Delicious pizza! Anthony's has unique and tasty pizza. The red sauce is sweet and flavorful, and the pizza bread is probably one of the best I've had. It has a some of the little burnt and charred bits, that add more flavor and appeal. Yum! The salads here are also really tasty too, with fresh ingredients and great dressings. I took off one star because it's a little pricey (large pizza and a salad is $40). But it's definitely worth it, when you've gotta gave the coal fired pie! read more

I don't understand what happened with this place, but the pie was horrible, They must have changed owners or sold the place , The pie sucks, They always had real Tomatoes on top and not a clump of tomato sause. Plus it was so salty that we could not eat it. The crust was bad, and bottom used to have a real black cool fired taste to it. Thats gone too. The staff was good, and the new menus were cheap paper ones that they give you and take away like a dirty table setting. We told them that the food was horrible, and they took it off our bill they also justified the paper-thin crust due to the fact we ordered a small. That made no sense because we have had the small one before. tried to say the large one had more dough, but he was wrong. We got home with it and tried again to eat the free large one they gave us, but it also was horrible and salty and no tomatoes on it with a nice sauce. We will not be going there again . The owner in NJ should know what they have done to this place. We threw it in the dumpster. read more

Been there many times. Usually good. This time ( 8/11) I gave a generous 2 stars.the pizza was dry, little or no sauce, we asked for extra cheese and didn't get it. The server was mediocre at best, not rude but disinterested, Unusual for Anthony's. Then our visit was topped off with the server giving our check , with our cc , to the table next to us and their check and card to us. She asks me questions I've never been asked before, also my loyalty which I never get asked for. She makes me feel like she cares a lot about meeting our needs. Tried out this amazing place for the first time tonight with a large group of our family. We were not disappointed! I ate at Anthony's today the service at the bar was good but I have a problem with the manager, Nicole. After eating 5 of my 10 wings I noticed that I had eaten 4 drums and one flat. After digging through the onions I found no more flats. I stopped eating the wings. When the bartender returned next time he asked if I wanted to order anything else. I told him no then told him about the lack of flats in my wings. He picked up the plate and said he would replace the remainder of my wings with flats. Upon his return, he brought my wings back in a to-go box and said the Manager, Nicole said if I wanted flats to order more wings. I paid my bill and left and told him I would not be returning and that I would send an email to the corporate office. read more

Eh. Really wanted to like this place. Everything sounds delicious. We ordered the wings and a pizza. The pizza was the one with meatballs, sausage, and ricotta with sweet peppers. I asked for some of the hot peppers on the side. I am glad I did because I found the pizza to be practically flavorless. The meatballs didn't taste seasoned at all. The wings seemed kinda burnt and dry. The carmelized onions were the only redeeming thing about the dish. Should have gone with the ribs I suppose. The service was good and the place was clean. Three pizzas for take-out and we're about $60 lighter. I have been to two other Anthony's, and I was a raving fan for a long time. YES the pizza is burnt, dummy, that's the point! But I hadn't been in a year, they have dropped the ball. The dough or how they prepare it wasn't the same in Stuart. And my folks had complained the pizza was too salty as they had tried it months ago. I brushed this comment off, but the fact is it was way too salty, like nothing I'd tasted before. Thinking about it now, their pizza (at least in Broward County) looked and tasted fresh and handmade. In Stuart it looked like they were testing the grocery freezer aisle version to see if we could tell the difference. Don't know if this a positive or negative for most folks, but it looks like the same guy who hires the high-school girls to work the counter in Broward is managing the talent in Stuart, they are cute but they can barely use a keypad. read more

One of the best pizza places in Florida. If you like pizza well done you'll enjoy Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza. Delicious salads and sandwiches. They have wine and beer to enjoy with your pizza or other choices. The only drawback for Anthony's is that they serve sodas and iced tea from bottles. Every bottle is going to cost you so be prepared to spend about $5.00 per person on soft drinks. With tea being easy to make and sodas on tap for just pennies a serving I wonder why this practice is observed here. Be warned! read more

Way to expensive for the burned food and lack of options. My family of 3 came in tonight to a very well decorated place with the lights so low that you almost couldn't read the menu. We had a side salad and 20 chicken wings that were suppose to come out at the same time. But that didn't happen so my fiance got to sit and watch us eat. Lastly the cheese pizza and the wing that we got were so burnt that we had to choose to just eat around the burnt parts. Then the bill came 50.00 for all the charcoal. We will never be going back. Anthony's was very busy when we arrived. Since moving to Stuart we have wanted to try Anthony's. We decided to sit at the end of the bar instead of waiting for a table and it was so much fun. I used to go to Anthony's in Long Island all the time, it was one of my favorites. So you can only imagine how excited I was to find there was one so close at hand when I moved down! I went for lunch with my dad and this place did not disappoint. We had the fresh mozzarella pie (well done and delicious like I like it!) and the wings (awesome and smothered in onions and Rosemary)-- the food was timely and cooked well, the waitress was really nice! We had enough to bring two slices to my mom too. I had a really awesome pear cider too, came in a really tall glass and was very refreshing. I'm impatient to go back! read more

The white cauliflower pie is very tasty too -- it has a great garlic kick. New Haven thin crusted pizza is the best anywhere in the states, but Anthony's coal fired pizza is the ticket in Stuart, Florida. Recently returned for lunch with a friend and not only enjoyed a lunch sized pizza for $7.50 - "well done" for one, but also ordered the pork ribs w/vinegar peppers. Oh boy, what a treat those ribs were! Roasted in Anthony's coal ovens with garlic, rosemary, spicy vinegar peppers and white wine, they were crispy and fall off the bone delicious. The preparation is a refreshing change from ribs slathered in sweet gooey sauce. There's a healthy portion of 6 ribs at $11.50 - but don't steer away because of the price. Definitely a keeper! Pizza was excellent, and as the sign warns diners, the crust is very well done but delicious. Plenty of toppings to choose from the menu and some intriguing specialty pies such as roasted cauliflower pizza with olive oil and garlic, Romano and mozzarella, topped off with bread crumbs. Dinner pies are a little pricier but well worth the quality of ingredients and delicious flavors. No stoves at Anthony's - just the huge coal fired ovens turning out not just pizza and ribs, but Italian soul food, salads and coal oven sandwiches. The atmosphere is a bit more upscale than a typical pizza parlor and diners looking for the early bird $4 glass of house wine won't find that at Anthony's. Lunch today ordered large Anthony's salad. It was served in a very large bowl full of lettuce with minimum amount of salad items such as olives chick peas tomatoes etc. At that price point $11 must be a very profitable item for them. Add more toppings to make it better. Dressing was very good. Ordered traditional 16 inch pizza. Sauce and cheese were not distributed well. Center of the pie had sauce outer portion all cheese no sauce. Flavor and taste were good where you got a bite of dough sauce and cheese. Work on getting the three uniformly distributed. read more
