Contacted them for a small shower remodel - Juan was great, he had no problem using tile from a different source ( we wanted to match the existing backsplash in the kitchen - some contractors flat out said NO you must use the products we sell) and in fact Juan went to Bedrosians and picked up the tile at no extra charge! The install went great - the crew was at our house when he said they would be at our house, none of the typical "sorry the guys can't be there today, they're at another job..." that we hear all too often. Top notch work, very impressed, and they took great care not to damage the brand new vanity and quartz top that is less than a year old. He listened to me, answered all of my questions, ALL of my questions. It was such a fun day going shopping for cabinets and granite. Everyone that worked on the project was professional, helpful, and highly skilled. They took care of the tiniest of details, and noticed things that needed attention, even when I didn't notice. I tried to email Mark owner to give him a chance to correct this customer service failure, but his email on the website, that I clicked from the site, was sent back. info@andersonsflooring.com. It got sent back April 27, 2024 at 6:25 p.m. I saw his harsh reply to one other yelper who gave him a one star, so I wanted to try and avoid that. The net is: Juan set up an installer to come and do a repair on some tile. The price was very high, but I agreed to it, as it is the only part not done, and the licensed plumber, doens't cut tile,and there are two openings left to allow access to the plumber to do his job. They were scheduled this week to the work. YES! Just get it done, but....wait...Juan calls the night before and says the guys have a bigger job to do, so they are cancelling. Now, this is crazy. They had the order, they committed, and another job, could start in the afternoon, and they should honor their commitment. But NO. Cancelled, to start another BIGGER job. No excuse for this type of poor service. Do what you say, honor your word. I was expecting you, and ready for you. read more

Mark Anderson at Anderson Floors took the time to thoroughly explain the many features of kitchen cabinets including construction and features like full extension drawers that we were not aware of. He was patient and answered our countless questions. Unfortunately we were unable to get out of a contract we had already signed with another contractor but we did have Mark install our quartz countertops. I firmly believe in the integrity of this man. We had paid him for the job but the next day noticed there was a slight problem with the way the counter was installed. I had received quotes from various hardwood floor installers before and the reason i decided to go forward with anderson's floors was because they went the extra mile making sure that i got all the samples i needed to make the correct decision on my floor. We just had our upstairs tub/shower replaced with just a shower by Anderson's. They did a great job and were easy to work with. Juan, who we worked with, was very thorough and helped with the process as it went on. He was always available and very helpful. They were able to finish within 3 weeks (would have been shorter if not for some plumbing issues not related to their work) and we were very happy with the finished job. 2+ years ago we contracted with Andersons Floors, Kitchen & Bath to remodel our fireplace hearth. We had a very ugly, crooked and cracked 60 year old used brick façade that was floor to ceiling and we wanted something more contemporary in our living room. I had talked to several tile installers and friends with construction industry experience and knew how it should be done. When I talked to Andersons salesman Juan Resendiz I was very specific about what how I wanted the job done and he agreed with my plan entirely. So the day for installation arrived and his tile installer is a no show. I called Juan and inquired about that and he gave some shuck and jive excuse and told me the installer would be late. Gee, no kidding. Several hours later (around 1pm instead of the agreed upon 9am the guy shows up and starts work. After an hour I went to check on him and it was clear that he wasn't making the tile base plumb before installing tiles, which Juan had specifically agreed to do. I told the installer what he was supposed to be doing and he said the owner of the business had told him NOT to install as per our agreement. So the lowlife owner of this business had taken our money and then told his installer to take a short cut, hoping we wouldn't notice. So at this point I was pretty ticked off. I called the owner of the business, Mark, and complained about his dishonest behavior and he basically admitted to breaching the agreement and said my way of doing it was unnecessary! Then he blew me off very rudely and said to take the matter up with his salesman! Wow, what an unprofessional jerk! So then I go to check in on his installer only to find that he has vanished. I called Juan and was told that the installer had to go find his cousin to help with the job. Well, thanks for keeping me informed Juan. So the guy finally shows up around 4pm and finishes plumbing up the tile base. I had to watch him like a hawk the next day to make sure he didn't cut any other corners. I only wish I could give zero stars to these dishonest clowns. read more

It's rare for me to write a negative review, but I think it's important to share both sides of the story. I had stopped by Andersons Floors based on the yelp reviews, despite being over 30 minutes away. Initially the team was courteous and Juan stopped by my house to measure for an estimate. He helped try to get custom pricing on a special tile I was interested in. I appreciated the effort. But, it took work on my part. I was constantly following up with Juan because he wasn't responding in a reasonable amount of time. I would email asking for an update, and he would reply back with a screen shot of an email to the vendor claiming he was working very hard on it when clearly the timestamp of the email was after I had reached out to him. I tried to put all that aside, because he was trying, but based on my research the proposal that he came back with was very high. I asked him about it and tried to see how we could make it work. I had not gotten any comparison quotes, and frankly didn't really feel like going through the effort. Juan's response was simply to cut and paste the terms of the proposal. There was nothing to assuage my concerns on costs, just a simple cut and paste job. I found that to be very rude. And so I got comparison quotes, and I found that the Andersons Floors proposal was more than 50% higher than the comparable. That's huge! Still wanting to give them a chance, I emailed them back with the information on the comparable quote. I wasn't even expecting a price match, but simply to play in the same ball park. I never got a response back from Juan and so I took my business to the much cheaper vendor and they did a fantastic job. read more

We have now done four projects with Mark Anderson - master kitchen, two guest baths and our master bath. In all cases, Mark was patient and worked with us on our design and schedule. He uses licensed installers most of whom have good workmanship. His pricing is somewhere in the middle - but you do get quality cabinets instead of cheap ones that easily break. Mark mostly does the flooring and cabinetry himself - for plumbing, electrical etc he will usually use another contractor or you could choose to get your own. We have done it both ways. I have always directly dealt with the owner Mark and found him very responsive over text and email - even on Sundays or holidays. There were minor issues (expected in big projects like these) but nothing that Mark did not eventually take care of. All our work was done with proper city permits and inspectors never found any issues with his work. Overall, I recommend Anderson's as a reasonably priced shop that does quality work. read more

We obtained multiple bids in January, 2015 for quartz kitchen countertops; we chose Anderson's to install Cambria, the only major brand made in the USA. Cambria's Torquay color was perfect; it also came in a jumbo slab size. Mark was pretty sure we could get the job done with just one jumbo slab. Pedro demolished the old countertop on February 9, 2015 and measured the job. He then fabricated the seven pieces perfectly! Pedro installed the countertop and new sink on February 14, 2015. There is not one thing we would change about the installation. All seven pieces fit perfectly; the cutout for the sink was exactly correct. We are very pleased with our experience with Mark and Pedro and strongly recommend this business. read more

We hired Anderson's Floorings to demo and install a new kitchen countertop and backsplash as well as new flooring, baseboards, and install a new hallway cabinet. Juan came out to our home to give us an estimate and then we met him at the showroom to pick out materials. Then, he stopped returning phone calls. I had to call the store and spoke with Mark (owner) to get to Juan. Despite my misgivings, we signed the contract and work began. Below is a list of the issues we endured each step of the way: * Work was scheduled to start on a Monday (demo of kitchen countertops), we were called at 0715 the Thursday before to see if they could come out by 0800 the same day to "expedite" our job. * Kitchen was finished on original scheduled time, that following Saturday, even though the demo started 4 days ahead of schedule and we were inconvenienced those 4 days (with no ability to prepare meals since there was no sink or countertop for the additional 4 days). * Texted/emailed Juan several times in the meantime to see when install would happen with no response. * Tile installer came to our home with a minor child while he completed work. * No communication on payment (was not on the contract either). When countertop and backsplash was completed, tile guy demanded several thousand dollars (amount exceeded the work that had been done). When attempted to get ahold of Juan, he would not return our texts calls due to a personal emergency but communicated with the tile guy on another amount. I had to call the owner in the office to speak with someone and determine how much was rightfully owed. * Oven was parked on our family room carpet without a drop cloth- grease marks were left on our carpet. Our floor was not being replaced for another 2 weeks, hence, we had to have that carpet area cleaned. * Grout cracked within 3 weeks in an area behind our sink. Anderson's DID come out to fix all the grout with a flexible grout (should have been done the first time). * Baseboards were installed but no filler for the nail holes. When we contacted Anderson's, they said they would put caulking/filler in the holes but would not paint over. We declined their offer to "fix" it and will hire someone else. * Two of our door moldings were sawed/hacked at to install floor and not repaired. * One of our new hallway cabinet doors was cracked completely through (installer didn't say anything if he noticed). Anderson's has told me they have ordered a replacement door. I would NEVER use this company again. From beginning to end it was a hassle, there was a significant lack of communication, and no real effort to correct or prevent these occurrences from happening. read more
