Making an appointment was also super easy as they can do it over the phone for you. Additionally I feel like they were not trying to upcharge me for any other shots or treatments that wasn't needed. I plan on going back to them now for any vet needs as they are a well clean and established medical center with reputable staff!

I absolutely adore the front desk receptionists and the Doctors are also so friendly. I truly wish I could give this place 5 stars but have lately been feeling attitude and 0 flexibility from one of their supervisors - Kelly. Every single time I call to schedule, she is very sassy and has attitude. She always insists that my appointments need to fall within the 11-12:30 window, but I have a FULL TIME job without the luxury of just leaving midday like that. I explain to her and there is 0 flexibility, empathy, or care. "It's my way or the highway" basically. Thats not really great customer service. Ironically, all of the other receptionists are VERY sweet and kind. I've been able to book mornings and evening appointments around my working schedule whenever I talk to them. Mind you, it's the same exact service too. I guess it just depends who I'm talking to that'll determine whether I can even bring my pet in... I understand there are rules for a reason that keep things orderly. But 1) the way in which Kelly explains this & talks to me is very offputting and 2) there should be a level of flexibility especially for a customer who has been coming here for over 6 years.

The whole team at Tama has always been so wonderful to us, including the nurses and front desk. After having dogs for 10 years, we've experienced a variety of different animal hospitals, emergency rooms and doctors. Some of them amazing and some of them leaving much to be desired. We learned that no one can advocate for your pet better than you, so communication & openness to learn is key. Our three dogs have always had a wonderful experience there and we're grateful to have found them. That being said, Tama Vet is an awesome place to have as a family doctor for your fur babies. They work with you and are always so understanding toward us.

They would lie and say all i needed was licensing or something to prove that he was my pet and I did, but they were asking for way more making it more difficult. it's been a horrible experience I don't recommend coming here unless you want to feel investigated whether or not your pet is yours. This location is very messy and unorganized.

They immediately tended to the fact that my babies were getting slightly anxious and vocal, so they offered me a spot in a quiet and separate room. It was a super sweet gesture and such a great starter and setup for how the rest of our visit went down!! Everyone greeted me with such kindness, professionalism, and enthusiasm- I swear I heard "If you need anything at all just pop your head out" like 5+ times and it was overall fantastic. Dr. Cook was kind, great listener (had beautiful eyes, if I'm being honest :D), straight to the point, and understood both my baby's health concerns and financial concerns- which she executed perfectly and accommodated gracefully. My babies are teeny tiny, and the way everyone gushed over them, and the way they handled them made me feel so safe. Never once did I even question if they knew what they were doing. *First time experience* Review for a Cat…read more Believe the reviews, this place is phenomenal! While I hope all of our fur babies will never need to come here, sometimes things happen and unexpectedly. I want to be transparent that I was at SAGE earlier in the day-- let's just say I don't like the route they wanted to go and I went to VEG few hours later. As we know, cats are masters at hiding pain and discomfort. The below review was from July 15, 9pm at night. My 5 1/2 cat Bebe's symptoms: 1. Not eating or drinking and it was 95 degrees 2. No potty at all (I have a litter robot, plus two other cats) I brought her in after 15 hours of these symptoms. A bit "quickly" but as I mentioned it was hot out and my girl LOVES food. About the vet: I called beforehand, very nice gentleman answered, didn't rush me, didn't treat me like another number in the queue. I also want to call out, no AI crap! A real human answered when I called I didn't have to select "press 7" etc. I arrived about 20 mins after the call and was greeted warmly by the front desk. Extremely clean place, coffee and tea bar, freshly baked cookies! We were promptly given a room and Dr Molly came in within 15 mins of our arrival after the nurse took vitals. Dr Molly is a pure assets to this vet. Before she started talking, she sat down on the ground to not overwhelm my cat. Her voice is very sweet, she understood my concern and gently got Bebe comfortable. Treated her like a little scared child vs just some animal with no feelings. She got to Bebe's level vs throwing her on the metal table. Dr Molly listened to every little trivial thing I said about the past 24 hours because I wanted to be transparent and she determined we should do an x ray and blood work. I was promptly given the link via phone to pay + outline of costs, clear! I did have to wait about 2 hours for results of the xray due to the hour I was there (9pm to midnight), the results were sent out for review. I received them back and they are the clearest x rays I've ever seen, better than a human hospital, seriously. They send you a live link to download them too. Diagnosis: she came back in, same calm voice vs the chaos she had in the vet (few emergencies popped up with dogs) while I was waiting. She gave Bebe fluids and anti nausea injection and an antibiotic injection. I got home 1am and she started eating! I couldn't believe it. Her red blood cells were a bit high (inflammation), thank god no blockages. What I think was wrong: we had a little stress when I got home with a big box and she ran between my legs and got stressed running into them + the door slammed same time she got freaked out running into my legs hard.

We had been dealing with two incredibly stressful weeks before deciding on surgery for our dog. The moment I called the clinic, the front desk team was amazingly kind, efficient, and eager to help, getting us an urgent appointment right away. From the moment we walked in, Dr. Gahra gave us total peace of mind. His calm expertise, clear explanations, and reassuring posture made us feel completely safe in his hands. He answered every question thoroughly and never made us feel rushed. The surgery went smoothly, and our dog is doing fantastic. If you are ever hesitant or looking for a truly exceptional vet, trust Dr. Gahra and his staff. They earned our complete trust, and we are happily transitioning primary care for both of our dogs to this clinic. Thank you to the whole team for saving our girl!

The vet immediately noticed neurological detail, and pointed out an obvious concern with her existing meds. I received a response offering an exam appointment (which I expected), along with the soonest available opening, but no information about pricing -- not even the cost of the exam itself. I replied asking for both the exam fee and availability. They responded by booking an appointment date and time, again without answering my question about pricing. I had to follow up a third time explaining that I needed to know the cost before confirming, and I was finally told the exam would be $60, which seemed reasonable. Since it was actually my brother's dog, I sent him to the appointment. After the visit, he was quoted $1,600-$2,000 for treatment, which was unfortunately out of his budget. While that happens and isn't necessarily the issue, I was disappointed to find out he had been charged $80 for the exam instead of the $60 I was originally told. When I reached out via text, they explained they "forgot" to apply the new client discount -- something that had never been mentioned to me beforehand. They offered either a refund or to apply the difference toward future services. Since we had already found another clinic that could do the same services for around $1,200, I asked for the $20 refund back to the card. After that, I never heard back. No confirmation of the refund, no apology for the overcharge, nothing. I understand veterinary care is expensive, and it's not their fault my brother is a broke college student. But basic customer service and communication go a long way. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won't be returning or recommending this office.
