After moving our daughter into her new apartment we found ourselves far from any of our favorite restaurants. We found Angels China House on Yelp and decided to give it a shot. The building doesn't look like much from outside but there was plenty of seating in a large open room. The menu is filled with all you favorite standard Chinese menu options. We started with some delicious crispy chicken wings. Wifey got some bubble drink and we enjoyed munching away. The meals were served up with rice and everything came out perfect. I got my standby General Tso chicken and the boys got Orange chicken. I think they might be 75% orange chicken at this point. No complaints all around. The servers were attentive. The food was tasty and we now know where to go when we return to Elgin again. read more

Angel's China House is a new Chinese restaurant in Elgin TX. Don't let the bad reviews fool you because honestly the General Tso Chicken is the best one in town. The chicken is lightly touched fried but crispy and juicy. You can taste the chicken and the flavor is pretty good! You can pick steam or fried rice with meal. The fried rice was okay and lacked the smoke soy sauce flavor. We also go the king pao chicken. The veggies are fresh and the cookery was great. Veggies still have a crunch and not over cooked. The flavor was decent but needed some more heat to it. The chicken was a bit dry because I think they over cooked the chicken breast thin slices. With the modifications of those two, this will take that Kung pao chicken to the next level. The crab Rangoon was good with the sweet and sour sauce. Super crunchy. A little but more cream cheese would make it better. The hot and sour soup is the best one in town. Love it! Just wish they gave fried wontons or make some to go with it. We are not sure if they provide crunchy wonton with the soups. Do you recommend this place? Give this place a chance and try it for yourself! Sorry but not that impressed. Had the luncheon portion of Orange Chicken which came with Hot and Sour Soup, Fried Rice and an egg roll. The Orange Chicken was ok, a bit too much sauce. The Hot and Sour Soup was good, just not temperature hot. The Fried Rice was tasteless and the egg roll, not memorable. Surprised that when I asked for hot mustard, I was brought plain mustard. I then asked again for hot mustard and I was told they don't carry that. Service was excellent and that is why the review is a 3. Probably will continue to frequent my favorite Chinese restaurant in Elgin, Little Beijing. read more

Do not get the coconut curry chicken I repeat do not get The coconut curry, chicken, The sauce, looks like shit and it taste like shit, but other than that the fried rice. The Wong soup was good. The service was horrible. The lady asked us what sides do we want we told her the sides, but she did not tell us that they're cost extra money. Horrible service, horrible communication. Very glad to find good Chinese in Elgin. We had the dumplings (very good), combination fried rice (excellent) and the orange beef. The sauce on the beef was very good but the beef was a little chewy - didn't keep us from polishing it off. We will definitely be back. read more

It's a new restaurant in town and it's disgusting. found hair in my food, they forgot my little egg roll. i had ordered sweet and sour chicken you would expect it to be cooked together well IT WASNT they just heated up frozen chicken you can get at walmart or heb cut up A BIT OF onion and green bell pepper but didn't even cook it or anything just threw it in the box with the chicken and called it a day then gave me the sweet and sour sauce on the side? and the fact the food just tasted dirty like very unfresh in my opinion but for some reason left me a plastic fishy taste? how can a restaurant be so new yet taste so gross! if you're looking for a chinese restaurant just go to little beijing!!! read more
