I was definitely pleased with everything except the small side portions. Super expensive, but well worth it. Kid friendly most definitely considering it being loud. Another plus for me was my toddler really enjoyed coloring on the table paper covering. It kept him busy so daddy and I can enjoy our food!! We ordered the snow crab legs, lobster (but the inside of it was so gross and it wasn't for me to eat) but overall it was good. Amazing cab! Stellar service. My wife and I have been fans of ACS since first trying the place in Phoenix. The style of cooking with the boiling bags filled with spices is superb. Messy as heck! But, so worth it. We usually order the king crab and Dungeness, but have also had the snow crab. All have a different flavor that compliments well with the Trifecta sauce that we go with at 3-level heat. I usually have them throw in sausage for my bags, which gives an extra smoky flavor to the crab. The kids get the chicken fingers and the fried shrimp, then share. Service is pretty quick and I give them props for keeping drinks filled. It's a lost skill with service people these days. We'll be back. Again. And again. I LOVE this place, from the drinks to the food. The only issue is the one Caucasian heavyset waitress. They need to get rid if her, before she runs off all of their business & regular customers. When I go back next week I will add her name to update this review. She's rude, condescending, very very slow & comes off lazy. This place is half as good as the other locations. Don't come here if you want to wait 2 hours take out for your food. The staff couldn't even keep tabs on their customers in line waiting to order take out... we ended up waiting 45min just to order. We got mussels, shrimp, sausage, jumbalaya, and corn. The corn was the best part, but you really can't mess up corn. The shrimp and mussels weren't the freshest but I can't expect much being that we're in the desert. The sausage wasn't bad either. Even if the shrimp was subpar quality, I usually expect the sauce at these locations to make up for it but they even messed it up here! Our sauce was like 60% oil.... They didn't even text us to get our food so when we picked it up and drove 10mim back home it was already lukewarm. At least the staff was nice right?? NAH. My review might be biased because I love angry crab and I had been craving it for months but as always, angry crab did not disappoint. We were seated quickly and our waiter automatically gave off good energy. I ordered a seafood boil with a pound of EZ peel shrimp, trifecta sauce, and level 3 spicy. I had sausage and potatoes as add-ons. I also make sure to have them bring lemons on the side. It adds such a good flavor. If you're going to eat here prepare to get messy although this location gave me gloves to eat with which was a nice change! This is my favorite seafood place since moving to Arizona. My recommendation is to have the cajun fries as the appetizer then have the pound of crab legs in the Trifecta sauce with medium spice and don't forget to add the sausages and potatoes​. I have to say I came here with my kids and best friend and it's One of my favorite restaurants but I usually go to the one on 75th and cactus. This one was more in between the two of us and they had a special where you got lobster tail, snow crab, head shrimp, corn and potatoes for $39. Now I've never done their specials before but I assumed you were probably getting about a pound of each set except for the lobster tail. But in reality you got one crab but you did get a lot of shrimp and then the lobster tail. Because I came with my friend we thought we could split the $39 bag bad mistake on our part. But I guess the server could've also explained that the bag was per person. We were still hungry afterwards so we did order 2 pounds of crab and more corn. To be fair if we just had ordered the 2 pounds of crab with the corn and potato we would've been full. Now the first order actually came out really fast so originally I was thinking OK this place is completely packed but we're getting decent service and the food is coming real fast. When we ordered our second order the restaurant was slow as there was not a lot of customers my friend ordered it to go item she got that before our second order and we had put that second order in before the to go item. I mean the food quality is the same I feel no matter what store you go to which is amazing it is really good I enjoyed their crab and I love their seasoning they use. But the server I don't know if she just had a long night or if she just had too many tables but you could tell she was ready for the day to be over or she just did not really enjoy her job. And I have worked in the food industry in the past. I have to say just my impression the staff here are not as friendly as the other location. So I don't know if I will come back to this location maybe I need to just come on another day and see if maybe this was just a fluke because I think the service part was a little disappointed in. I visited this location for the first time since I moved to AZ 3 months ago and I have to say it was delicious and our waiter made it even better. Martin was our waiter and we told him it was our first time and we were from Cali and are used to a place called boiling crab so he sat down and explained the whole menu to us and suggested a new crab they have that's like the snow crab. We took his suggestion on the crab and it was exactly what he described which was delicious we had the shrimp with shell on how he suggested for more flavor and they were so good. My daughter and I chose to do the Dungeness Crab with Lemon Pepper and Garlic while my husband chose the Turkey Club sandwich and the specialty fries to share with our son. Greg was our waiter who went above and beyond to help our 9 year old son up on the high part of the wall to sign his name. We all got to sign and we left a little #VegasStrong rock at the door entrance. Food, staff, and bill were on point for a family of four and what we could eat and wanted to spend. We paid about $80 which includes three alcoholic beverages and two sodas. You get the full experience with your order so if you don't want the FULL Crab or Lobster body then this may not be the place for you. If you like a quiet place without kids, this is not the place for you! Added bonus: After you dig in and get your hands filthy dirty, they have a big sink that you can wash your hands at. We have loved Angry Crab for years and have had a great time on most visits. The most recent visit just ruined me. Few issues- the CO2 tank was out so no fountain drinks, no draft beers- not huge deal breakers but a disappointment. It's been a bit since we had been in and the inside was definitely showing signs of being run down. It wasn't dirty just not well maintained. Our server was very attentive and nice. She took great care of our group. The prices oh my have they jumped up! Hello inflation! (I know it's everywhere!) but wow that bill really took my breath away and not in a good way! The food did taste great for the most part and almost everyone enjoyed their meal- but the next day- let's just say we did not feel well at all Given the prices and being sick I think we are all ruined from enjoying Angry Crab anytime in the near future. They were out of onion rings which sucked but we got Cajun fries instead and they were amazing. Hot, fresh & crispy, not over seasoned but just perfect. Food is good, but service has definitely gone down hill since they first opened (and we used to come to this location all the time). Never imagined it to be so bad you can't get a seat at 830 pm. Apparently! this location no longer sits after 830 pm on a Saturday. There were 5 empty tables and 1 couple sitting in the waiting area w/ a 2 hr wait, but we weren't guaranteed to be seated before they closed. So we left and went to the Angry crab on Cactus. This is the 3rd time this has happened to us on a Saturday night at or close to the time of 830pm. Third times a charm! Never coming back to this location again! We are vegetarian and we had some fake fish at home, we needed some good Southern sides to accompany it and Angry Crab did not disappoint! We called in an order for the Hush Puppies, Cajun Onion Rings, Corn Bread and Cole Slaw. Everything was delicious! The Hush Puppies had a spice to them I wasn't expecting but they were so good! Corn Bread, moist and yummy! I only wish I knew the Cole Slaw was in a tiny cup, I would of ordered more.
