They have a lobster and brie omelette that is one of the most incredible things I've ever eaten but only go for it if you have quite the appetite or sharing, it is so filling! We have lived in SRQ/manatee county for the past 10 years. Coming from West Palm Beach it's been difficult to find good food. My husband and I have tried just about every brunch place in the area and this exceeded our expectations. Our first impression was the biscuit beignets which are complimentary on your first visit. They were delicious and not overly sweet. I ordered the Shrimp Benny. Everything was seasoned so well and every bite was good. My husband ordered the Lobster and Brie omelette. Again every bite was delicious. The flavor combinations that they use are very sophisticated and better than anything we have had in the area. What a great way to start the day! The inside, you feel like you're at the country side summer home you grew up living in. Cora made me feel that way the minute I walked in. Beautiful design both inside and out. My supreme omelette came out within 5-10 minutes. This was not your typical fast food omelette either. The eggs were light and fluffy. Not "crépe-y" and thin like most establishments you go to. The filing of sausage, bacon, onions and mushrooms was perfectly balanced, nested inside it's egg blanket. Chef seasoned this just right. The home fries and English muffin were the perfect pair to eat along side. Not too much, not too little. Perfect! They sell their unique mugs, one in which I shall buy, before departing tomorrow. Excited to go back here for a second time but a serious let down this go around. Both of us chose the pancakes which ended up tasting like glue. "Blueberry" pancakes were gluey pancakes with blueberries thrown on top. Lemon pancakes with goat cheese and blueberries...some lemon zest grated on top of gluey pancakes, once again, with a few crumbles of goat cheese and blueberries thrown on top. We came to visit a friend and we wanted to try a yummy breakfast place. We looked up Another Broken Egg Cafe. First off, the place is very cute and welcoming. We were immediately seated and were greeted by our server Jessica who was really nice. We started with the beignets which I highly recommend. I ordered the smoked salmon Benny which was delicious with yummy capers and the eggs were perfectly poached . My cousin had the crab cake Benny which was also really yummy. The sauce was creamy and well balanced in flavor. They serve their coffee in the cutest mugs that they sell. Overall, great experience and I would definitely come back and recommend. read more

Well according to my girlfriend. She said that this place has a fabulous menu selection of breakfast food. My option is that, this is a good place for breakfast for sure but during season it gets pretty crowded and crazy. The seating is pleasant indoors and out doors. Very upscale breakfast/brunch restaurant. Apparently part of a chain, the food is quite tasty, with generous portions of creatively made dishes. The skillets cover a wide variety of flavors. The griddle creations are very well thought out, with the tastes hitting you from every direction. The beignets are out of this world, and will fill you up fast. The Coffee was full bodied, not watered down at all. They only got 4 stars due to a very long wait of about 45 minutes, and they seemed to be understaffed, as the manager had to take and serve our orders. read more

food was decent not the best. i would say that the customer service was terrible. they said it was a 30 min wait, and we ended up waiting an hour and a half just to get seated. once seated we then waited another 20 mins before the server even came to greet us. i would say the server came to the table a total of 4 times the whole visit but proceeded to go to multiple tables countless times. i know it's a busy sunday and there's many people that needed assistance but from the moment we came in they were unfriendly and we felt targeted. i don't know if it was because we were young minorities but we were not impressed and will NOT be returning. read more

Whenever we visit Bradenton we come here to eat. Brunch is always great. I have had the Shrimp and grits which are amazing but this time I had the Mardi Gras omelet which was great also. I won a free meal here from my work and decided to try it out with a friend. I love breakfast food but I also love iced coffee. I wasn't a fan of the iced coffee made with water. Our waitress Rachel was very accommodating and offered to have it remade with milk which I ended up liking a lot better. She was very attentive and kind. The manager even stopped by our table to ask how everything was. Healthy options were a huge plus. Will definitely go again read more

The food wasn't the best.my boyfriend and I weren't treated like the other customers. I think it's because we both look young. They completely looked right passed us and were talking with the other customers who walked in after us. The waiters we did talk too were sweet I don't want to completely bash them because everyone we talked too was kind. Just felt like we were there last priority *update ! We arrived at a half-empty or more restaurant and had to wait to be seated. Once seated, we waited another 5+ minutes until our server arrived. My wife and I both ordered standard breakfast things, such as, eggs, bacon, potatoes and pancakes. The food arrived quickly, and most things were hot except the potatoes. The service was ok, however, our server could have been a bit more friendly. Probably will not return to Broken Egg. Wow! Definitely people of excellence!!! The food here is consistently good. The customer service is unparalleled! While staying in a hotel down the road, I placed an order for delivery and one component was missing from my order... It was pretty important, it was my bacon! LOL I called the restaurant to let them know and they immediately offered to bring it to my door at the hotel! Within five minutes I had my bacon! I order food all the time and I've never had one restaurant go the extra mile to resolve a problem like Mark Stewart did!!! First timers get free beignets (yum). I had strawberry, whipped cream, Carmel pancakes, eggs and sausage. Sausage is different but I liked it! Also had city grits. I don't particularly care for grits but these were well worth the try. The fact they had smoked Gouda had me in for giving it a shot. I had so much food I needed to be rolled out. First timers last Sunday and could not have been more impressed. Staff and Managers excellent and food was exceptional. I had the Belgian Waffle with Strawberries and Whipped cream (yummy) and husband had Huevas Rancheros which he also liked.
