The only issue with this pizza place is that it's not a pizza place! It's a flat bread place! The flat bread is delicious! I tried the Farmers Daughter and Moonstruck. Both were wonderful combinations. Essentially you come in and make yourself a custom flat bread any way you like it with great ingredients like pepperoni, goat cheese, shrimp, eggs, etc I liked that you can do the pizza half and half so you can try two variations. The sodas are custom so there are no usual products that we come to expect from Pepsi and Coca Cola. This is always quite annoying to me as I am a fan of Diet Coke. I love &pizza and have been to many locations before. However, my experience ordering online from the Reston location today through DoorDash has been a huge headache. My pizza did not have ANY toppings or sauce from the second half of the pizza making process. Basically, they put it straight from the oven to the box and gave it to the DoorDash guy for delivery. If I wanted to pay over $10 for a pizza without Hot Honey sauce or all the other great toppings here I would have ordered from another place... alas, I did not want Dominos or Papa Johns, I just wanted my usual create-your-own &pizza. Also, due to DoorDash's poorly designed app I couldn't even properly resolve the order mistake. But this wouldn't have been an issue if the staff at &pizza took more care into making my order accurately in the first place. I've walked-in to eat at this location before as well and that was fine since I was able to stand there and make sure they make my pizza correctly. I'm so happy they finally opened an &pizza in Reston! Not a huge fan of the fact that the location is in Reston Town Center, where parking isn't ideal. The pay for parking system sucks, as everyone from this area knows. But even before then, the busy, not necessarily close parking garages make this a bit harder for a quick lunch. But the restaurant itself hasn't seemed super busy since opening. I've been there two times now, once at regular lunchtime on a weekday and another time at a later lunchtime, also on a weekday. Both times, I was able to walk right up to the counter and order. The staff has always been very nice and friendly when I visit as well! The last time I went, I had received an email about a new pizza, "The Extra Helping," with short rib, mac and cheese, mozzarella, pickled red onions, and croutons. I ran in almost immediately after I got that email. I came in so quickly that the pizza wasn't on the menu and I think it wasn't even in their computer yet. But when I mentioned it, every employee answered with "ohh the new one. That one is soooo good!!" And oh, it did not disappoint. I've always been a fan of &pizza, but this is now my all-time favorite. Ooey gooey mac and cheese and added mozzarella, with tender, flavorful short rib, a crunch from the croutons, and acidity from the red onions. The manager at this location said that this pizza goes really well with the chili oil, if you like spicy. So I took his recommendation and added that. I don't think it was too spicy, but I agree it added a nice extra flavor. Next time I might add some banana peppers for more acidity and a little extra spice, but I'm also a huge lover of banana peppers. I've tried a few other pizzas at the chain, including Moonstruck, Gnarlic, Farmer's Daughter, and a few ones I created or edited from the pre-made ones. But I think after tasting The Extra Helping, I won't be branching out much anymore! Definitely a winner! read more

We been big &pizza fans for years. We were beyond thrilled when they came to Reston. Unfortunately, on three separate occasions before + during the pandemic, we've had issues ordering delivery via the &pizza app. Food is supposedly on the way but never delivered. Support is only via text message, which is very hit or miss. We live in a very quiet neighborhood and to be taken as advantage of by delivery drivers has been disconcerting. We certainly cannot say our experiences were one-offs at this point and will not being using the &pizza app again. read more

Ordered my own custom pizza - chicken, mushroom, onion, peppers. With the pizza being so thin and slices so small, wish the toppings were cut into smaller pieces - ie. chicken pieces were incredibly large, sometimes 1-1.5 inch cubes. The toppings kept falling off the pizza before I could fold the slices in half. The chicken was also really salty. Asked for extra mozzarella but doubt it was added - some slices didn't even have any cheese. Would have also appreciated if the toppings were better distributed. And the pizza was cut oddly. I was very happy excited that &pizza is branching out even more, but I was a bit disappointed with my first visit at their Reston location. The service and quality of my pizza was very sub par from when I would visit other &pizza locations... There was quite a wait for my husband and I to get out pizza since the staff was working on pizzas that were ordered ahead. BOTH staff members were occupied doing this and I wish there was an extra person to help out guests who actually come in and visit the establishment. With this being said, our pizzas ended up a bit on the cold side when we finally got to pay and sit. There was also no arugula...the toppings were just not as fresh? maybe it's because our pizza got cold. I am used to having the sauce and toppings spread throughout the dough as it is being prepared, but I had to ask for more sauce and even with that, they didn't put much. This location also skimps on toppings :( which was very NOT like any &pizza I have visited. Usually, the pizza slices end up so heavy on the toppings that I need a fork to eat my pizza with, good complain to have right? But RTC &pizza was super light on toppings and sauce... I hope this location kicks it up a bit with their service so the staff can take care of both in person and ordering ahead loyal customers, piles up the toppings and makes it rain with the fresh arugula! read more

Very hard to order a make your own pizza. There are no ingredients listed. There are no steps. For a first timer it is not an easygoing process. Sometimes you think something is something else. Sometimes you can't order a thing because it's not the right step. There are post oven finishes as well. None of them are labeled. Ordered a couple pizzas here and the service was good. Everything came out as expected. 5 stars to the workers. The problem was with the BOGO offer that wasn't in my app as the email advertised after clicking the on the link. After spending one hour with customer service which is via text, they FINALLY offered to retroactively deduct the other pizza. Obviously nobody would wait an HOUR!!! I waited 45 minutes before asking my wife who was circling the area (no parking) and used her app instead. 1 star for customer service taking an hour to resolve the issue. I'm so excited &pizza finally opened up in Reston! It provides a great addition to the fast-casual lunch places throughout the town center- we have plenty of bowl options but not enough pizza. The menu here is pretty similar to &pizza everywhere, but I did see a caesar salad pizza that looked new. All the ingredients looked fresh and the employees were very generous with the toppings which is always a plus. Everyone at this location was very friendly and provided great service. I did come in at a quieter time after the typical lunch rush so I'm not sure how things run when it is more crowded, but everything went smoothly for me. The store is fairly small and usually, there is a long line during lunch time. The line moves fairly fast. This week, I placed an online order to bypass the long lines and my online order took longer than if I had just stayed in line. They said their system did not show the online orders, so none of them were made. Bunch of people with online orders started piling in and we all had to fill out our orders again because neither the email or the mobile receipt showed what we ordered. The pizza was good, but the experience at the store is extremely poor. It needs to be redesigned or more staff needs to be hired to keep up with the amount of people that come in. No idea why they didn't have a record of any of the online orders, please improve the process! I would love to want to come back here again, but my 30 mins wait was not worth it in any way. read more

Delicious, interesting pizza...fast The staff is super nice and friendly and willing to work with you on whatever pizza you want. If you order a menu-item pizza, they ask you if you want to customize it or stick with what is on it normally. They are super fast with the toppings and then the pizza cooks before you have gotten up to the front of the line. They have really great craft sodas - the dark cherry cola is amazing, but the other flavors are really good and different, too. The Moonstruck with mushroom truffle, garlic ricotta, mozzarella, mushroom, grilled onion, goat cheese, and fig balsamic was amazing! The American Honey is a bestseller and really great, too. Love &pizza! I would go all the way to DC to get me some. So excited to have it now in Reston. However, the time that I went they only had the regular crust option available. This had never happened in DC!! They need to have the wholewheat and gluten free crust options at all times!! You can't assume people will be okay with ordering the regular crust. Then Had problems with order pickup. Walked in and there was one lady ahead of me. No one was greeting customer or handing out pickup order's but about a dozen people making pizzas. They keep putting them in a Warming oven but no one addressing customers and ask him if they're there to pick up. I tried the American Honey my first visit and became an instant fan! The combination of spicy and sweet is excellent. The soda selections are also really unique and tasty.
