I tried the shrimp and grits in Louisiana it was so delicious and the service was outstanding.

Good food, good service. Food is cooked after you order it, so it's fresh. Lots of choices on the menu, so if you like variety and new tastes, they have a lot. However, this is not Cracker Barrel. If you're looking for that style of food, it is different in its approach. Take a look at their menu if you're worried about it. Only real issue for us was the rather high price tags. And, they charge you for everything. Want some gravy? $2 for a small bowl. Want a refill of iced cold brew, you'll be paying for another one. Again, good food, just expensive. read more

Wow! Our server, Kellie, recommended the cookie dough waffle. She brought extra chocolate chips to put on top. I ate the whole thing! In a restaurant that is outstanding, one of the best draws to this place was Dominique. She is an excellent server and so accommodating. We had gluten free pancakes that were scrumptious. My husband had the avocado toast which had been discontinued, but because they had the ingredients, they still made it. They also have patio seating. Yay! Waiting 45minutes in over 100* heat for a "online wait list reservation" only to be told by our waitress after being seated that it would be an hour wait before food would be brought to the table. This should have been told to us by the Hostess so we could have made a choice about waiting. I will never choose this place again. Check in on yelp!! Get in the waitlist before you leave home !! There were 31 tables ahead of us at 11:45 on a Sunday. I ended up super lucky and grabbed two seats at the bar with no wait. The bartender took great care of us!! We had perfect coffee w my fav creamer. The eggs and bacon were the BEST!!! Love the service and the food. Our server Benjamin is amazing. My husband and I eat here every weekend. My Skinny Omelet with goat cheese and EXTRA roasted garlic and side of their delicious grits is my breakfast go-to with my mimosa :-). However, I treated myself yesterday though to their chicken and waffles! Now that was a TREAT! My husband's go to is the traditional breakfast with grits. He loves the homemade sausage patties too! I've had my eye on this place for a while, so decided to have breakfast here while passing through Shreveport. Upon entering, we immediately felt welcomed and were seated right away. Since it was our first time here, they gave us a free mason jar. Halfway through our meal, we noticed our jar was missing. We then came to the conclusion that one of the guest's iced coffee was in a similar jar and assumed we could take it. We wish the waitress would have told us, because we did not want to take the wet glass with us. We also got a free half order of beignets. They were delicious BUT we ordered more and they didn't taste the same...bummer! The food was average. I had an omelette, which was probably the best item on the table. Several guests had different types of pancakes, but none of us liked them. The city grits were pretty good though! I'm glad I finally tried this place, but will not be returning. read more

This was me & shorties first time & second for Senai who lives here. She got the same thing because she rrally enjoyed it! it was the crab cakes & fried green tomatoes and it was really really yummy! Enough flavor to please the taste buds but not too much to run up your cholesterol. She treated us & it was pretty good! We got the beignets for an appetizer and OH MY GOSH they were so good! They were coated with powdered sugar and I LOVE ME SOME POWDERED SUGA and a apricot honey marmalade for sauce! It was sooo yuummyy. I got the monterey omelette and it was really good! Perfect size and the flavor was really good! I also had the spiked salted caramel cold brew alcoholic beverage and it was good just a lil too sweet and I couldn't taste the bailey but it was yummy. I wanted to try the power waffle BUT it was only one waffle and it cost $12.99 and so it was a no from me big dog. It was a nice brunch as we are just visiting town. We may come back next month! We agreed on a four because we had a long wait after being seated and this family was seated before us when we were first on the waiting list. It was about a ten minute wait. Absolutely delicious food! Visiting Shreveport from CA with my dad for a funeral and decided to stop here for brunch. We are definitely returning at least one more time before we fly back home. I ordered the cinnamon roll French toast breakfast and it was scrumptious! The only issue with my order was my plate clearly only had one egg, when it was supposed to come with 2 eggs. The cinnamon roll French toast was so good, I didn't really care to bother mentioning it. I'm tempted to have the same thing when we come back but I told myself I wanted to try the lobster omelette or crab cake benedict. My dad ordered the biscuits and gravy breakfast. Just left here for brunch, which was great. When we visit Shreveport, we always stop for brunch before heading back to Dallas. Today was a bit different. The food was good and our waiter, Dallas, was phenomenal. The issue we had today was the floors were extremely FILTHY. You could tell there was a family with a kid, & left a mess. It was amazing how all the workers just walked over, through, and around the filth. I had to consciously overlook the filth in order to enjoy my food. This was totally unacceptable and unappetizing. Well, I was surely disappointed the four young ladies that the hostess rude. set us at a seven person table. We asked to sit at a four person table which we were told no we had to sit there. OK fine we said there in the manager comes over and tells us no we gotta get up right now and go to person we down to everybody orders everything was cold except for the omelette pancakes cold and they were surely not buttermilk, fluffy pancakes, potatoes, black, cold, and hard got a English muffin only got one part to that. Bill was $90 plus the tip for four people. three of us got coffee we only got one cup of coffee each the waitress never even come back to give us our bill. very overrated don't waste your money. I had the crab omelette with potatoes & English muffin & BF had a waffle. Omelette was disappointing, way too much cream cheese & crab didn't seem fresh. I didn't eat the majority of it. I would have given 5 starts but the service was REALLY lacking. Checked in via the Yelp app. Checked in within time frame and at check in, 5 people were Still ahead of us. Well.....after almost an hour of waiting at the restaurant (and 20 min app wait), finally seated. LOTS of upset and frustrated people waiting. While waiting, a man who apparently called in an order asked for the manager since he waited 45 mins to get his takeout, that was in addition to the 45 min wait he was told he had before pick up. Our waitress tried but it appears short staff and a lack of leadership from management were against her. Had to ask for coffee 4x before getting it and had to finally get up and get cream ourself off another table. Great food though. We came in from Texas for the Mudbug Madness Festival and I always go on Yelp to look at reviews and chooses place to eat and 90% of the reviews I read on this establishment were 4+ stars... needless to say they did not disappoint. We enjoyed signing in on the website for our reservation. We didn't have to wait on hour for our table since it was a Sunday. To bad the people we were meeting were not on time. We had a very pleasant waitress, my husband loved his southwest scrambler. I had a Mexican breakfast the eggs were warm and beautiful,but sat on cold black beans, along with salsa cold out of the fridge.Normally it's all hot. We really enjoy the service at Piedmont and Line Ave. we had such a bad experience at the one in Bossier we won't go back there. It took a hour for our meal to come out. The family and I went here TWICE during a trip to Shreveport. Both times we sat outside in an effort to be precautious. We appreciated that all staff were wearing masks; however, most patrons did not. The food was great! Good sized portions, great selection, and delicious morning cocktails. My 10 year old even appreciated the "fancy" chocolate milk she received during our second trip. Our waitstaff (Brittany & Madison) were efficient, friendly, and attentive. I deducted a star only because the outside seating was uncomfortable because of the summer heat! I understand that the restaurant itself cannot control the weather but I would've appreciated a fan or misting system. read more
