way out of whack for totally unrelated reasons. Sauce that the duck came in was thin and overwhelmed by honey. The risotto it was served with seems like it should be rich and homey. But despite a crazy amount of added dairy still tasted thin and flat. Can't tell you why. Wonky seasoning? None of the dishes reflected any familiarity with acid to lighten or balance a dish. Fried green tomatoes were pretty mid despite a quality remoulade and a bunch of pimento cheese. Ingredients seem like they're decent quality. Desserts are legitimately top notch. Everyone recommends the peanut butter pie. And it is excellent, though pretty obviously not long out of the freezer. The affogato Is legitimately fantastic. And I'm not even talking about the pageantry of dumping the espresso on the salt ice cream. The combo is legitimately satisfying, like a well-rounded creamy candy. The plates are funky and cool and beautiful. The staff all seem like they're 19, attractive, and gregarious.

I couldn't have asked for a better dinner date than coming here with my super thoughtful boyfriend…read morewho completely spoiled me with such great food! We came Valentine's Day weekend from Columbus, GA after attending mass. He really wanted to take me here and I'm so glad he did. We had the bread and butter which was to die for! I think they gave us too much butter over bread ratio, but l'm not complaining haha. So warm, soft, fluffy and delish the bread was. I don't think we talked much when we had our wagyu steak main course cause it was so good, we couldn't say a word to each other. The pepper sauce with the perfectly cooked medium rare steak (which came cut in two pieces, which is a really genius move to serve steak by the way), with white asparagus, caramelized onion, rose petals, and just pure deliciousness. Literally chef's kiss. We also couldn't make up our mind about desserts cause they had a Valentine's dessert menu and the couple sitting next to us also recommended the cookies and milk. Yeah- I'm really lucky and very spoiled. Definitely hit a sugar high, but absolutely worth it. Servers and greeters were also all so kind and attentive. Definitely recommend :) I think this is the nicest dinner anyone has ever treated me to. Thanks for my amazing boyfriend- I'm so grateful.

Let me start by saying the building is beautiful and the atmosphere feels like a nice restaurant. Also, the cocktail menu was definitely curated by someone who knows what they are doing. The appetizer Barrotta cheese was the best part of the evening. With that being said, the entrees were lackluster and small. Our food came out lukewarm at best and honestly seemed like not a lot of thought went into them. I know that this restaurant is supposed to be upscale, but I don't think I should pay 55$ per persons meal and still leave hungry. Also, the staff needs training. The whole time it felt like they were concerned with fast turn over and nothing else. Part of upscale dining is that the price of food and quality of service is more important than turn over time. Generally speaking I will not be back to eat here again.
