I will say the new Anna's is amazing and it's because of Maddy and Savanah who are the best bartenders! They both offer suggestions and help offer alternatives. The service isn't as good with some of the male bartenders on staff but Maddy and Savanah always handle business with a great attitude towards their guests. This is a great local bar. It's lowkey and casual but the drink selection is outstanding and the food is good. I wish their market side had more practical grocery-type selections, but I love that they sell fresh bread. The bar is a great spot for folks in the neighborhood to kick back and see familiar faces. Sandwiches are wayyyyy overpriced for the amount you get and taste. Got the #2 and spent $18 for a steak sandwich and its more of a $10 sandwich for the taste, amount, and price. Wouldn't recommend unless they go down $5 for their sandwiches. My girlfriend got the nachos for $12 and sadly disappointed with those too. read more

The waitstaff don't seem too thrilled to be there. I ordered my food, was asked if it was for there or to go. I said it was for there, and the server or cashier didn't bring me napkins or ask if I needed any. She also assumed that the change from the bill was for gratuity. Didn't bother to ask if I wanted my two dollar bills back. She spent so long in the kitchen in the back, that someone from wild chive was sitting at the bar, waiting to order. He finally was fed up and left. Pretzel was tasty and so were the sauces, and I don't know that I will come back. It was cramped in there too, and bench not so comfy. read more

went in there on a Thursday because it's Pizza night -the only night they make pizzas. Saw it advertised on social media and happened to be in the area, so I picked up a pepperoni. The pepperoni pizza ($12) comes with sauce, mozzarella pearls, buratta cheese, freshly chopped basil and hot honey drizzle. It's basically a small or personal sized pizza, so don't order one thinking that it'll feed more than one person. works out great if splitting between 2 people as an appetizer. The price is very reasonable and the flavor is fucking outstanding! I look forward to trying other options in the near future. Their sandwiches must be amazing because they were busy as heck making a bunch of sandwiches the whole time I was there. The business is split into 2 different areas and have separate entrances. The bar, and the deli/shop. The bar area is pretty small and looks like it might be able to only fit about 10 people or so comfortably, but there is a nice patio area outside with extra seating. Beer and wine only -no booze. the shop has various beer, cider, kombucha and wine options. many of which are very local. they also carry international and local snacks that might be hard to find in any other store. Why not 5 stars, you might be wondering? I ordered my pizza to go and was charged $1 extra without being told that there is a surcharge for takeout. Not a deal breaker as I plan to go back and try many different things off their menu, but I think any business should advise customers anytime there is an extra charge for anything - regardless of it's only 25¢, or in this case, $1. read more

I've been frequenting here often whenever I'm in town. I went in the other day to show a friend around and we met Mila who was working the counter. She was very helpful and accomodating to my friend and I. In addition to, the products they house are very niche and trendy. I picked up this 4 pack of Unity Vibration kombucha which was nice and refreshing. I like what they are doing by supporting locally owned businesses like Culture Shrooms.
