Call me a happy girl! We went out shopping and found this gem right near the outlets. Stopped for a quick lunch and these monster sandwiches did not disappoint. I love a greasy spoon spot that's not around just for the tourists. Outdoor seating was fine although they are right next to a car wash there so the the soap smells mixed with the food smells. I'd recommend taking your goods to go. Heads up they don't take American Express and they've got Pepsi not Coke. We stopped here on the way up to Napa for breakfast. It is a stand alone "shack" on a car wash property. We came just for breakfast. The breakfast burrito hit the spot. There was a bit of a wait to get our food, but it did not disappoint. If you have to use the restroom, it is inside the car wash. The coffee that my friend ordered was a bit disappointing. apparently, this hole in the wall/dive cafe is touted as the best burger in napa! since i'm not a burger kinda gal, it's hard to make that comparison, but i will say, their food was purrrty darn good! i ordered the chicken teriyaki sandwich on a whole wheat bun, no cheese, no mayo, light on the teriyaki sauce, and add avocado to the mix. within minutes, my sammy was done, hot off the grill, made exactly to specification. the chicken was tender, seasoned, and not overly salted. the grilled onions, fresh tomatoes, avocado slices, and lettuce rounded out the sandwich very well. i have to admit, i had some trouble eating this when i got to the center of the sandwich since my mouth wasn't big enough, so i had to use fork and knife to finish off my meal! hubby and i shared an order of sweet potato fries which were crispy on the outside, yet soft and chewy on the inside. they were probably slightly overly salted, but then again, i like my food less salty, so it was probably the standard amount. great side of fries that didn't even need ketchup or ranch to taste good! hubby had himself a burger with everything, and pretty much devoured it within minutes. was it the best burger he'd ever had? not exactly, but it was mighty tasty and well worth the price we paid. 2 sammies + side of sweet potato fries yielded a bill that was a smidge under $20. pretty good for quality burgers and sandwiches in napa! read more

This fabulous burger joint really is just a shack at a car wash. All the seating is outside, mostly 2 tops, but a few seat 4-8. Eat too many burgers and you can't fit two butts on a bench though! You're not going to Andies for the seating or the atmosphere. Believe me that's not what it's about. The burgers are what it's about and they are slammin'! Andie's burger is the one you have to check out. The garlic sauce is awesome, amazing and Andilicious. That is if you like garlic, haha. The grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, avocado and jack also contribute mightily to make this a burger worth writing home about, or a Yelp review anyway. Despite the cleverness of being able to order a combo or "frings," the fries and rings are less than spectacular. Really just average. Still, it's a four-star spot. And that's despite it having zero to negative atmosphere, the cars wizzing by on Freeway Drive on one side and cars getting washed on the other. This is simply a place you want to go to get your grub on and drive away right away. Unless you're one of the people actually waiting to get your car washed. I guess I wasn't expecting a teeny tiny spot in the middle of a car wash. We drove by three times. Once we did find it, I couldn't believe how much goodness is crammed in their teeny tiny building. I kept it basic with a grilled cheese and split an order of frings (fries and onion rings) with my honey. The sandwich, fries and onion rings were all cooked to perfection and created a nice base for the wine we tasted afterward. My honey enjoyed his loaded burger (the Andie's burger, perhaps?). I recommend going on a nice day because inside seating is limited to a small table for two and three bar seats. However, there are plenty of outside tables and we enjoyed our lunch at one of them. We found this place on yelp of course and at 4.5 stars it sounded really good. We ordered a Monterey burger and an Andies burger. Took fair amount of time. Honestly for 2 burgers 2 fountain drinks and 1 fry cost us a little more than $20. That seems to be a bit much for burgers. They weren't anything great. A dinky burger place smack-dab in the middle of a car-wash in the heart of wine country. Yup, this place is absolutely legit. A Yelp search for a quick and casual lunch spot to hit up on a Sunday in between wine tastings led us to Andie's. If you don't want to do the drive-thru (or get your car washed) there's a parking lot across the street, but you feel kind of like Frogger trying to get across the street (so be careful!). Don't drink and jay-walk! The burger here is really good. I got the Andie's Burger (~$7.67) which featured grilled mushrooms, jack cheese, and a kick-ass garlic sauce. It's the garlic sauce that really gives this burger a unique flavor that distinguishes itself from burgers from other joints. The patty itself was juicy, although a bit over-done for my taste (they never asked how I wanted the patty cooked, guess I should've been more proactive about that). It might get messy towards the end, but they do a good job wrapping the burger to prevent any freak sauce/juice dripping on yourself. There's no real indoor seating, but while in Napa you might as well enjoy the sunshine while feasting on some tasty burgers. Love the burgers here! Yum!! The western burger is a good combination textures and flavors. The bacon is super crispy and the pickles add good tartness to the burger. My patty was cooked slightly over what I ordered, so try to order a bit under what you want. The burgers get pretty messy but they are delicious! The fries are thick cut and the onion rings are pretty massive as well. They charge 25c if you want to get extra ranch dressing. Yes, Andie's is in the same lot as a car wash, so there aren't too many tables to sit at. We usually park across the street in the lot near the grassy field or close to the outlets. They also have stamp cards so you can get the 11th burger free :) read more

It not "the best burger" I ordered a Monterey burger, they didn't have any pepper jack cheese, which it was fine so I just got American cheese. We decided to come here because our friend had a gift certificate (after 3 years of sitting in his wallet) and they still redeemed it! Yay! My boyfriend and I shared the Chicken Teriyaki Sourdough Sandwich ($8), the Andie Burger ($9), and fries ($2). The Chicken sandwich was good I really liked the bread they used (even though it doesn't taste like sourdough), it held together well. Andie burger was delicious!!! Very big, VERY MESSY, only down side I didn't like about it was that the bun was pretty soggy... other than that it was a great burger! Fries are good but I would definitely spend $4 on the sweet potato fries they were to die for!!! They were super good with a chipottle sauce. Definitely a must if you come here! As for location... My boyfriend and I were looking for a casual, hearty lunch that was fast and reliable. Boy, did we make the right choice with Andies. We got two burgers with fries and chai tea latte. Rainy days call for chai and burgers apparently! Lol. Despite the odd combo, we enjoyed our food sooo much. It was filling but super flavorful. Hit the spot just right. We discovered that their restaurant is really just a small hut in a car wash area when we came to pick up the food. We didn't care too much about that because the food was awesome. I keep telling my boyfriend that we have to go back just get their chai!! It was surprisingly when of the best chai lattes I've had! Andie's Cafe has a 4.5 star rating so decided to check it out while traveling through. I opted for the highly recommended Andie's Burger. For the price, it was quite filling. As suggested, I ordered by phone. I should not have since it was not busy yet. Although they said it would take 15 minutes, it was already done in about 10. As noted in many reviews, expect a greasy bueger. Mine wasn't just greasy but very sauced up. The toppings included an abundance of sliced pickles but scarce on the sauteed mushrooms, grilled onions and one or two small chunks of avocado. The burger itself tasted delicious but there was an off taste to almost every bite. At first it was the pickles which monopolized the toppings but after I removed about 8 slices, I still tasted something off. Not sure what the flavor was. I highly recommend NOT to drink the water from the drink fointain. It tastes horrible! Makes me wonder how the rest of the sodas would taste if that is the water that was used for the drinks. The ambience is non existent. The cafe is more like a small kitchen and a counter. Seating is available outside with round tables and umbrellas as well as two seater tables for more intimate lunches. I only have three stars because although the burger was very flavorful, the toppings were mediocre. If I come back in this area, I might just go for the traditional and hopefully unadulterated cheeseburger. read more
