The treats here are good, the people are friendly and the service is fast. The drive-thru is convenient, especially during these weird times. They either have a live person working the line, or during less busy times, you just order at the window. The custard is tasty by itself (just get chocolate or vanilla in a cone or dish)... and you can upgrade a bit to a crunchy waffle cone. If you want something more exciting, they have a variety of sundaes, concretes, shakes, sodas and "jackhammers" -- concretes with a hot fudge (or other topping, I guess) center. They have an app and a rewards program. I don't think you can order ahead on the app... and I'm not sure you'd want to since they kick things out so fast anyway... and who wants a sundae that's been sitting around waiting for YOU?? This location is good... just a note that the staff are wearing masks, but I didn't see a single customer wearing a mask in the non-drive thru line. We love this place for a sweet treat. They have so much to choose from on their menu and everything we have gotten has been delicious. They have someone come to your vehicle to get your order so it's a more personable experience. I also love the building lights make sit easy to find. My favorite is the snow monster for sure. This location is horrible. Half the time the order is wrong the other half they put hardly any toppings in that are all just on the top and plain ice cream on the bottom, not worth the price. This time also paid extra and got a large and received the same amount as I do when I get a medium. Very frustrating, would not recommend this location. I've been going to Andy's for a few years, since they opened up a location just 1.5 miles from my home in Mesa. They are a quality frozen dessert stop with a number of treats to satisfy that sweet craving. Over time I have tried their milkshakes, frozen custard concrete mixes, cones, and sundaes. Everytime I take away a good tasting treat. The custard is very creamy, rich and chilled. Some mix ins loke fruits are perfect to combine with custard. The milkshakes are likewise thick and handspun. Price wise I think that this sweet stop is a little more than getting desserts elsewhere, but since custard is pretty unique, I don't mind paying a bit more for the higher quality. The custard is good. I was pretty disappointed when we ordered a make your own jackhammer tonight. Our previous visit, our first ever, we had the James Brownie which was pretty good and the pieces were well mixed in. We communicated that we wanted the butterfinger pieces mixed in, they were placed on top. I asked why, and the staff informed me it was because jackhammers have bits on top only, so we should have ordered a concrete.
