Nice location and good coffee. We ordered a hot cortado, iced oat milk latte and second one with an additional shot. It was strong espresso and lighter milk than other places which we liked. The iced coffee did not automatically come with a sleeve, my sister took mine to take photos. Prices were average. Staff was friendly and efficient. They offer free water in a container at the barista bar with glasses or you can ask for a to go cup. It was a little stuffy inside though, they could probably do with opening all the windows for a strong breeze, so we sat outside. They have some two person tables outdoors which is nice. They have some tables inside for 2-4 people and a few soft chairs. There is a grand piano for the piano bar evenings. I'm not sure what days/times they are. The gender neutral restroom was decently clean. This is in central Paso Robles downtown shopping area so it's a good location. It is just street parking (Paso is 2 hours free and then paid after but it's very affordable. Like a $1 an hour). read more

Really cute cafe that has huge open windows. We didn't have reservations but were able to pay the $10 cover charge for an evening of listening to a pianist play tunes. Ordered their house rose, which was pretty darn good. Though the cheese plate took awhile to arrive, it was so good! We really loved the local dried apricots too, best ones I've ever had! read more

We went here to get coffee and to get food for our kids. It has an overall nice interior and I have to say that the coffee and croissant were pretty good, but I'm giving it low stars for the snarky attitude of the staff and the unwelcoming vibe we got when arriving there. If you sort the current Yelp reviews by the lowest stars, you'll see that poor customer service seems to be a recurring theme with the owners arguing on Yelp for any low rating, so I guess that's just how they role at this establishment. Also, as others noted, no staff was wearing a mask despite the CA mask mandate to wear one indoors. We probably should have just left when we saw that, but it was pretty cold outside and we didn't want to search for another coffee place. At least they have good coffee. read more

Great feel to this local shop. Coffee and food, freshly prepared. I had the egg/bacon /avocado on brioche served with what I'd call an Asian-style hot chili sauce. . Wife had the molasses oatmeal with berries. Both were great. Friendly service. Wonderful pre-wine tour breakfast. We want to come back for the music. We were traveling and on the hunt for a place that served good coffee and breakfast. This seemed to fit the bill. I know I should know by now not to go off businesses' picture perfect Yelp pages, but I can't help but get sucked into it. So here we go again! First off, the inside wasn't that big and so it was almost impossible to socially distance. It was bustling with people on a Thursday morning. The mocha I ordered was actually pretty good. It tasted more like a smooth dark chocolate drink, not too sweet. My husband said his oat milk latte was pretty good as well. So they got the coffee down. However, we were really underwhelmed with the food we ordered. I honestly would prefer Starbucks breakfast over what we had. My breakfast wrap was a good size but bland as paper, absolutely no salt or pepper was used. It seemed like that was the commonality between all the food we ordered. The boys thought their breakfast burritos were boring too. I loved the location though and feel like this area is still promising. read more

Giving 4 stars because I've been here before for dinner and it was so soooo good! And the music was amazing. BUT breakfast this time was sadly disappointing. The veggie breakfast burrito had pickled squash and zucchini and it was just weird. The tortilla was very thick and dry. It was also very interesting how they cooked the eggs in both the scramble and burrito. I would've liked them to be less dry. Salsa was good though. Went in today for an espresso and latte. There was no one in the place. With all the windows open on a chilly day it's no wonder. Service was also cold. No smiles, no thank you. We left a tip...big mistake. When we got our drinks they were served in paper to-go cups. For the price of the drinks I was expecting something more than PAPER cups The expresso was undrinkable. I don't know what kind of bean/roast they use. It DID NOT taste like espresso. It tasted terrible. I left the PAPER cup after one sip. The latte was just OK. We'll never go back to this establishment. There are plenty of good places for espresso in Paso Robles. This is NOT one of them. Stay away. read more

I guess a lot of the shops and restaurants are closed on Monday and Tuesday in Paso. It was almost impossible to find coffee or a place to get breakfast on Tuesday, so again, by default, we found this place and there was a line. Super cute and it becomes a piano bar in the evenings. The coffee is good and their scones are huge! We also had a breakfast sandwich and it was yummy! I asked one of the servers what it was like at night. He said the back patio is open and they served appetizers and play music. We were not able to try that, but it's on the list for next time. But it is a very cute coffee stop in the AM! Went here a couple of weeks ago. When I walked in I was warmly greeted by the staff and they were very nice. I ordered an Americano and an egg and ham breakfast wrap. When I ordered I was asked if I wanted a side of hot sauce and I said yes. The Americano was mediocre at best. I make better Americanos at home with my Ninja Luxe Cafe. The breakfast wrap was awful! It had no flavor, the egg was hard and dry and there was only a paper thin slice of ham. In addition, I was charged $1.00 for a one ounce side of hot sauce. I will not be going back. read more

Cute coffee shop with jazzy vibes~ Store is located in downtown pasa Robles, there is complimentary 2 hour street parking near by. There are some indoor and outdoor table seating with live jazz music playing. My Bf got the mocha Oaxaca and I got the autumn spice latte with almond milk ($5 each latte). In addition to lattes, they have food and teas. The autumn spice latte was light and not overly spicy~ the warm notes of cinnamon and turmeric make it a perfect cold weather drink. The Oaxaca mocha was stronger in flavor, with good kick from the Chile and deep chocolate flavor. Service is super fast and friendly~ Would love to try the food here my next visit. I like to mix it up and go to Spearehead or Amstradm. Today however, someone was given a grilled cheese sandwich and it looked and smelled so good I walked over to order one. I was told at this time that they closed the kitchen. It's 12:30pm. I would like to retract my tip for the coffee and will not be coming back here anymore. If I can avoid it (sometimes spearhead is to crowded). Spearhead is much better and will get my business in the future. read more

Dropped into this spot to get coffee and was pleasantly surprised to be welcomed with some jazz music in the morning. The service was very efficient and the coffee delicious. They have a jazz band playing for weekend brunch and also dinner. Loved the ambiance with live plants and a music themed decor. They have good indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating opens up into the street and makes for a very inviting experience. Street parking is easy and ready available. Holy hell!!! Now THIS is a coffee lounge! Such a classy and cool environment. We've walked past this place so many times but never stopped in until today. The cashier/barista was a doll, knowledgeable with an upbeat attitude. It was mid afternoon when we went in and the place was pretty quiet. We ordered the himalayan salted caramel latte with almond milk and the elderflower vanilla latte with almond milk. They are both just about the best lattes we have ever had. This is the new place in town to get your coffee fix and to get some very great piano bar action in the evening. Not sure quite yet as to how many evenings that will end up being though. This is just what Paso has been needing too. It's a very relaxing environment to have a drink and great, live piano playing at its best. Things are kept simple here too. During the day, it's a great place to stop for coffee and something to eat. In the evening, it's the place to come relax with a glass of wine or a beer. And listening to great piano playing too. ATMOSPHERE What can I say but there is a Steinway Grand Piano sitting in the middle of the coffee shop. It is open-air with seating outside to comply with the current COVID situation. COFFEE They source their beans from a local premium roaster. The premium lattes are mixed and developed by a team of dedicated barista's and foodies. It is NOT syrup or powder! Try the mocha! It's not called a mocha but it is Amazing! FOOD I've had the breakfast burrito twice since visiting this coffeehouse in Paso Robles California. I had the choice between sausage, bacon or vegan. I prefer the sausage breakfast burrito. The salsa and the lemon wedge add a nice touch. Next time, I will have the breakfast burrito again... they are delicious. STAFF The staff are warm and friendly, willing to go out of their way to satisfy the customer. Every time I have gone to this coffee shop in Paso Robles the owners has been present. Three stars for the AMAZING evening piano bar atmosphere. Coffee? For the 4 of us it was not earth shattering....in fact it was average. We each had some thing different and each had a different temperature. Mine was lukewarm which was off putting. Flavors were average. Wanted to love it. Perhaps a second visit would be good....it was certainly worth that. I am editing and adding 1 star due to the managements response to me. We stop in for coffee daily every time we visit Paso. Their Mocha Oaxaca is my morning vacation treat. So delicious! We've tried a few of their food items - the ham croissant being our favorite (although no longer on the menu). Food portions are large - plenty for my husband and I to share. Service is always friendly. The staff at this shop seem to really care about the customer experience always greeting everyone with a smile. We've never had to wait too long for coffee or food. In fact, I would say they get items out quickly for as busy as they can get. I really love the ambience of the place. Seating both in and outdoors with open windows to allow for plenty of fresh air. I would love to stop in for a piano night some time, but that has not yet been in the cards for our visits. Maybe next time because we will definitely be back! read more

I used to frequent chain coffee stores for the convenience of ordering ahead or short wait times. I have decided to take the extra time and enjoy my coffee run in the mornings. The gals who work here are so friendly and accommodating. I am newly pregnant and have switched to decaf which is not normal for me so I forgot to ask for decaf this morning and went up after I got my latte and was going to purchase another latte but decaf since it was my fault and the gal was very sweet to just remake my latte for me instead. The "lounge" part was clearly seen when you enter. Very unique place. Coffee was actually pretty good. Service was ok. FYI none of the staff wore masks, and the place is tiny.
