Scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes
Kathy L.

Last week our power was out. We decided to get breakfast out since we didn't want to open refrigerator doors. We stopped by Another Broken Egg. We were greeted as soon as we walked inside. The temperature was nice and cool. I know some folks were a little cold but coming from a house with no power and blazing heat outside I was glad it was cold inside the restaurant. We perused the menu and I ordered a ham and cheese omelette with grits and hubs ordered two eggs, bacon and potatoes. I had an order of coffee and water. I probably drank two cups when I realized there was lipstick on the dark rimmed cup. I took one of the beverage napkins and confirmed the lipstick. Our server brought out another cup full of coffee. The food came out quickly and was very good. My omelette and grits were better than hubs eggs, bacon and potatoes in my opinion. The grits were bomb. Hubs ate most of mine. Other than the lipstick on my coffee cup we had a good time. I will return again.

I love the food at this place, but holy crap they were bad at estimating the wait time. We got there around 9:45 and were told it would be a 30-40 min wait but probably quicker. We waited over an hour. Finally we're seated and our waitress was great. I ordered the hash brown Benedict. I also got their spicy Bloody Mary- so good!!! They have a great outdoor patio too. There was a big party out there. I'd def go back. I just want a more accurate wait time.

Absolutely amazing food, service and ambiance! This is my absolute favorite brunch spot food great food. I visited the one in Houston, TX and it was terrible! I had hair in my food 2x soooooo I suggest that you stick with the location that cares about great food and amazing service. It will always be Carl T Jones Dr for me and my friends.

We went to this restaurant while on vacation in fort Walton. It was by far the best meal we had on the trip. The cinnamon bun French toast was mouth watering. The service was fabulous. Will go back every time I'm in the area.

Great way to start the morning

Quick find on yelp while trying to find a nice brunch place. A bit busy, however, we were still seated quite quickly. They have quite the variety of brunch options to include spiked hot/cold coffees. I went with an omelette and a spiked south of the border hot coffee. The omelette was delicious, not overly cheesy and perfectly cooked. I enjoyed the coffee, although I'd probably go with the Irish instead of the south of the border next time. I do, however, recommend to stop by if around the Huntsville area.

Lobster and Brie Omelet.

Amazing menu and food, great and friendly service. Lobster and Brie omelette was excellent.

Skinny Shrimp Benedict

The service was a little slow, so please expect a wait after being seated and ordering. Keep in mind this is a restaurant and because of the pressure of working in the food industry during Covid. It's still operating but be patient. The food was great. The mimosa were great too.

Hard boiled poached eggs???

Our eggs for the eggs Benedict were hard boiled. The hollandaise sauce was flat. I ate, I didn't complain but will not be back.

This restaurant is open for breakfast and brunch. They really aren't a lunch type of place to me. There are a few salads, soup, and a few sandwiches. Mostly they have lots of varieties of breakfast foods. We walked in and stood at the front hostess stand about 7 to 8 minutes. I contemplated grabbing menus and finding a place to sit since there wasn't a sign that said wait to be seated or seat yourself. About the time I grabbed menus, an employee approached the hostess stand. She said there was a sign to wait to be seated and I asked her to show it to me. She apologized for the missing sign. We were seated and began looking at the menu. Our server, Logan, showed up and was very friendly. He brought us water to the table and when we were ready, he took our orders. Dave had two eggs over medium, bacon, toast, and fried potatoes. His bacon was cooked like he likes it, the fried potatoes were crunchy, the toast buttered and his eggs perfect. 5/5 I ordered an omelet with ham, bacon, sausage, mushrooms and onions. My dish came with greens with a lemon vinaigrette. The kitchen forgot to put the vinaigrette on. I ordered a side of potatoes. The potatoes were delicious with a nice crunch. My omelet was dry. The eggs were tough and rubbery. It was difficult to cut the eggs with my fork. This is the first time I have had an omelet that was this dry. 3/5 If you are in South Huntsville on Airport Road, please stop by First Watch. I will be back to try other breakfast foods soon. 4/5

It was very busy for a Thursday and opens at 4:30 for dinner. It's in the Lincoln Mill and entrance is right next to a coffee place, but right up front & easy to find. We ordered the brisket fritters (4 panko crispy balls of chopped brisket mixed with chihuahua cheese blend, topped with Japanese white sauce) & the crispy Brussel sprouts (tossed in hot honey, yuzu & tamari glaze). There were enough brussel sprouts that they could easily be a side for everyone at our table. Both were cooked perfectly & flavors amazing!! For our entrees, our daughter ordered the tempura crab sandwich, my husband the bulgogi cheesesteak, our granddaughter the chicken fingers & Mac & cheese, myself & son-in-law, the brisket burnt ends and the beef tallow fries & the creamy Ginger Serrano coleslaw. We all enjoyed our meals & will definitely be back!! Wanted to order dessert, but we were all too full!! Highly recommend the brisket burnt ends!! Our server was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu & very attentive. Really enjoyed everything about this place!!

We arrived around 12:16 p.m. on Juneteenth and waited only about five minutes for a table of three. Once seated, Ethan provided exceptional service from start to finish. He was friendly, knowledgeable, offered thoughtful recommendations, and took the time to answer our questions about the menu. We kicked things off with the Texas Twinkies, served with white queso, queso fresco, serrano peppers, and cilantro. They were a flavorful way to begin the meal and set the tone for what was to come. I ordered the Smoked & Grilled Pork Chops with Beef Tallow Fries and Dr. Up Bushes Baked Beans. The pork chops were thick, juicy, and generously portioned. The fries arrived piping hot with an excellent crispy texture, while the baked beans were my favorite side of the meal. The portions were substantial enough that I took one pork chop home for later. My wife chose the Smoked Beef Burnt Ends with signature upgrades of Elote Crème Corn and Sweet Potato Fries. She loved the burnt ends and commented that the only thing that could have made them better was a little more bulgogi glaze. Both upgraded sides were excellent, especially the perfectly cooked sweet potato fries. Bethany went with the Bulgogi Cheesesteak and upgraded to the Truffle Fries, which were loaded with black truffle Parmesan seasoning, truffle aioli, and white queso. The fries were rich and indulgent, and paired well with the generous cheesesteak. Like the rest of us, she ended up taking home leftovers. The portions here are impressive, the menu is refreshingly creative without losing sight of great barbecue fundamentals, and the service elevated the entire experience. If you're visiting, don't skip the Texas Twinkies, and be prepared to leave with a to-go box.

We were greeted promptly but didn't see our server again - I'm sure she thought that we were going to order from the QR code which was a very reasonable assumption, except the QR code didn't work - only part of the menu was available We finally tracked her down and placed our order. While we waited (and waited) for our food, my husband poured his beer from the wall while I waited (and waited) for my soda. I finally went to the bar to get my own drink. Coke Zero is kept in the back so the bartender had to leave the bar and walk to the kitchen to get my drink. Asking for a refill was wasting breath - I asked for one but never received it. We waited (and waited) for our food. A server tried to give us someone else's chicken tenders but gave up after the second try. We were able to track down our server to check on our food. About 5 minutes later, we finally received our apps - mac & cheese bites (husband liked, I didn't) and fried pickles (I kind of liked, husband did not). I usually really like fried pickles but these were undercooked and not hot. Even if I had wanted them redone, our server was once again AWOL. Our sandwiches came right after we received our apps. I failed to read my previous review. I reordered the Turkey Gouda which I didn't like first time around. This time it was toasted perfectly. The problem? It was literally dripping with the cranberry aioli. This spread was only aioli in name. There was absolutely no creaminess, it was just jelly. Way way way too much jelly. I tried to scrape it off but since it was on both sides of the sandwich, removal was nearly impossible. This sandwich is definitely on my "never order again" list. (But then, I don't plan on coming back). I ordered onion rings as a side. I was served a couple of onion rings that were good but the rest of the onion rings were not rings, they were clumps of rings welded together. I did send these back. The replacements were so undercooked that the onions were nearly raw. My husband ordered the Burger. He did enjoy his burger but agreed that the poor service and overall quality that two visits were two too many.
