    Wonderful place for brunch. There was a variety of breakfast dishes and lunch. The family enjoyed the French toast, calamari, roasted red pepper soup, chilaquiles, scramble, eggs Benedict, and so much more. Everything had so much flavor and presented very beautifully. The service was amazing from the hostess to the servers we were welcomed with a smile and taken care of. The patio area was so lovely and airy... you felt like you are in a secret garden. Will definite be back.

    Celadon is always great! Never had dinner here before but it was good. The menu is small but good. We started with the calamari. It was ok. The salmon with couscous and the primavera pasta were healthy choices. Simple. The sticky ribs were incredible with the best garlic fries. The wild mushroom risotto was also amazing and full of flavor. Creamy with the rice perfectly cooked.

    We had a reservation here but it took about 20 minutes for our table to be ready for a group of five. The restaurant has an indoor/outdoor feel which was unexpected- make sure you bring a sweater. It was a little sleepy here- my friend actually fell asleep at the table lol. The food was ok- my chicken piccata was wayyyy too salty. I love salt and I could barely eat it. My friends enjoyed their meals ok- especially the lamb shank. The seafood pasta and sticky ribs were just average. Undecided if I would visit again...

    I was skeptical that this place was going to be memorable, but it was very good! The walkway into the restaurant is lush and has beautiful foliage. The interior is ok - seems a little older and less interesting than the outside. I was there for a private dinner - the food was mostly very good. Standout items included: Pork belly lettuce cups Calamari (the glaze totally makes it) Truffled risotto (strong truffle flavor!) The roasted half chicken with gnocchi (Super tender and I know roast chicken doesn't sound like much, but this one was VERY good) Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would come back!

    We sat is a cute outside area since there was a party inside. There was no issues with temperature. It was comfortable. The food was good and they comp the dessert because the table next to us was extra load. This was totally unexpected and very nice of them. The service was good and we will be back.

    Food was delicious. In my opinion, menu was simple but catered to every palette. Service was exceptional and they didnt mind with food alternatives and alterations. Ps. They don't do separate checks, but did offer to split cards from the total check. I recommend bringing cash for big groups. Ambiance is beautiful, perfect spot for a brunch on the weekend.

    Made reservations for brunch with a friend. Arrived on time and it was pretty empty so we got to choose are seats. Nice indoor type of patio dining which was very nice. Service was really good for the most part. My biggest complaint is food. I ordered the chicken sandwich which the chicken was completely burnt and over done. I couldn't even eat it because it was so hard. I did tell our waiter but nothing was done. I couldn't eat the sandwich so I only ate the fries. I tried the pancakes which tasted good. I wouldn't be back as long as the chef is cooking fried chicken this way. There are way too many restaurants in Napa to choose from.

    What a fabulous evening and such a treat to dine at Celadon on a bustling Friday evening. Here for a special wine event with my family, there were a few other restaurant buy outs that evening as well. So wonderful to see a space and place so alive and vibrant early evening. Our party was seated in the back of the restaurant with easy access through the side door. We took a tour of the restaurant shortly after arrival and there's another beautiful and (huge) room with open spacing for larger parties/events. There's only one restroom inside the restaurant past the bar area (to note, wonderful drinks). After getting a code there are more restrooms outside, fyi! The food was superb and very on par for dining in Napa Valley. Celadon is located on Main Street, so not too bad for travelers from the East Bay. The passed appetizer were delicious ~ spicy calamari, apple/cheese crostini, and chicken lettuce cups. We had a curated menu to pair with specific wines for an event, so not sure if some of these items are typically on the main menu. We then had a choice of starter, main, and dessert. I chose the beet salad, the Moroccan Braised Lamb Shank (with golden raisin and toasted almond couscous), and the bread pudding. The way the meat pulled off the bone so delicate and juicy..perfection. We also had a pasta course that paired with one of the wines I noticed was on the menu ~ the fusilli pasta with bolognese sauce. Hearty, comforting, and so flavorful. My husband ordered the Grilled Allen Brothers New York Steak and for me, the scalloped potato accompaniment stole the show..so rich and decadent, yum! Honestly all in all, the spot is so special and quite the Napa to-do. We felt honored to have been invited to such a well executed event to this spot that we may have not been able to try otherwise. Wonderful staff in such beautiful digs. Dreaming about that lamb shank, highly recommend if looking for a night out in celebration.

    This place is definitely a vibe! I came to Napa like everyone else to have good wine and good food. This place is definitely it!! We made reservations ahead of time as we were told it can get busy at times. The place was nice and quiet with a farmhouse rustic touch but nothing short of elegant. A friend and I ordered the sangria for cocktails and it was one of the best sangrias I've had! the pork loin with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts and topped off with bacon. I got the Marsala sauce on the side and it was heavenly!! The pork loin was tender and cooked to perfection, the mashed potatoes were creamy and the Brussels had the perfect roast and perfect amount of crunch. The bacon was a great touch as well. The food was delicious and I'll definitely come back to try other dishes or order the pork loin again!

    Dinner itself was great. Service service was a bit spotty as they had a large event in one section and I think they were a bit understaffed in the area where we were eating. You could see all of the employees really hustling and trying their best. My scallops (nightly soecial) and his lamb shank were good. The sweet coconut fried prawns were good.

    This restaurant is wonderful. I went on a girls' night out, but it's perfect for date night as well--the ambiance is amazing for that. The food was great! All of us loved our food, from the salad to the ribs, the NY steak & butternut squash risotto, which is what I got. The chocolate cake was also great! I have to give a special shout out to the complimentary bread dip (I think it's a balsamic sauce). Best thing I've ever had with bread. I even asked if they sell it in a bottle lol. The manager, Alex, checked on us to ensure we were okay, and RJ, our waiter, was wonderful. He is very professional and understands the menu, giving wonderful recommendations, and checking in periodically to ensure we are comfortable and doing okay. Perfect for your next trip to Napa!

    You definitely need a reservation. Celadon has one of the best outdoor patios in downtown Napa. So, it's a favorite for many!

    Is this a good restaurant for an anniversary dinner?

    Yes! This would be the perfect spot. Food is phenomenal and very cool atmosphere. My sister and I sat in the back pathway area that was botanically covered. Cool scenery and great food.

    Is reservation needed?

    Not unless they are busy, but you can make reservations on opentable so it's very convenient

The oysters were very good, the best that I've had, one of my favorites. The side order of fries were fresh and crispy and pairs well with the ketchup and cheese sauce, so delicious. The entrees: the halibut (very soft and delicious), the spaghetti with shrimp and clams (big portion and very delicious and fulfilling), and lastly, the lasagna (the meat was very dry, but the lasagna tasted very cheesy. Unfortunately, the lasagna was my least favorite). Overall, the ambiance is very cozy and inviting. I did enjoy my meal with the exception of the lasagna; I would be open to dining here again in the future and trying something new and also trying desert next time. Scala Osteria is a lovely gem in Napa; would definitely recommend to others!

It's like you can't go wrong with steamed mussels in a nice wine broth. So delicious and worth it. Gotta go with the oyster as well. The shrimp po boy was another that was just ok. Not like your roll that I'm used to getting but it was on a burger bun with 4 piece of shrimp. Honestly, I'd probably just order those next time. The grilled oysters were also amazing. I genuinely don't know what they put in that stew, but it was so rich, cozy, and addicting. We arrived about 15 minutes before our reservation and settled into the stunning bar for a cocktail. The bartender was welcoming and friendly, and the bar itself deserves a moment of appreciation: gorgeous stonework, soft embedded lighting, and some of the most comfortable leather bar stools I've ever had the pleasure of lingering in. Once our friends arrived, we were immediately seated in a lovely corner table in a beautiful dining room. Then the real fun began. Every single thing we ordered was exceptional. Cocktails were expertly crafted. The pork belly and watermelon appetizer was one of those dishes that makes everyone at the table stop talking for a moment. The roasted beet salad was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented. And then there was the service. Our team, Jose and Zach, struck that perfect balance between polished professionalism and genuine warmth. Our group tends to be a little cheeky, and they were great sports, engaging with us throughout the evening and making the experience feel personal without ever missing a beat. Fresh rolls appeared, accompanied by enough butter to satisfy even this butter-loving crowd (a detail that should never be underestimated). It's something far better: a timeless steakhouse delivering exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and an atmosphere that encourages you to settle in, relax, and enjoy the people you're with. As if the evening couldn't get any better, Bashar stopped by our table and spent time chatting with us about the property, its history, and the incredible effort that goes into maintaining the grounds. He was an absolute delight. He even rolled over a beautiful cordial cart and helped us finish the evening with port, salted caramel liqueur, and an another other after-dinner treat that provided the perfect finale. I was dining with three true local Napa folks who had attended various events at Cordeiro's over the years, and it was fun hearing their stories and connections to the place. So I asked if she could just sit us downstairs. ** i just want to preference while it wasn't a big deal, the tables were empty the entire time we were there. (Picture attached) We were seated at the corner of the restaurant near the front door. Again not a deal breaker but it could have been a better table. Once seated we were greeted by our amazing server Jessica. I cannot stress how wonderful she was, from beginning to end. She was so attentive and super sweet. She opened a bottle of wine that we had brought with us to celebrate. (Crock fee was $25, fyi). She even offered to pour our wine into a decanter. We started off with some appetizers, the crab cakes and skirt steak satay. OMG these two items were just absolutely delicious. So much flavor! For our entrees I ordered the chicken parmigiana with Alfredo and my husband ordered the Linguine Frutti Di Mare. Again, the food was absolutely amazing. We definitely will be coming back. If you are planning on coming to Napa I highly recommend Allegria and making reservations.

We were there on a Tuesday night and they were very busy. So glad we made reservations! Our host and server were both very pleasant and accommodating. Nice ambiance, classy, but a bit noisy. Started with a Napa Cabernet, which was good. The complementary bread was fresh and the garlic dipping sauce was good, although we prefer basaltic and oil. We generally split or do a half salad and then split an entree. We started with a split insalata di arugula which reminds us of a salad at our favorite restaurant in Eugene. Pears, walnuts and bleu cheese with arugula. It was excellent and gave us hope for the main course. Our main was penne con pollo, which they split for us (no split charge). It had a wonderful chipotle basil sauce that included sweet corn and sun-dried tomatoes. It was wonderful. So glad we went!

Our server recommended the rib eye and so it went. She was nice enough to give us some Yorkshire pudding, which was also terrific. Started off with an excellent Caesar salad, with whole anchovies. Crabmeat cocktail was fresh and tasty and the rib eye was perfect! Finished off with strawberry shortcake, which, though lacking in strawberries, was still very good. We will definitely return!

Friendly hostess. We were seated in their large, main floor open dining room. They also have a balcony and outdoor patio for dining. The magic happens in their open kitchen that is fun to watch and adds a cool element to your dining experience. Both the sommelier, Tavo, and the server, Jared, greeted us and assisted us with opening our wine that we brought to share with our friends. We started our meal with the grilled shrimp cocktail (5/5) and the crab cocktail (5/5) for the table to share. Both were fresh and delicious. Most of our table ordered steaks, I ordered the long boned pork chop (5/5), with a green peppercorn sauce. The chop was cooked to the right temperature and was clearly brined, as it was moist, tender, and had great char. We order corn, fries, and lobster Mac & Cheese for the table to share. Everyone loved their steaks and we nearly polished off all the sides. My only comment to our super tasty meal is the large baked potato ordered by one of my friends was baked way too long and was overcooked. It had been years since I had dinner last at Cole's. The food and service team are top notch as I remembered. It's definitely still the best steakhouse in Napa. I highly recommend.
