Where do i begin? The owner Andy is quite the character. I took my sons bike to get his seat fixed and have the chain put back into place. I was asking for same day service because these were minor things. He told me I would have to leave the bike and he would call in a few days when the bike is fixed. I told him I need it same day because my son rides to school. He says to me that if I thought his business was like McDonalds fast food service and that this what happens when you buy bikes at Walmart. What a POS to make such comments. Awesome cycle shop! I purchased a pair of cycle shoes there about two years ago, and the customer service was AMAZING. He took his time to thoroughly explain how to wear/use them and made sure they were comfortable. Last week, my clamp got stuck in a cycle at my gym. I brought them in to see if they could be repaired, fully expecting to pay for it, and he didn't charge me a dime...two years after my purchase. That's what customer service is all about! I brought a pair of faulty rims for replacement 1.5 years ago and am still waiting. They only care to get your money and then tough shit.

Enter this local bike shop at your own risk. I was greeted by an older man who was rude and clueless about road bikes. He introduced me to what seemed like his grandson who wasn't the sharpest bike shop mechanic. I watched him attempt to repair a kids bike and fumbled around a wheel like it was just invemted. I asked him if he sold any other brand road bikes besides Trek. He mentioned Haro and then showed me a catalog of Masi road bikes. Of course once I started asking questions about components and pricing he handed me the catalog and walked away. Then enters Andrew. The young boy/ grandson misconstrued my curiousity in other brands they carry and says to Andrew...and I quote...he wants to buy a Masi road bike. Holy shit. This guy Andrew was all over me like stains on a mattress. He called me into his disgusting office and starts flipping through online images of bikes he claimed he could get his hands on but all had big red letters "sold out" next to them. He did ask what my budget was and I said under $1,000. He showed me bikes $999 and above. Okay $999 is below $1,000 but after tax it's not. He didn't ask one question about my needs or anything about my cycling experience skill level. Andrew will push and push and push to sell you a bike without taking measurements or understanding your needs. I stayed longer then I wanted to because he wouldn't stop trying to sell me a bike. Andrew is awesome though because he told me he sold someone a bike yesterday who came in to buy a road bike for his wife. Way to go Andrew!! He didn't even offer to shake my hand when he followed me out the store. I will never go back and hope you have a better experience if you do enter this local bike shop. I can only (or barely) give this place 2 stars, though the quality of their work is good and pricing is very fair. The problem is their customer service is piss-poor. I have been here a few times and it's pretty consistent in service level. The father is hard to deal with, in attentive and becomes argumentative even if you're just trying to GIVE them business! The son is a little more customer focuses but not enough to make up for the father's poor attitude. And their timing is horrible. In my most recent visit I left my bike here for 5 days for them to check over and advise if anything is needed. When I came in to pick it up all they had done was air up the tires.. not even given it a road test. I had to wait for them to fix things that should have been done 5 days earlier. I've given these guys enough chances and will look for another bike shop next time around. read more

This shop is so terrible!!! If it was possible to put zero stars I would. I just moved into the area, I am a local bicycle enthusiast who commutes by bike to work everyday. I entered this shop in dire need of a new bicycle because my bike got stolen. I walked up to the counter to be greeted by old man Andy... he is extremely rude and discourteous, and his poor hearing did not help much either. It might have been me, but it also smelt really bad in this store. My journey into this store really got interesting when he then introduced me to his son "Drew". Drew has absolutely zero knowledge about bicycles. Like his father he also has poor hearing so i had to keep repeating myself... i told him what i was looking for, and he asked me what my budget was and proceeded to show me a few bikes. He kept babbling about different components on the bikes, which he clearly did not know anything about. He was not much much. He then jumped around proceeding to show me different bikes that were way over my budget...upsale..upsale..upsale.. I felt like a child was trying to sell me a high quality "Trek" bicycle. Honestly I was actually interested in a few bikes, i managed to sit on a few and they were perfect for me. Then Drew asked me "if i was even ready to purchase right now or was i just looking" i told him earlier that i was in dire need of a new bike.. I choose not to purchase from them due to this situation. It was a very big disappointment going into this small family owned bike shop. A few hours later I ended up down the street at new jersey cycles where I purchased my new Cannondale, at least the staff there was very professional and able to help me out. read more

I agree with Michael S. The guy inside needs some serious Viagra. He's not really happy. I bought a 6$ spoke wrench that costs 1$. When I called to ask why he told me to shop at k-mart. They're not big on customer service. I would give them just one star but I purchased a pretty cheap bike....so cant really comment read more
