Rotated my tires, said I was good there for at least 10,000 more miles. Changed the oil, and said i did not need new brake pads. When we explained that the new price was much more than we had planned for and that we would need to pick up the car and figure something else out, the situation became very uncomfortable. When we arrived to get the car, the owner, David, was extremely aggressive and confrontational. His tone and behavior felt intimidating and bullying. We repeatedly asked him to simply give us the keys so we could leave. After several uncomfortable exchanges, he finally returned them, but continued to be confrontational. We ended up going to another shop less than a mile away, where the same service was completed for about a third of the price. On top of that, he told me the broken stud was "no big deal" and that he knows someone who drives around with multiple broken studs - which was extremely concerning to hear from someone responsible for vehicle safety.
