We ate at Angry Crab Shack on Broadway and it was an absolute delight. From the moment we sat down, everything was top notch. Reeves was our server and he did an amazing job -- super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The food was excellent. The crab boils were awesome with great flavor and everything cooked perfectly. We also tried the wings and they were fantastic too. Overall, the service, food, and experience were all 10/10. We'll definitely be back.

Look at the small size of the corn, yikes

The shrimp were good tasting but small and due to the way they cook them they were overcooked but tasted good. The crab was better and not overcooked. Service was fair but failed to remember the details, like added sauces and on one dish added hot sauce when it was ordered without hot sauce. To my surprise I ordered coleslaw and got less than a "handful" for $3 and a very small 1/3 ear of corn. I know that a restaurant needs to make a profit but that is a ridicules profit. Also we had several friends with us and all the good was served over a 10 minute time difference. I will go back to see if this was just bad day, Management needs to step up.

Seafood in the desert; you kind of have to expect it may not be the best catch of the ocean. I love seafood boils so it was nice to be able to come out and try one here. There is currently a special going on for $35.00 bag with King, Queen, and Snow Crab Legs, potatoes and sausage. This is a great deal if you are a crab lover. You can add-on whatever you like. Regular price could add closer to $80+. I added on lobster tails and they were pretty good. Again, the seafood is not the freshest as it is likely frozen, shipped, thawed, maybe frozen again, boiled, etc. So it's best to not go with expectations that crab legs will crack easily. They can be a bit bendy. Scissors helped a lot where the crackers wouldn't. All and all, the crab was very meaty. I did add a little salt to my bag, but still left feeling satisfied enough. Our waitress, Kim, was very helpful, fun, and hospitable.

Grilled shrimp Po'boy with cajun fries $15. My husband love the fries and a sandwich was very filling.

Be prepared! If you want to do a crab bag dinner. See bottom The clam chowder ($7)boston style was good with a good amount of crab and nice serving size. The gumbo ($8) is also good with a nice amount of shrimp in a nice dark rue. I ordered mine without the rice and it had a deep flavor. My husband ordered the grilled shrimp Po' boy with cajun fries ($15). Very good fries and Po' boy had a nice amount of grilled shrimp. The sandwich was very good. I ordered the Jambalaya ($12) without rice. Again a nice dark flavorful roux and very filling had about 4 to 5 nice size shrimp and then also some baby shrimp and a few small pieces of fish. Very good and filling. Our waitress Kim was nice and very helpful. Food came out quickly and hot. Now for the alert. If you want to do crab, lobster, fish, or shrimp bag dinner, in a true boiled crab fashion the prices start at $125 for two people and the create your own is by the pound. We stuck to the fixed menu priced items. The food was really good. We will go back again, but probably just for another soup and a salad with salmon or shrimp on top.

We asked if they could bring it over next door to the Broadway, and they happily said yes , plus, they gave us a 10% discount! Great service, tasty sandwiches, and such a nice experience overall.

However, I have to give 3 stars for the overall execution of my meal. I had a half of a Hammer sandwich which was about $8. It's ham, soppressata, cheese, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, dijon, vinegar, oil, garlic sauce. Unfortunately, I felt that my sandwich came with skimpy toppings. I got a pretty thinly stacked layer of ham and 2 little ovals of soppressata. The cheese was barely present. I also would have loved more tomato. I got a good amount of lettuce and banana peppers, though! Unfortunately, I just couldn't taste the meat and cheese toppings super well due to their being not much of them on the sandwich. The flavor of all the other ingredients were good, though. My friend got the Scramwich on Foccacia for $14. Looking at it, I could also tell it had not much proscuitto. Upon further inspection opening one of the halves of the sandwich... it was definitely only a few little smaller pieces of proscuitto. (The other toppings were on the other piece of bread, don't worry, those were fine) Sorry for the ugly photo - hard to really capture it without dissecting the thing. I also just noticed while looking at the photo again that one of the pieces of arugula also had black spots on it... Definitely not very fresh. My friend still enjoyed the foccacia, sundried tomatoes, and other toppings, but also felt there wasn't enough proscuitto. For the price, I would hope for a sufficient amount of meat. Heard a lot of hype about Quisty's and I see great potential in their quality and concepts! With better execution I'd definitely consider coming back. It's just hard to justify paying as much as we did for sandwiches that were skimpy on arguably one of the most important toppings!

This was our first visit to Transplant but it won't be our last. You order at the counter and they bring everything to your table. There is a soda fountain, so you can refill at your leisure. I'm not a huge fan of Pepsi products but they also had 3 flavors of Stubborn Soda which is fantastic. The atmosphere was modern and clean but I will say that having a couple plus size people in our party, the chairs weren't very comfortable. There was a bar area on the other side but I didn't notice if the chairs were the same. With a party of nine all arriving at different times and ordering apps and pizza at different times, we kept the food flowing. For apps, the fried pickles were amazing, as well as the parmesan fries. They do not skimp on the fresh Parm which is a huge plus in my book. There are four in our immediate family, so we ordered three 8x10's. We definitely would have been fine with three pizzas but since it was our first time, we wanted to try a third flavor. We ordered a supreme, an elote and a sweet & spicy. After one piece of the sweet and spicy, I decided my second and final piece would be the same because it was utterly amazing. It also had many ingredients we use and love at home in our wood-fired pizza oven, like San Marzano tomatoes and Mike's hot honey. I tasted the elote pizza and thought it rather bland. I've had elote pizza at a downtown establishment and theirs was far more flavorful. I didn't sample the supreme but my hub liked it. We loved the crust on the pizzas too! All in all, we were happy with our food and the atmosphere. The staff were also exceptionally friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back for more!
