Perfect spot for a fast work lunch that is filling but not too heavy. I got the salmon bento. It was way too much food for me, but allowed me try a little bit of everything. Ca roll, shrimp tempura, gyoza, veggies, and, of course, salmon teriyaki with white rice. Everything was fresh and well made. The salmon stood out. They put a dry rub, optional sesame seeds, and some teriyaki sauce, but not too much teriyaki sauce. (I hate it when restaurants put too much teriyaki sauce.) Probably the best salmon teriyaki I've had yet. The ambience was a fast food type of place. Very clean and easy going. The warm orange colored walls and friendly staff were very welcoming. I told the staff that I traveled from Las Vegas to eat there first on my trip to California. The beef was finely cut and the chicken was tender and didn't taste burnt at all. The sushi was simple yet delicious and it also came with wasabi and pickled ginger. the gyoza was pretty good. The shrimp tempura was crunch, fluffy, and light & who could mess up a salad. Although I wish they had more salad dressing options the thousand island dressing complimented everything else very well. Came in at 7:35pm and cashier is telling everyone that she's only taking orders to go. Telling them if we stay here other people will see and want to come in as they will close in 5-10 minutes. Ridiculous as this place clearly states it closes at 8pm. Our order is being made to go as I'm writing this review. This is unacceptable and we were told the manager that is here now agrees to it, one of the workers that was cleaning the table asked if I wanted to speak to the manager and I heard her call out, but no one came out. This place offers very good food but actions like this can bring it down negatively as it's basically turning people away from dining in. I came in Thursday 3/20/25.
