Amazing cab! Stellar service. My wife and I have been fans of ACS since first trying the place in Phoenix. The style of cooking with the boiling bags filled with spices is superb. Messy as heck! But, so worth it. We usually order the king crab and Dungeness, but have also had the snow crab. All have a different flavor that compliments well with the Trifecta sauce that we go with at 3-level heat. I usually have them throw in sausage for my bags, which gives an extra smoky flavor to the crab. The kids get the chicken fingers and the fried shrimp, then share. Service is pretty quick and I give them props for keeping drinks filled. It's a lost skill with service people these days. We'll be back. Again. And again. Bomb.com!!! Delish I had a craving for crab legs so made the bf take me here because I've always heard how good so I thought we'd give it a try!! I was definitely pleased with everything except the small side portions. Super expensive, but well worth it. Kid friendly most definitely considering it being loud. Another plus for me was my toddler really enjoyed coloring on the table paper covering. It kept him busy so daddy and I can enjoy our food!! We ordered the snow crab legs, lobster (but the inside of it was so gross and it wasn't for me to eat) but overall it was good. I will not be ordering the lobster EVER again We added corn in our bags and we also ordered the beans and cornbread but they were small portions which was a little disappointing. I LOVE this place, from the drinks to the food. The only issue is the one Caucasian heavyset waitress. They need to get rid if her, before she runs off all of their business & regular customers. When I go back next week I will add her name to update this review. She's rude, condescending, very very slow & comes off lazy. She doesn't write down your order & gets upset when you remind her of something that she forgot, that she should've written down. Make it make sense, sis! ‍ My family & friends avoid her when they dine in. She's like COVID-19. Nobody wants it or her. I rarely leave harsh reviews, but she's a cancer to this fine establishment. The first thing I noticed was a jam packed restaurant; always a good sign! It was a wait, supposed to be 45 but we were able to be seated within about 12/13 minutes... and it was well worth it! Seafood boils of crab lobster and head off shrimp! We all loved the food and will Definitely be back again!! read more

This place is half as good as the other locations. Don't come here if you want to wait 2 hours take out for your food. The staff couldn't even keep tabs on their customers in line waiting to order take out... we ended up waiting 45min just to order. We got mussels, shrimp, sausage, jumbalaya, and corn. The corn was the best part, but you really can't mess up corn. The shrimp and mussels weren't the freshest but I can't expect much being that we're in the desert. The sausage wasn't bad either. Even if the shrimp was subpar quality, I usually expect the sauce at these locations to make up for it but they even messed it up here! Our sauce was like 60% oil.... They didn't even text us to get our food so when we picked it up and drove 10mim back home it was already lukewarm. At least the staff was nice right?? NAH. Not even for takeout, except for the tall skinny Asian dude with glasses. Kudos to him for handling the hectic-ness with a smile. read more

My review might be biased because I love angry crab and I had been craving it for months but as always, angry crab did not disappoint. We were seated quickly and our waiter automatically gave off good energy. I ordered a seafood boil with a pound of EZ peel shrimp, trifecta sauce, and level 3 spicy. I had sausage and potatoes as add-ons. I also make sure to have them bring lemons on the side. It adds such a good flavor. If you're going to eat here prepare to get messy although this location gave me gloves to eat with which was a nice change! I wish I had pictures to share but I got right to eating so I didn't get any. read more

This is my favorite seafood place since moving to Arizona. My recommendation is to have the cajun fries as the appetizer then have the pound of crab legs in the Trifecta sauce with medium spice and don't forget to add the sausages and potatoes. The food is to die for and its so filling. Whenever I have a taste for seafood I am coming here. read more

Horrible! We had a pretty big party so we were told the wait would be about an hour and a half. I get it it's a big party so we waited. I don't mind waiting long if the food is good but this definitely wasn't the case. $55 for some overcooked king crab! Legs were rubbery as I tried to cut through them and then scrape out some crab. My 2 stars are for the shrimp because those were actually decent along with some meh sausage, corn and potatoes. I likely won't be back as I was pretty disappointed. read more

Probably has decent food. Went in and found out they were out of oysters. The entire reason I drove there. So I decided to have clam chowder and they're out of it. Not much of a seafood place. I have to say I came here with my kids and best friend and it's One of my favorite restaurants but I usually go to the one on 75th and cactus. This one was more in between the two of us and they had a special where you got lobster tail, snow crab, head shrimp, corn and potatoes for $39. Now I've never done their specials before but I assumed you were probably getting about a pound of each set except for the lobster tail. But in reality you got one crab but you did get a lot of shrimp and then the lobster tail. Because I came with my friend we thought we could split the $39 bag bad mistake on our part. But I guess the server could've also explained that the bag was per person. We were still hungry afterwards so we did order 2 pounds of crab and more corn. To be fair if we just had ordered the 2 pounds of crab with the corn and potato we would've been full. Now the first order actually came out really fast so originally I was thinking OK this place is completely packed but we're getting decent service and the food is coming real fast. When we ordered our second order the restaurant was slow as there was not a lot of customers my friend ordered it to go item she got that before our second order and we had put that second order in before the to go item. I mean the food quality is the same I feel no matter what store you go to which is amazing it is really good I enjoyed their crab and I love their seasoning they use. But the server I don't know if she just had a long night or if she just had too many tables but you could tell she was ready for the day to be over or she just did not really enjoy her job. And I have worked in the food industry in the past. I have to say just my impression the staff here are not as friendly as the other location. So I don't know if I will come back to this location maybe I need to just come on another day and see if maybe this was just a fluke because I think the service part was a little disappointed in. Even with a busy restaurant I understand a wait but you can smile. I have to say the hostess did a good job she smiled she was friendly and like I said at first I would've given this place a five star but as time went on I just felt less welcomed. read more

You know, ordered 2lbs peeled shrimp, with 3 carb and 2 sausage. $55.16 wasted. I ordered the shrimp, trifectaat medium spice. Got what they called naked shrimp. Not happy, the guy running take out shouldn't be. He doesn't listen, he interrupts, and he screed up s very expensive order. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS ONE. read more

We had a great family experience on Nov 18, 2017. We were coding from Las Vegas and wanted something different. We chose Angry Crab Shack. My daughter and I chose to do the Dungeness Crab with Lemon Pepper and Garlic while my husband chose the Turkey Club sandwich and the specialty fries to share with our son. Greg was our waiter who went above and beyond to help our 9 year old son up on the high part of the wall to sign his name. We all got to sign and we left a little #VegasStrong rock at the door entrance. Food, staff, and bill were on point for a family of four and what we could eat and wanted to spend. We paid about $80 which includes three alcoholic beverages and two sodas. You get the full experience with your order so if you don't want the FULL Crab or Lobster body then this may not be the place for you. If you like a quiet place without kids, this is not the place for you! Added bonus: After you dig in and get your hands filthy dirty, they have a big sink that you can wash your hands at. We have loved Angry Crab for years and have had a great time on most visits. The most recent visit just ruined me. Few issues- the CO2 tank was out so no fountain drinks, no draft beers- not huge deal breakers but a disappointment. It's been a bit since we had been in and the inside was definitely showing signs of being run down. It wasn't dirty just not well maintained. Our server was very attentive and nice. She took great care of our group. The prices oh my have they jumped up! Hello inflation! (I know it's everywhere!) but wow that bill really took my breath away and not in a good way! The food did taste great for the most part and almost everyone enjoyed their meal- but the next day- let's just say we did not feel well at all Given the prices and being sick I think we are all ruined from enjoying Angry Crab anytime in the near future. I will say I love angry crab. This was our first time attempting to go to this location. It's over 100 degrees here in Phoenix and their ac is broken. What the hell? We left. We refused to eat somewhere that does not care about if their employees or customers are comfortable. I looked at last reviews and it honestly looks like their AC has been broken for a year!!! that's unacceptable. read more

I visited this location for the first time since I moved to AZ 3 months ago and I have to say it was delicious and our waiter made it even better. Martin was our waiter and we told him it was our first time and we were from Cali and are used to a place called boiling crab so he sat down and explained the whole menu to us and suggested a new crab they have that's like the snow crab. We took his suggestion on the crab and it was exactly what he described which was delicious we had the shrimp with shell on how he suggested for more flavor and they were so good. I ordered a fried shrimp PO'BOY for the hubby to go and he loved it. I will defiantly be back and hope I get him to serve us again because he kept checking in on us and bringing us whatever we needed. For being available only for pick up!!! They are ridiculous...they are careless!! I called and was on hold for a good 10 min. I called back and placed my order (no apology from them) I was told I would get a text never did I get a text!!! I called after an hour thinking they were busy!! Again no apology nothing! A we had the wrong name .... hmm what?? This place is going down hill the workers do not care... maybe they should stay home! I recently visited Angry Crab, and I must say, the experience was a mix of hits and few misses. We were served quickly upon arriving and the food was quick as well. With a packed house their service didn't fall past excellent. The highlight for me was definitely the boil for two. It was a generous serving, perfect for sharing with king crab, snow crab, lobster and shrimp with corn, sausage and potato. The blend of spices in the boil was masterful. I highly recommend getting the trifecta sauce that is a fusion of all the spice flavors in one. However, I do have to note that the crawfish could have been fresher. There's an unmistakable sweetness and succulence to fresh crawfish that was unfortunately missing from what we were served. It wasn't off-putting to the point of ruining the meal, but it was a letdown, especially when everything else on the table was quite enjoyable. Despite the issue with the crawfish, I would still recommend Angry Crab for anyone looking for a hearty seafood boil. I came in a few nights ago with my husband and daughter. It was pretty busy but the service was extremely fast, and our table was well taken care of. Our waitress was Jinifer and she was great! She had a very bubbly personality, and she was very helpful. My daughter ordered snow crab, and she's never had it before. Jinifer was helpful with that and showed her how to open it! She recommended the trifecta sauce which was perfect. We also ordered the grilled salmon which tasted amazing. We were encouraged to get charred oysters and we loved those as well. My wife and daughter stopped in to Angry Crab Shack today and ordered two pounds of shrimp one pound of crab and I order clamps. When we got home with the meal we found the shrimp to be overcooked and mushy. We contacted the Angry Crab Shack and spoke with the manager named Jason. Jason was very helpful he understood exactly what had transpired he let us know that the shrimp had simply been overcooked. I was very pleased with the customer service we received from Jason. I don't even know how she has a job. She cussed like a sailor, LOUDLY. Every other word was, "Bitch, Fuck, and Bro". I had my child with me!! He explained everything so well and gave us recommendations regarding the menu and made our experience memorable. If you're looking for somewhere new to eat, this is the place especially if you like seafood. Our selection during this visit was Crab legs with kajun level 2 spice, mussels with pacific rim level 1 spice and the alligator plate which were all a hit (just be cautious with the spice). Came here on a Thursday for a late lunch. Was greeted right away and shown a table. The server came over and asked if I had been to an Angry Crab before, I explained that I have. Today though I wasn't feeling seafood in a boil bag, and I wanted to try something different. He went over the other choices, and I went with the grilled salmon, with hush puppies instead of rice. I just saw Jeff's review of Angry Crab in Goodyear, I was there last night and had Phillip as well. I'm pretty sure Jeff doesn't know what he is talking about. Phillip was exceptional. Fries saturated in oil. sampler appetizer plate not like ordered - nothing like BJ's sampler ( tiny ). VERY DISAPPOINTED.
