I know it's a chain now but this is by far my least favorite location. The music here is too loud and the staff just bang the metal chairs together to make it super uncomfortable to be here. The staff seem to be looking at the ingredient menu when they are making the pizza and the selections have been getting worse. I got the chicken parm and I was not impressed. This place was delicious! The restaurant is on the sidewalk side of the shopping center and parking is a bit hectic on that side, but there's a lot of businesses there so that's too be expected. You walk in and all of the different options are listed on the screen. There's just one size but it was more than enough for me. I ordered a white pie with chicken, then added goat cheese, arugula and pesto. The pizza cooked quickly, so it was the perfect quick lunch spot. An employee at this location try to advance himself onto me, and has done this multiple times unprovoked. He does this even outside of the store in the Bradley shopping area. He often calls me by name. Upon seeing him this morning, he questioned me on why I'm not in school at the time that I was at Bradley. I asked him why he needed to know seeing as he is not my parent. He then tells me it's because we are friends. I am not friends with him. He should not want to be friends with me soon as he is a grown adult. I told him we are not friends and then he proceeds to tell me we can either be friends or he will ban me from the store. I then told him I am a junior in high school and upon obtaining that knowledge, he the goes "oh". I do not know this employee's name, but his nature and demeanor was very pedophilic and severely offputting. Hiring predators gives you guys a bad rap. I would more selective when employing people, especially because in that area there are mostly children or people under the age of 18 and the fact that I had to experience this says a lot about how you employ people. New location and they did a grand opening special: free pizza and drink! We saw the line down the sidewalk when we pulled up but I'm glad that didn't discourage us. There was some social distancing and people were wearing their masks. They only allowed a certain number of people in at a time and an employee passed out menus and answered questions while we waited. Inside, more social distancing with a clearly labeled floor. I hope that stays even post- covid! Everything was nice and bright, music was playing and they had lots of employees working to get those orders out. I was a little concerned with the noise level that it would be difficult to be heard while ordering but they got everything right with minimal repetition needed. Considering the crowd size, the noise level and amount of orders, the staff kept their energy up and were attentive and friendly. The quality of the pizza did not suffer due to this promotion either. I think this place will make a nice addition to the Bradlee shopping center. read more

Driving through Washington, D.C., we were very hungry. Upon searching for the closest pizza place to our location, we stopped here. The restaurant is very modern and clean! It was fun to design our own pizzas, especially since they offered vegetarian options! The pizzas were incredible! I love &pizza, but this location absolutely sucks when it comes to mobile ordering. Every time I mobile order, it takes them 30+ minutes to finish it, and will always serve people in person before getting to the mobile orders. It's so insane and is absolutely not like this at other locations. You're better off ordering in person or going somewhere else. read more

POOR QUALITY CONTROL!!! I have ordered a few times but I this was the last time. Expensive piece of bread. My pizza that was supposed to have arugula and goat cheese was delivered with one leaf of arugula and almost NO goat cheese and I specified extra goat cheeses. This location is largely inconsistent with regard to accuracy and timeliness. Rarely are orders ready on time as estimated. This was my first order from $pizza, and I was very disappointed. I ordered a pizza with grilled onions, roasted peppers, mushrooms and a garlic drizzle. I got a pizza with pepperoni and a few small pieces of onion. Very little cheese and an uneven and tasteless crust. If the idea is to provide multiple toppings, if the onion on my pizza was any indication, there's too little of the topping to even count. I've tried giving this specific location two opportunities to prove itself. The first time I ordered in person. The staff was rude and the pizza took a long time to make. The second time I ordered online. Despite the webpage stating that my order could not be processed, I got messages from a weird number stating that my pizza was ready. I thought it was spam because there was no way &pizza could have MY order since it wasn't processed. A few days later, I noticed the charge on my credit card. Worst &pizza pizza i have ever had. We have eaten at various &pizzas over several years and they have always been relatively generous with toppings. We ordered delivery--maybe they were extremely skimpy bc we were not there to observe them being made as we have in prior dinings with other branches of the restaurant. There was 2 in of crust untouched along the perimeter of the pizza (which is significant for a narrow pizza like they make) and only the very inner 3-4 in had scant toppings. This location though keeps their music so loud they can not hear people - annoying since you have to speak through the whole ordering process. Haven't tried the pizza yet, but the customer service is less than stellar. Placed an online order and showed up at the estimated time. Barely any customers in the place but stood there under the pick up sign for about 10 minutes with with the two workers glancing over at me but continuing to check their phone and ever so slowly prepping some dough. I finally approach them and ask about my order and they tell me it's not even started. Meanwhile, they seem to be putting through walk ins right away. They told me they are the only two working. So, I get it, they are understaffed as so many places are these days. No problem, but just let the customer know what's going on. Updating to say the pizza is actually pretty good. Tasty crust and the garlic knots were light and delicious (though some were burned). Toppings could be more generous. read more

Pizza is good. Never order ahead, it will never be ready on time. This is the second and last chance I've given them. Ordered online before 7pm for a pizza to be ready at 7:25 pm. Was not ready for 1/2 hour after that time. No one works specifically on the to go/order ahead orders, they just get to it after walk ins leave. There weren't even that many walk ins. I went to the &pizza at Bradlee when they first opened and the pizza was awesome. I was recommending it to my friends family and neighbors. Unfortunately when I went there again recently the pizza was mediocre at best ... flat and cold. So disappointed. Will not be going there anymore nor will I be recommending. I've learned that restaurants hire the best when they open a new restaurant and then those people move on.
