Suggest you call to make sure they are open before going there. They appear to either be on vacation or out of business.

First time at this restaurant. Stopped in around 11:30am for a late breakfast. The place was empty, which was a bit surprising at that time of the day. In fairness, it was a Wednesday morning. The dining area is spacious and very clean. For some reason, the AC was off, even though it was fairly warm in the restaurant. I sat myself down and a young lady with a nice smile came over to take my order. I asked for coffee to start. She asked if I wanted cream and sugar. I said yes. She walked away before I could tell her how much of each I wanted. She came back with coffee in a foam to-go cup. I found this odd since it was obvious that I was dining in. I expected a coffee mug. But, okay... no big deal. I ordered a sausage/egg/cheese sandwich on a croissant. After telling her what I I asked the young lady if the AC was broken. She turned and looked at the AC unit in the window, then looked back at me, smiled, and said "I don't know. It's only my third day". She then walked away. She never asked anyone else about the AC or even tried to turn it on. Luckily, one of the two ceiling fans was running. The coffee was ok. It probably had half a teaspoon of sugar. I usually take two teaspoons. I walked up to the counter and asked for some sugar (there wasn't any on the table). The nice young lady handed me exactly one packet of sugar. I said to myself "there must be a shortage" My sandwich was good. People started trickling in as it got closer to noon. Then, Andrea came in. Right away, she said hi and asked me how my meal was. We went on to have a very nice conversation. She's a truly a nice person. I found out her restaurant has been recently closed to a family tragedy and she had reopened just a couple of months ago. It was truly inspiring to hear her talk about going thru that and coming back to work. I really enjoyed meeting her. She even gave me a couple of cupcakes that her sister had made for Andrea's birthday the day before All in all, this a nice spot. The food is good. I'm guessing the young lady who waited in me was still in training. She did have a nice smile on every time I spoke to her. I appreciate it when service people smile at customers. I've driven by this cafe, oh....possibly a million times, yet never thought to stop by. You know what The Littleton Cafe reminds me of? One of those gas station/mechanic shops with an adjacent cafe you see in the movies when the young couple is on a cross country trip across Route 66. Not that I have any idea what that actually looks like....but I'm rolling with it. The cafe is strictly serving breakfast and lunch, with an early early afternoon closing time. Family run, which usually means hospitality is in full display. A two man, or shall a say woman, team running the show. Simple concept: breakfast, sandwiches, salads, baked goods, and daily specials like tacos and lasagna. The signature gobblah is absolutely delicious. As Andrea will tell you, it's the money maker. It's thanksgiving in a sandwich! Not a bad stop if you are looking for a quick bite while in the area, but it may come at a price. $16 for a sandwich, side salad and water is a bit steep. read more

A bit disappointed. Got charged for about 13 bucks for an omelette but.. it came out like a sad sad scrambled. I asked for all meat with mushrooms. It was just bacon and cheese... They got the rest of the other orders wrong as well.. not most likely coming back.. :/ read more

Terrible. This place is never open and I found a pubic hair in my food.

I tried to go here a few Saturdays ago with a friend. We met there at 10:45 am only to find that the door was locked, no lights on, and the place was clearly closed(rather unexpected for a Saturday). We ended up going back on the highway to find another diner. If someone posts a more recent review and it's open, we would be open to trying again read more

I cannot speak about the food as I have never tried it. I have called the number on the website and printed menu, to try to order take-out. For two weeks in a row now I only to get no answer and dumped into a voicemail box that is full. When I inquired on Facebook about a faulty phone a week later I find my comment was deleted. I guess they have plenty of business and are not looking for new customers. Pity, I'm seeing a lot of reviews saying the food is good. I guess I will never find out... read more

Not much of a selection but the two lunches we had were great. Turkey was fresh carved, not lunch meat. Comes with a bag of chips. Not huge portions, just enough. Seemed like a townie lunch place. I would go again as would my daughter. read more

I came here today because I was going to get lunch while my car was being inspected. Went up to the door and the lights were off and it was locked. Hours said 6-2, and it's only noon. I always love the food which was a shame because I couldn't get any today. hours need to be updated and more specific if they don't want customers to be upset. read more

IGNORED! This was my second attempt to eat at this breakfast / lunch place. A couple of weeks ago, I stopped by at 11:55 AM on a Saturday and was told they close at noon on Saturdays. A lunch place that closes at noon? I went back on Friday May 18, 2018 at 9:10 AM for breakfast. I grabbed a table and started to read my newspaper. The waitress never made eye contact. Never gave me a menu. Never offered a glass of water or coffee. Never acknowledged me. I felt invisible. I kept trying to catch her eye but no luck. When she cleaned the table close to me and I still couldn't catch her eye I knew it was hopeless. At 9:30 AM, I finaly gave up, went up to the front counter as asked why I wasn't served. The grandmother waitress with the bedazzled baseball cap and kitten sweatshirt made a feeble apology and said "Sorry Honey, I didn't see you" I'm 6'1", 250 lbs., so I'm kind of hard to miss. The cook said, "Sorry. we're busy" This place has 9 tables tops and the 2 on either side of me were empty. They may have been busy but not from waiting on their customers or preparing breakfast. Great stop while traveling. Easy to get to with plenty of parking. The ladies in this little cafe are friendly and quick. The breakfast menu isnt very big but everything we ordered was great. The vegetables in my omelette were fresh and cooked perfectly. I enjoyed watching regulars stop in to pick up their orders and catch up. If we pass through again I'd like to try their vegetable wrap. I stopped in for lunch today, traveling on business and looking for a unique place to eat - where I've never been to before. A quite cozy atmosphere with a quaint menu so I tried the special Gobblaha turkey dinner sandwich. Needless to say I was blown away. It is the best I've ever had in any restaurant, and I have traveled North America for many years and found this to be the best turkey dinner sandwich I have ever had - and I don't say this lightly. The sisters who run the restaurant use their mothers recipe for the stuffing, there's lots of fresh roasted turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce on great fresh bread. This place is a gem and in my travels if I'm close I will be there again. You won't be disappointed~ read more

My three year old calls this "Andrea's House" and loves to stop in for a snack and a hello! That is how comfortable everyone makes you feel here. Andrea and crew are so warm, kind and welcoming. Good coffee, muffins, sandwiches and daily specials. Right now, during the corona stay at home orders, we were able to get two amazing Gobblah sandwiches to go and they were amazing! I went next door to get my car fixed and he said I could wait in here while my car was being done, and that I didn't have to order anything. When I walked into the cafe they also said I didn't have to order anything if I was just waiting for my car. I felt like that was weird and I was a little hungry so I decided to get an everything bagel with cream cheese and orange juice. It was good, your average bagel. They serve their meals on paper plates which is different, but to each their own. Other people had meals that were bigger and they looked delicious. The cashier and the cook were very friendly and kind to their customers. There are only 7 tables so it is fairly small, but it is nice and quiet. I will definitely order a bigger meal if I am ever in the area again. read more

My standards for a breakfast diner are simple. Good food, good coffee, and good service for a reasonable price. Andrea possibly has the best service around. Slam dunk here! Coffee is mediocre, but not bad. Food is great for what she's able to do. Sadly, due to her location, she's unable to have a Fry-o-lator, and therefore, no home fries. She makes do with hashbrown patties, which aren't bad. But she makes an awesome meal, knows her customers like nobody's business. Even when she hasn't seen you in a while, she remembers who you and what you like and has your order out within minutes of taking it. I'd love to see what Andrea could do with a full-scale restaurant set-up! This place is a town treasure! read more

I stepped into the Littleton Cafe and enjoyed a wonderful BLT and coffee, while watching Governor Baker's inauguration on a low-key tv. Delightful spot! Just had one of the most unpleasant breakfast dining experiences of my life. I had just picked up my daughter at 7:00am after her first day of work and we celebrated by going out to breakfast. We tried Andrea's as it was nearby at we had never been there before. It's a small place with about 5 or 6 tables. The waitress was very friendly and brought over our coffees which were quite good. We both ordered 3 egg omelettes with bacon, spinach, mushrooms and cheddar cheese. They arrived reasonably in about 10 minutes with toast and hash browns. About two thirds of the way though my omelette I noticed that there was a small portion (1 - 2 tbsp egg whites) that was clearly uncooked. Since I was near the of the meal I put that aside and finished. I then noticed my daughter had not finished her omelette. She said she had found uncooked egg and an eggshell chip as well and left about 3/4 uneaten. She indicated to me she did not wish to eat it or have a replacement. I told the waitress of the issue and she said she would tell the owner/cook. I expected in this situation at least an acknowledgement of the problem and some compensation at least for my daughter's largely un-edible omelette. When I asked at the counter if I could receive some partial compensation I was met by a full on verbal assault by the owner on why I didn't make it "immediately" known there was a problem. Quite simply it was only near the end of the meal when we compared notes that the same problem was apparent. I have cooked for over 40 years and made hundreds if not thousands of omelettes. Problems happen to everyone. This person chose to view it as an attack on her establishment. I merely wished to pass on feedback to a problem and some acknowledgement that they were sorry. I was polite and courteous throughout, the same cannot be said of the owner. Needless to say I will never be returning to this establishment and would recommend you avoid it as well. read more

This café was a lucky find off of I-495 N. The owner, Andrea and her mother, create a delightful experience for this little café. The breakfast menu is limited to breakfast sandwiches and omelette choices, but that shouldn't hold you back as both were excellent choices for me and my wife. I know will be stopping at this café again on our way through the area to or from Maine. read more
