Just had our first experience at the new Anamia's on Preston in Prosper, TX. It was incredible we had the best waiter, Grant. Since there were so many great options, I asked him favorite "go to entree". Ohhhh my! He suggested the white queso, which was delicious and the Pollo con Hongos, it was incredible and a sharable size. My hubs had the fish tacos, they were just okay. The salsa, house Margarita and the team were great. Theresa was also so attentive every guest, especially noticed by us. This is a great family option. Be sure and give them a try. read more

Food was meh at best- bland, strange portions, overcooked. Service was also unremarkable. We felt forgotten quite often and it took a long time to have lunch as a result. If you're looking for a quick place to grab a bite, it's probably fine, but there are many other options in a 5 mile radius that are just better. read more

Be very careful at these restaurants!!! If you have any allergies or intolerances or deal with that. I called THREE times. All three. Times asked if the chips are GF and even explained what I meant. No shared oil. Was told yes all three times. A friend dined there and asked for us..same thing. Talked to a manager about GF options even AFTER my celiac family members ate them. "Oh...we'll we do cool flour tortillas in that oil" people that don't know allergies don't deserve to operate a restaurant. This is the prosper location!! But I'll be sharing across dice they aren't there yet. He assured me it's the same at all locations. Can't comment on food. We didn't get that far. I'll be dealing with a sick kid now instead of eating. It's not hard to be careful... many do easily. Pathetic negligence! read more

Not bad, pleasantly surprised. Fajitas were great. Nice quality skirt steak. Very lean. Chicken and spinach enchiladas were excellent. Tamales were ok...not homemade. The burrito was weak....tortilla the ground beef...about the size of an enchiladas. Chips and salsa below average. Service was awesome. I would compare it to a Rosa's Tortilla Factory. Spent the evening with friends on a Saturday night. Arrived around 5:45 and got a table for 4 with no waiting. It ended up filling up and then by 6:30 it emptied out so we ordered another round (more on that later) since no one was waiting for a table. By 7:00 it was full again! We started out with Top Shelf Margaritas and these were the tastiest ones I have had in this area! We all got some form of enchiladas and for the most part they were all really good. I got Spanish rice, hubby didn't and the menu said rice and beans...he wished he could have chosen. Same with the beans...he got black refried beans with a bit of flavor, mine were the gray/brown ones and not as tasty...I would've chosen the black had I known there were different kinds. That's my reason for only 4 stars. Did I mention we really liked the margaritas?!?! Be sure to give them a try. And German was our server and was marvelous!! Lots of fun and does a nice job. Side note: we left our CC there and realized it the next day and they had it there waiting for us. read more

I am out of town working and was craving tex mex so I came here. The food was very good, but the service was even better. I was welcomed and was waited on perfectly. The staff is amazing and got my food out quick!! Will definitely be returning! read more

Great little spot close by. Hubs and I split the fajitas for one. By the time we snack on chips and guac it's more than enough. Sometimes the beef is chewy because it's cut wrong but it's not a deal breaker. read more

Went for a Mother daughter lunch, we were greeted and sat quickly, served chips and salsa, it completely ended there. 15 mins later we walked out after being looked at by other servers, yet never being approached by a server for us. This was 1:30ish, with about 5 other tables occupied, and whom were either eating or done for the most part. What a disappointment and disaster of our quality time. read more

We ate here for dinner and had a good experience. The entrance faces east so there was plenty of shade from the building to stay cool while waiting to be seated. Our waiter was top notch, and the fajitas were good. We ate outside which was nice except for some annoying flies. read more

We thought we give this place a shot since it just open , the service was good but not great, no appetizer plates until I asked for it, we barely had any room on the table for our food since no dirty dishes where picked up, the atmosphere was nice , we sat out in the patio and it wasn't too hot. Its family friendly, wasn't super crowded. Food- Chips and Salsa- Chips are crunchy and crispy, salsa was kind of bland. Chicken tortilla soup barely had any chicken , it was more broth. I had to add lime , salt and Valentina sauce . They don't have Tabasco or Cholula . My husband got a Chimichanga he liked it, my daughter got Tacos, it was good, but the beans that came with it super bland no flavor. The Guac was ok, needed some salt but we added it to our liking. I got a frozen margarita its not as strong , it was more on the watery side. For $13 I would expect for it to have a bit more alcohol. I understand they are new, so well give it another try.. read more

Normally I like Anamia's, but tonight was bad. Sat in the patio and flies were constantly trying to land on our food and drinks even with the fans on. The service was Unacceptable. Very slow and unattentive! Ran out of hot sauce and asked our waiter Jaime R, and he never brought it, and I had to ask another waiter. We asked for corn tortillas and he brought flour tortillas. I asked for my bill and it took him a long time to come back, and then he had to ask me again what I had to eat and drink. Then he gave me the wrong bill and I had to chase him down to correct it. Overall, I won't be back at that location for a long time. The food was just so so and the flies plus the food and service it a bad experience. read more

This place was amazing! Gianna was a very funny, outgoing, and attentive server. She always got us things even without asking, and we will definitely be requesting her again! So glad to finally see a quality Tex Mex here in Prosper. The food: The food was excellent, everything tasted very good and the guacamole was outstanding. I ordered a beef enchilada, chicken enchilada with a crispy taco, rice and beans, perfect! The hot sauce and Pico de Gallo was spot on too. I'm ordering the beef fajitas next time and hope they are just as good. The service: The service was excellent with no lack of help and everyone was very nice. The plate portions are big and very delicious. The waiter was very friendly and very efficient on keeping us updated on our food. The place it's self is very comfortable and gives out good vibes. There were a few hiccups but they were easily fixed. I will be going back. read more
