Service was slow, drinks took about 15mins to get brought to the table, in fact one of our starters came to the table first. We ordered 2 orders of the crab cake Benedict and an chicken fried steak Benedict and on all 3 the eggs were over poached. One was so over boiled it was basically hard boiled. Overall, it's a great place for a quick breakfast spot. Looking through the menu they had a very good variety of food. I had the Cinnamon French Toast (10/10) main dish. But they side dishes with the eggs and bacon were not so good (3/10). The egg texture was not it, felt like they cook them in the oven in bulk like a hotel does and slap them bad boys on the plates. And the bacon was way overcooked. The service was great though (8.5/10). The server was very nice and polite. I wouldn't go for drinks unless you want to ball out. Another broken egg is located in south tampa on dale Mabry in the complex that has Tijuana flats and smash burger. Our waitress is very nice! I decided to order the crab cake Benedict with potatoes. My boyfriend decided to order the salmon eggs Benedict. The restaurant is fairly large and has a "homey" feel to it. There is a patio located outside that is pet friendly. They show the calories on the menu which is a real buzz kill. LOL This place was absolutely the best breakfast place in all of tampa hands down. Amazing!!!! First off my poached eggs were over cooked and they had to replace them which took a lot of time and is another reason why I wouldn't be back. Everyone was done eating by the time my came out. Our waitress was efficient and sweet which saved this from a two star review. Saturday morning placed our name in yelp waitlist app at 1015- we had to be there by 1029 to Keep our spot. Seemed like an efficient system, but in fact after we checked in every single person that walked up was seated prior to our "waitlist wait" was finally done at 1055. For a Saturday you wouldn't think that is bad, but it wasn't crowded and there were tons of empty seats, especially on the patio where we requested. So my 38 week pregnant wife and I stood outside with no benches or seating for the entire wait (we had our dog.) and no updates. Basically, they have kids running this operation and someone seasoned in hospitality would certainly have noticed and offered her a seat in the shade with some water and sped up this entire process. They also were in zero rush to seat people on the waitlist - just reeeeeeeeally took their time to fill tables. Should be run better for a weekend brunch place! Menu looked awesome! Food was decent. This is the BEST breakfast I have had in a while. The restautant was very neat and clean. We were seated quickly, The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. The Apple juice is "real" apple juice, none of that from concentrate stuff, my kids loved that! The coconut milk that I used as a dairy free creamer option was delicious. Even the water was good. It didn't have that "Florida water" taste. The food was DELICIOUS. My kids had the waffle sampler which was the perfect portion and combo of protein and sweetness. This area has plenty of breakfast/brunch type restaurants so I was shocked to see the wait on an early Sunday morning was about 30-45 minutes. Luckily you can get your name on the waitlist ahead of time by calling in or on the Yelp app. The waiting area was crowded and it seemed like there were empty tables throughout but just not seated. After waiting for about 10 minutes after arriving our table was ready and the server was there within minutes to take drink and food orders. I ended up having the scrambler with spinach and it came with an English muffin that I substituted a biscuit for. The scrambler was a decent size and good mix of ingredients. The iced coffee I ordered was served up in a mason jar but was chock full of ice so after like four sips it was finished.
