Food at this location is always delicious. The service is great and the open friendly atmosphere compliments well. However it always takes forever to get served; usually an hour after being seated and placing an order for two. There also isn't much available seating to wait so if the weather permits it's nice to wait in the nearby park which is really nice. read more

Food was lukewarm, daughter had to send eggs Benedict back as it was cold to the touch. Service was less than subpar. Manager did a table visit and offered a coupon for free pastry and an orange juice refill as compensation. What a joke. She spoke to my daughter while I had to take a phone call at the table and never returned. So I spoke to her after paying the check in full and let her know that how a recovery should go when the food and service is really bad. She simply smiled and nodded. $60 brunch without drinks should be better. Or maybe they count on people drinking to cover up the poor service and food quality. We came here about a month ago and sat for over an hour with no food ( french toast and eggs were ordered) finally we ended up telling the manager we were just going to leave. I took a guest to Another Broken Egg Cafe in Lake Mary, Florida for breakfast/brunch. The experience was extremely disappointing. After being seated, and a considerable wait, I had to find the hostess and ask for a server. A server eventually arrived and took our order. We ordered drinks and our meal at the same time. It took a very long time to get our breakfast and it was terrible. The omelets were burnt on the top, bottom, and edges. It had taken so long to get our breakfast we ended up having to ask for to-go boxes. Another Broken Egg used to have the best steak and eggs anywhere. This entree is no longer offered. Came here for the first time and was impressed! I ordered their shrimp & grits which was PACKED with flavor! It comes with 2 small pieces of bread that compliment the grits well. They don't skimp on the shrimp and it's very hearty. It was just a tad bit on the salty side but I still enjoyed the combination of flavors. I got an appetizer of beignets for being a 1st time customer. Wasn't impressed (maybe it's because I just got back from NOLA?) but it wasn't bad. It's as good as a sugary donut but it wasn't quite a beignet. I ordered a ham as a side and I'm not sure if it's the restaurants style of cooking that I didn't like or it was just not cooked right but it was too over-cooked and came out too dry, WAY too salty, and the cut wasn't great. There was a huge hole in the middle. If you're a ham lover, I'd probably stay away from this one if this is the way it's supposed to be cooked each time! Overall I enjoyed this cafe. The food was really good, I had the B.L.A.S.T which is like a BLT but with fried green tomatoes and avacado. They give you free Beignets if it's your first time. The waiter was fast, and really knew the menu. Why the 3 stars? The menus came out wet, maybe it was just cleaned? Maybe it was in need of a clean, but that's not the sort of gamble I care to take at a restaurant. In addition, the plates they brought out for the Beignets were dirty, at least 2 were unusable, food crusted, water and smudges. The guy who brought the plates (not the waiter) even wiped one on his clothes because he saw it was dirty. It's a shame to lose 2 stars over easily avoidable issues, I encourage the management keep in mind that cleanliness on the floor is just as important as what's done in the kitchen. read more

I made a reservation in the app. We arrived on time- there was no line but the place was busy. There were 3 hostesses- we were told to wait... we waited 10 minutes and a group of 6 walks in, no reservation, and are directly seated? What?
