    Caprese Salad

Found this spot on the website Fido since I happened to take my dog out that day and we were getting hungry. Loved that they are dog friendly. It was a beautiful weather day and sat outside. Service was quick and kind, I didn't catch their names but it was two gentlemen taking care of everyone in the establishment. I forgot to take a picture of the pizza but we ordered a margarita pizza and it was delicious! The wings, were burnt so I only ate one. My family ate the rest. The Caprece salad was delicious. Very balsamic forward but good. The highlight was the drink. It's a gin limoncillo basil drink (I forgot to write down its name but it's one of the new drinks) and it was delicious! Refreshing!

This store is like night and day to the Livingston location. We had a decent meal a few months ago in Livingston so we went back and it was horrible. After shopping on 23 and getting hungry, and wanting a low key place for a good meal and drink we decided to risk it and try this location. What a gem! The staff was pleasant and friendly without being obnoxiously so. The place was busy but they got us seated quickly and were fast with our drink orders and we never had to look for staff. The food was very good. The meatballs were round (sauce could have been a bit hotter) and the eggplant was good. The pizza was served quick and delicious. The wings were good. Keep up the good work Wayne. I hope the Livingston location can learn a thing or two from you.

Conveniently located on rt 23. Went there during happy hour. Wings were really good, and we also got the Burrata pizza. Staff was friendly and attentive. Ambience was nice.

Pizza was okay. But frankly I just eat New Haven pizza so I have such high expectations. The meatballs were good though, pizza was a bit too cheesy, would like slightly more sauce. Service was okay too, it was a new server so I don't want to give too much of a review based on that. It's a quick and decent bite off route 23.

This looks nothing like what I received!

The wings were terrible! It's no wonder ACFP is disappearing. The place started out strong, but good service with declining food quality won't sustain your business. I ordered the dry rub wings, you tell me - does this look appetizing? It looks nothing like the menu picture!

I've been here a few times for pizza even though they don't have any vegan options. The pizza is really good and so are the wings, even though it seems weird to put onions on wings to me. The coal fire gives the pizza a great taste. The pies are cooked well done. When we came here, there was nobody at the door to greet or seat us for a bit which caused a little confusion, but once we sat, the sever was very attentive and efficient which made up for it. It looks like they were doing a lot of take out business, but the atmosphere in the dining room is great for eating in as well.

Just ordered from there. A pot of meatballs 13 for $29.00. 4 small pieces of focaccia bread with it. What a joke.

Mussels with a Vino bianco, herbs and filone toast for the appetizer and the Ricotta Cavatelli (alla mema) with broken meatballs and sausage sugo. Good grief the vino bianco/herb cream sauce on the mussels was incredible! Really! I could not get enough of it. I don't believe we've ever seen mussels on their menu, but man! These were phenomenal! The only complaint would be that there were not enough of the mussels. The ricotta cavatelli was also amazing... as are all of Viaggio's pasta dishes and sauces. Gelato stawberry/maple gelato was maybe the best gelato I've ever had. Not sure if they have this on their 'normal' menu, but if they do, I'm going to need some more. Sadly, once we 'dove' into the food... we forgot to take pictures. :-( Maybe next time! Just go. You won't be disappointed.

I had my back to the bar, but from what I was able to see this is a very cozy place. Service was quick and attentive, and we did not feel rushed and were able to enjoy a pleasant time chatting. Drinks: the black walnut Manhattan, Fig jam old fashioned, wine , beer and port. Drinks were all excellent, i tasted the Manhattan and enjoyed it over the Fig Jam. For apps: Clams oreganato (the couple with us enjoyed this), flat bread (was much more like pizza than flat bread, but still tasty, per my husband), and on the special New England Clam Chowder which was very good, not too thick and decent and fresh clams in it. Entrees: Shrimp Risotto scampi, very flavorful Risotto cooked perfectly. Two of us ordered the Cajun Mahi Mahi, over spinach with mashed, and 2 shrimp. the Cajun sauce was tasty with the perfect amount of heat, shrimp and mahi-mahi fresh and cooked perfectly. Rigatoni Bolognese which my husband enjoyed and said it was almost as good as my Italian mother's (like a good son-in-law) lol Dessert: Crème Brûlée - Brûlée was perfect, the crème was a little too thick for me. I ate it and enjoyed it, but not the best I've had. My husband ordered the key Lime Pie happy that it did not include nuts in the crust as some do, he thought it was good. Overall we had an enjoyable albeit pricy meal with good service. I would come back if other's wanted to go but it would not be my go to place.

My friend ordered a nice wine, and they had an extensive wine list with plenty of variety. I had the Purple Rain Martini because it was made with gin, which I love. It was a little sweeter than I usually prefer, but I still enjoyed it. There were two or three parties happening when we visited on Sunday afternoon, but they were nicely separated and did not affect the service at all. We were seated quickly, and our server was friendly and attentive. We started with the tuna tartare, which was delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the gnocchi. It seemed like it would normally be a great dish, but mine was a little too salty. I'm not sure whether the dish is usually prepared that way or whether it was just an off day. My friend ordered the vodka pasta and loved it. We did not have room for dessert, but I also have to mention how cool the overall ARCA theme is. The church-inspired design, stained-glass windows, and décor create such a unique atmosphere. Overall, we had a nice experience, and I'm looking forward to going back.

Decor offers a taste of Italy and adds to the charm. Started with a few apps and a chicken parm for the table to share. The Carciofi alla Giudia, the classic Jewish-Roman deep fried artichokes were beautifully presented. A good bit firmer than you'd find in Rome but were still well enjoyed and recommended. Tonno salad with fresh seared tuna was plentiful and packed with flavor. Speaking of flavor the porchetta sandwich was rich and delicious. Really this is closer to a bbq pork than authentic porchetta but still recommended. The star of the show is the chicken parm and eggplant parm. The eggplant was delicate, thinly sliced melt in your mouth. Luckily you get a huge plate. Chicken parm is also excellent and HUGE. While there is $10 plate fee if sharing a main they are fine if you order several items and share all. Very generous with their shaved Parmesan if requested. Prices on the higher side but not all that bad considering the quantity. This feels more like the type of place you come to with a large group than as a couple. Unless of course you are very hungry. Service is excellent.

What arrived did not appear to have burrata on it, but instead looked like a different melted cheese. I called the restaurant and asked if they could replace the pizza. I was told a replacement was only available for pickup, and that I would have to place and pay for a new order if I wanted another pizza delivered. When I asked for a refund, I was told I needed to contact the third-party delivery provider because Dough does not process refunds for online delivery orders. I then contacted Toast, the platform used for the order, and was told they could not issue the refund and that I needed to contact the restaurant. I called Dough again, explained the situation, and offered to send a photo. I made it clear that I was not trying to get free food. I simply wanted the correct order. After being placed on hold, I was told that the melted cheese on the pizza was the burrata and that this was how they prepare it. I am including a photo because I have never seen burrata served this way on a pizza. Mistakes happen, but the way this was handled was incredibly disappointing. I was passed back and forth, offered no reasonable delivery replacement or refund, and ultimately told that the pizza was correct despite what was delivered.
