I accidentally discovered this place. I was hooked when I realized their selection of eggs Benedict's. Here for breakfast the feel was as if it were happy hour. The staff is very friendly and attentive which is wonderful. I could definitely do without the music selection being that I just woke up not long ago. Eggs Benedict's oscar-steak with crab. The steak could use some more flavor and the crab wasn't really necessary (if I wanted crab I would have ordered the crab eggs Benedict's). The asparagus was a bit undercooked and maybe a bit skimpy on the hollandaise sauce. Lots of choices I would visit again. read more

My wife and I went to the one in Charleston for the first time and became instant fans! We then drove to Lakewood all the way from Tampa just to go have brunch! Its an hours drive but you can combine it with some shopping at the outlet malls which are just 10 minutes away. Their Biscuit Biegnets are definitely worth a try! Their Quinoa with granola and fruit is an excellent option if you are int the mood to go healthy! We have tried a bunch of other items on their menu and have not been disappointing by anyone of those! Giving tough competition to our other favorite brunch place The Flying Biscuit! read more

Our favorite spot to brunch on Sundays! Customer service is great, waiting time is reasonable and food is outstanding. My favorite is the lobster omelette but the French toast are great too. Last time here my toddler broke the jar of candy at the front (sorry about that) but the staff was very helpful and they clean immediately. Highly recommend it plus they have mimosas!! read more

I visited this location on 7/17/18 and was very disappointed. I am a frequent traveler and like to visit Another Broken Egg Cafe's whenever there is one in the area, because the service is usually impeccable and the food is usually amazing. Unfortunately, this was the one location that fell well below those expectations. I was privy to discussions between male servers who stood near the televisions and spoke as if there were no customers present. They were throwing out derogatory terms toward their recent female "conquests", calling them "bitches" and so forth. As if that weren't enough, they then stood around, discussing politics and their negative views toward political leaders. The entire visit was wholly offensive and drastically decreased my chances of returning to any location and withdrawing any positive feedback that I have passed to friends, family and coworkers. The service at this location was terrible and the food was marginal. It was a great disappointment. Update: After being contacted by the management, I provided my personal info, as requested, for contact. Not once did they actually call or email. It just shows that they pretend to be responsive and attentive to customers, but they can't even manage to keep up appearances. Shame. read more

We came in for breakfast today, our first time. Won't ever come back. We stood at the hostess stand along with three other parties for over 5 minutes before the person tending the bar acknowledged us and said someone would be right with us. Then another 5 minutes later the hostess finally appeared and said despite all of the open tables we would have to wait a while because the wait staff was too swamped. Not our problem. Have they never served breakfast before? Looking around at all of the empty but dirty tables, we could tell what type of experience we would have had if we were to stay. So along with two other parties, we left and had a great breakfast at Kiki's. read more

Tried the place on a whim while away on a trip in S. Florida. First off, I was in sticker shock on menu prices for average sized, mediocre breakfast plates and watered down coffee, even with refills, a 2.79 charge and coffee very unfulfilling, thinned out, low quality diner grade coffee, to me, that quality is just as important as the breakfast plate... I ordered the traditional 2 eggs, with meat and side of toast plate on menu, that was priced at well over $12 dollars (and seemingly is the cheapest breakfast platter on that menu) and then add on coffee, you have a check already over 15 bucks just for ONE person to eat breakfast. Then, adding tax and a tip, the server was nice, but I felt so ripped off by this place, in every way shape and form. I can say the food was not that good a breakfast to me not to warrant such a price. 8 bucks would've been more than enough to charge and coffee had it been good, maybe charge 2.50 with free refills, plus, the mugs used were pretty small and that of which is designed intentionally, I am sure. read more

(It surprised my boyfriend who tends to have a big appetite). The price is a bit on the moderately expensive side but definitely worth it. UPDATE: Changing my review from 3 to 5 stars. Michelle contacted me about my review, and ask me detail questions about what was not perfect when I visited the cafe? I shared my experience with her, and she was very receptive and even told me that they made changes based on my feedback. She even sent me a complimentary gift card for a meal so I could go back and see for myself. As before the service was excellent, super friendly, and I felt right at home. I ate the craps Benedict, which were delicious, with lots of crab meat and yummy hollandaise sauce. I think Michelle and team have displayed an amazing customer service experience, and I will certainly make this one of my regular breakfast places! Job well done Michelle in team!!! First, the service was super! The reason why I only give 3 stars is the food. I ordered huevos rancheros and it was mediocre. Here is why: the fried tortillas must have been old, they were not crunchy and almost impossible to cut. The eggs were suppose to be over easy, and they were over hard. Now, it was my fault to not point it out and send it back, but that's just my personality. I will defiantly go back and give them another try, my first time was just not awesome. read more

This is my favorite breakfast spot in the area. They have a great variety of breakfast dishes from a blueberry lemon goat cheese pancake to crab cake Benedict. I personally love their Siracha Bloody Mary! It is so spicy but absolutely refreshing. It is a bit hidden but that makes it nice since it isn't too loud. read more

Went here and it was unbelievable!! Staff didn't welcome me and my family !! Hostess gave us a table but crazy how we waited for 20mins and no one came to us. Even the hostess asked who had that table and no one responded. While 2 severs were about us ! Finally we decided to leave.. walked passed the male sever as his staring at us. Didn't say one word . Sad I drove nearly 45 mins to try this location. Went to a cafe down the road . Totally different experience!! 2 severs came and greeted us less then 5 minutes. We have been eating here for more than ten years. We started coming here with the old management. It was way better before. We still eat here but not as much as before. This Sunday we came in as usual. I used the Yelp App from home to put us in line with a note for outside seating. I checked in when we got there. Another hostess came up right as another party walked in. They did not use the app and they were seated outside before us. The table they gave them was the last table outside. Really aggravated!! I have a love/hate relationship with this place. I love their food. Generally it comes out warm and correct. A couple of times it hasn't, but it is breakfast food. Their city grits are awesome and their waffle sliders are great too. Where the hate comes from. The service. They are painstakingly slow. Once my husband counted 8 servers just standing around doing nothing. It also took us and hour and a half to get breakfast (not including the time it took us to get seated) and it was only the two of us who ordered two basic meals. I heard one waitress mention they wanted to give the kitchen a break.... I am sorry, a break!? A break in the middle of a breakfast rush at a breakfast place??? I am guessing their kitchen is too small or understaffed all the time. I do recommend the food here but only come if you have no where to be at a certain time. We have come more than a few times and one constant is having slow service while a ton of servers standing around twiddling their thumbs. The restaurant itself is really cute and clean.
